Joy's "blackface", if you want to call it that, is not what is usually considered to be blackface, which depicts a much darker skin color. I doubt that someone looking at the photograph, and knowing nothing else, would say she was in blackface. She wore foundation a couple of shades darker than her usual shade.

I was confused as well. Don Jr. said that he's a rich guy from New York, and Joy retorted that he wasn't that rich. He kind of laughed and said yeah, he's just a man of the people. There was a bit of talk after that, that I didn't catch, and then Whoopie said something like it would be better to ask questions without jokes, and I also wondered if she was referring to Joy. If so, there was an odd delay. First, if any show needed a joke to break the tension (if only momentary), today's show was it. Second, no matter who Whoopie was referring to, I'll give her a pass today; it was hard enough just watching the show; being in the middle of it, and trying to figure out how to rein it in, which was obviously an impossible task, is excuse enough. He thinks he's so tough, but he actually looked very unsure of himself throughout the interview.

Wow, was that Meghan? She must have really hated sitting at the same table with Don Jr. She looked like she could finally take a breath, and actually showed a little bit of humility, and seemed grateful for her co-hosts.

The poor closed captioner. This show is a mess to end all messes, but I agree, it's worth watching

Aw. Donny looks to his girlfriend to help him out. All of the hosts are doing a great job. Except.... Meghan hasn't said a word. I wonder why she didn't sit this one out? She almost looks on the verge of tears. Has the audience ever booed anyone like that?

Meghan is not happy about something.

Hey, guys - that picture! She changed - look who's wearing a white pantsuit!

This is far out there, I know, but last month I came in on the middle of Amy McGrath being interviewed by Meghan's favorite talk show host, Seth Myers, and they were having a very lighthearted conversation. Maybe Meghan saw it, and thought "no fair!", so she's holding it against her.

I wonder if Meghan has seen/read actual coverage of Mitch McConnell's opponent's, Amy McGrath, campaign, or if she's simply repeating other people's opinions. I don't think it's getting a lot of coverage nationally. Maybe Fox News is covering it. Plus, that election is almost a year from now, so, if she is running a terrible campaign, there's plenty of time to fix it.

Hmm...Meghan seemed much less upset about what Lindsey Graham has been saying lately than she was in the recent past when his name has come up. And then she says she just spoke with him recently. She's not usually such a pushover. There's a difference between a candidate wanting to help the Russians and the Russians wanting to help a particular candidate (by having bots boost the amount of positive attention they get on social media). Gabbard can't control that. That's what "unwitting" means. It's not an insult to her intelligence that she takes it as. Oh, Meghan. You're not a "trigger". Get over yourself. I was like. "No white pantsuit!" She did have one on on Sunday, so that's the third time in the last week or so.

I saw an article yesterday about Don Jr.'s appearance on CBS This Morning earlier in the day. He's publicizing his new book. entitled "Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us". So - it doesn't sound like Kimberly was on with him. Do you think she's coming on The View because as a "work friend" of Meghan's and Abby's, she thinks they'll (especially Meghan) go easier on him with her there?

Oh, you were nice to do that. I remember Joy doing that; she did a little "da da da da..." of the music herself, when Abby and Whoopie were both talking about Trump threatening people. I guess Meghan didn't want any musical accompaniment for her story.

I would love to know what it was.

Boy, the talking over each other was dialed up today. The camera wasn't on Joy at the time, so I wonder if there was some specific reason Meghan said, "This is serious, Joy" (at least she said it quietly.) when she was talking about Trump wanting her fired from Fox.

I don't hate Meghan. I hate that she has this position on a well known talk show and doesn't care to learn the basics of the job that anybody else would have to know before they would even get a tryout. I hate how she often chooses belligerence over civil discussion, but then plays the victim if anyone calmly disagrees with her. I hate her self serving claim that people don't like her because of her politics. I doubt that's true for most people. A lot of people here love Ana, also a Republican. I also like Abby, another Republican, who knows how to do her job, is kind, and doesn't come with Meghan's sense of entitlement. Meghan doesn't act like the co-hosts are all equals, and that rubs a lot of people the wrong way.

It depends. Do you want "sparks" or are you looking for a pretty light-hearted show? (They did show a clip from 2002 of Whoopie (a guest at the time) trying to boost Joy upwards on a stripper pole.)

That's a good point; I mean, a white pantsuit? You'd have to have at least two, if you wear it so much, for when one's at the dry cleaner's. Meghan said Beto is one of the first out of the race. Of those who've been in at least one of the debates, he's the eighth candidate to drop out. I want Meghan to find one other person who also thinks Beto was the most left candidate. Meghan is wasting her talents, isn't she, if she "really knows primary politics 100% well". Wednesday.

I imagine Meghan is the same around her family as she is on tv, so.... I think Meghan needs professional help, and if she is seeing someone, she might want to try someone else. She is just as angry, rude, and entitled today as she was when she first started the show, which was just a few months after her father's cancer diagnosis. (And the powers-that-be are enabling her bad behavior.)

One thing the article got wrong was saying that Ana and Meghan haven't been on the show together since Meghan's blowup that first week. They were both on the next two Fridays, but not since then.

I wonder if Gabbard will be wearing her white pantsuit. I've seen her in passing twice this week, in the studio being interviewed on two different channels, and that's what she had on (not 100% positive, but I don't think it was the same day.)

This irks me so much. She doesn't even think she needs to pretend to be happy to be there when she walks out, but seems to think everyone (hosts included) should be grateful for her presence and the knowledge they receive from her fount of wisdom about politics.

For me, it's a matter of not liking serial liars being given a platform to speak on tv. Why bother wasting time having a conversation with people like that?
