At this point I have absolutely no idea who will be F1, but I can’t imagine Bekah not making it to at least F3 and probably F2. Arie may be trying to tell himself that she’s too young and not a good candidate for marriage at this point, but he seems truly smitten, and Bekah really knows how to play him.

The right choice again tonight - Soleil had to go. My favorites are Abby and Brin. They’re both good bakers, adorable, and have appealing personalities, confident but not cocky.

I still think Jacqueline is beautiful (she looks like Katie Holmes to me) but she has a BAD case of resting bitch face.

Arie seems to enjoy many of the women, and certainly enjoys kissing them, but so far he doesn’t seem smitten by any of them. I don’t see any evidence of real excitement or interest on his part. He asks them the requisite questions, but then seems pretty disinterested in what they have to say. I’m thinking there must be lots of stuff they’re not showing us, to keep us guessing.

Did anyone else cringe when Arie was kissing Bekah and put his hands through her hoop earrings? I was just waiting for disaster to strike. Who the heck is Jacqueline? I’ve never seen her interact with Arie or get any screen time, but she’s a beauty. I remember on Sean’s season, they all but ignored Catherine’s existence until suddenly, voila, she was F1.

Glad both Brin and Beverly were safe tonight. I think Brin is adorable and Beverly has settled down some and is less over the top. Also, for the youngest competitor (age 10) she seems fairly mature. Too bad she didn’t think to call her dessert a deconstructed lemon bar - very trendy!

I think Bekah is lovely and seems mature and delightful. But I can’t help but remember a contestant from another season that most of us liked initially, who had short hair and seemed mature and delightful at first.... and turned out to be Kelsey Poe.

What a truly disgusting thing to say. Ms. Blue Jay, I hope you know that the “rotten eggs” comment was made by a former Bachelor contestant, not by Mu Shu!

I was pleasantly surprised by the first episode of this season. What a delightful group of kids, smart but not pretentious, confident but not conceited, cute but not obnoxious. The only one teetering on the edge of overdoing the schtik is Beverly, but hey, she’s only ten. I’m going to enjoy this group!

Funny, my thought was just the opposite, that she’s probably relatively old(er).

Maquel has terrible hair. That too-long, stringy fake blond look is not working. I’m liking this season so far, and I’m going to enjoy watching the drama brought by Krystal, Bekka and Chelsea, to name but a few. I’m wondering if Caroline is the sleeper candidate? I kind of like her.

OMG, less than half an hour into the season, and I am swooning. Arie, it’s been a long five years! ❤️

True, but the blue and white color scheme was associated with Judaism and Jewish holidays long before the state of Israel was created. From a poem written in 1864: “Blue and white are the colours of Judah; white is the radiance of the priesthood, and blue, the splendors of the firmament." OK, back to baking!

I think maybe it was supposed to “not work” and will be fleshed out in coming episodes. We still don’t know the back story on Glassman, his own tragedy or how, why and what his relationship with Shaun came to be. Shaun yelling, “You’re not my father!” seemed like a bigger blow than the physical slap. Poor Toby!

I disagree with this. I thought she was being an idiot through much of the episode. Actually, I was referring to the actress, not the character. I should’ve used the actress’s name, but I don’t know what it is.
