He may have had the power awhile but then there was some sort of emotional trauma that happened and that’s why Jizzlord got stuck as a cat. Like maybe he and his wife/girlfriend/whatever had a huge fight about something, he turned into a cat and never changed back.

It really is uncanny. Especially if you compare with something Chyler did in 1999, like Not Another Teen Movie.

Well, to give it credit, Rachel did acknowledge that the Buy My Baby problem made no sense after Joey commented that he originally thought her problem would be about maternity leave.

S01.E06: The Real Powers Are the Friends We Made Along the Way

Yeah, at this point I’m thinking Carrie needs to ditch both Jen and Kash and get her own place. They’re dragging her down. -
Stuck as a cat for three years, that’s unfortunate. Still loving the power of the technologically incompetent mom of Jen. And Angela, the child boss. I liked her scene with the powers origin story.
-
Some of the powers people had were interesting. Like Jen’s mom who can control technology but doesn’t understand technology so she’s totally useless at it. And the 56 year old boss of Jen who looks like she’s 12. I suppose this could be written off as a result of whoever that is having the power to be a cat, but calico/tortie cats aren’t males.

Based on true crime story of Candy Montgomery, airs on HBO Max this spring, no release date yet.

Honestly, I think it’s more that this show is not well written and the supporting cast is not fleshed out at all. Melissa was part of an ensemble on The Big Bang Theory, a well written show with well developed characters. We just don’t have that here, it’s Melissa and John carrying a show that’s relying on nostalgia and very little else.

I think it was less about the wedding day itself and more a commentary on how she thought Ross’s marriage to Emily in general would turn out. Basically, it was Judy predicting that it would be worse than the one with Carol. And she was right.

Xena: Warrior Princess - General Discussion
Bort replied to David T. Cole's topic in Xena: Warrior Princess
I never watched Hercules in the first place, I was the weirdo who rolled in watching only Xena but I caught on to the fact that the shows were crossover heavy and I would watch Hercules if there was a crossover going on. -

I‘m pretty sure the day shift uses the same courtroom as the night shift. I think it’s just that it’s an old building, it was old and gross during the original show, 30-40 years later, it isn’t any fresher.
-
That’s the part that I think they really need to lighten up on. I’m sorry, but just about every viewer tuning in is a watcher of the original show. We knew this going in, it was explained in the first 30 seconds, we don’t need it hammered into our skulls in every single one of Abby’s scenes.

This topic is for the old show from the last century. Please direct commentary for the new reboot to the proper forum here.

Oof, I did not find this very funny. The only things I found even slightly amusing was the running joke about the birds in the ceiling and the Golden Girls mural at the end. Bright side, the only direction to go is up.

Meh, I never really cared for Trevor as Frederick anyway, fine with me.
-
Nah, they didn’t do that back then.
-
Definitely not, but mostly because I would’ve been absolutely livid if one of my friends posed as my child’s parent to gain access to a celebrity’s house.

We did see Ben in season 8 but completely unrelated to Rachel. Monica and Chandler’s wedding, the Phoebe stalks Sting episode (which is probably my most hated plot ever) and the Ms. Pac-Man arcade game plot. And that was the last we saw him.

Not that I’ve heard. It’s not a streaming show, it’s just something playing on the regular Hallmark channel.

Especially since the original mission of rescuing Airk and defeating The Crone did not include Elora as a factor. It was doomed to fail because they wouldn’t have accomplished it without her.

Ditto for me on most of the sentiment. I’ve complained about some stuff but I liked it overall. I never got completely won over by Kit because she was just So Awful to start out, but maybe I’ll have forgotten about it by next season. Definitely would like to see Boorman’s mom and more Sorsha next season. Although, now that I think about it, Boorman’s mom has gotten so built up in my mind, it might end up being like Maris Crane or Debbie Wolowitz where the character appearing would shatter the illusion. The Crone had a line that cracked me up. It started out as the typical spiel regurgitated by a Big Bad, “You think you can defeated The Wyrm!? He’s eternal, bitch.” Boorman too. “I’d like to leave this world the way I came in: butt naked and kicking ass.” I’m stealing that one. I knew as soon as The Crone broke Cherlindrea’s wand that Elora wasn’t going to need it. She IS a wand.

Ditto. I started out thinking the woman that we saw in the beginning was an older version of Rowan (which I think was the idea) but then obviously, she turned out to be the older version of Deirdre that we were seeing in the main bulk of the episode and she was Rowan’s mother. Non linear storytelling, I’ve got a handle on it the from season 1 of The Witcher, so no problem. I wasn’t terribly interested at first but I definitely thought it picked up at the end and I’ll be watching more. They really broke out the Cajun cliché with the doctor in the pastel suit and bowtie, I’m surprised he didn’t have an accent. Also? I realize the drug trial guy was taking a piss in front of Rowan as a power play but for gods sake, wash your hands after you touch your dick. I also like Alexandra Daddario, I first saw her way back when she was on All My Children — she was terrible there but it was definitely a matter of her learning how to act and they cut her loose right when she was finally getting the hang of it. No matter, her career was the better for it.
