Thank you, AnimeMania. My eyes are not the best, and I did not see the candle.

Zeke said that the package contained a blue candle that was very meaningful to him (at least I think that's what he said). But when he opened the package, the contents looked like a T-shirt. Can someone please clarify?

Every time we saw Mila, her eyes were open. If she couldn't blink, wouldn't her eyes become dry and painful? Maybe the nurse gave her eyedrops. I have heard of unconscious patients who couldn't blink having their eyelids gently taped shut.

Are the lyrics to the theme of the old Batman TV show copyrighted, since there is only one word?

Trent and Dhan look too much alike for my weak eyes. Maybe one of them will shave.
Someone who lived in an apartment with several deadbolt locks on the door told me not to lock all the locks. If someone picks the locks, they could lock an unlocked lock, so they still couldn't get in.
Why don't previews have closed captions?

I don't care who they are, as long as there are only two of them per episode and they have interesting ancestor stories.

I rarely comment on clothing, but are both male contestants color blind? If they had traded shirts (or jackets/sweaters) they both would have looked better.

In one episode of BBT, Sheldon mentioned that he had learned Hindi at age 8 (before YS began). This is not mentioned in YS. I suspect he never told his family, because his mother would disapprove of his learning a language used by many non-Christians.

The Fireworks concert was on the Boston waterfront, about 1990.

Once I heard & saw Handel's Music for the Royal Fireworks live, with fireworks. It takes a lot of skill to coordinate everything because the fireworks need to be launched before the notes they go with, so they will explode at the right moment.

Week 2: 3/5. In keeping with the Chinese Food theme, I'll bring a big batch of jiandui (sesame balls or black bean donuts), just out of the fryer because they are best fresh.

I also thought that the raw speculation as to the cause of the family deaths was not an actual case solution. They can give up and call it an unsolved case if they want, but to think the Prof's speculation amounts to an answer is absurd.
Agreed. I was expecting more evidence to turn up, that would require a Part 2 of the mystery.

4/5. Still recuperating after last week's surgery. After floundering badly on Monday, I managed to recover. Will bring something from my freezer.

I'm in. I had surgery on Wednesday and just got out of the hospital, so I may be at one of the "fewer FJ" tables this week.

I watched on Passport and did not see the 'behind the scenes' bit at the end. Do I need to look for that separately?

As I posted at the end of this season:

3rd Place is a tie! Congratulate both @Driad and @theartandsound!
Thank you for doing this, Clanstarling! 3rd place is my sweet spot; I'm pretty sure I have been 3rd in some previous year.

In the series finale (which I saw when it first aired but haven't seen since), Captain Miller read out the characters' new assignments. IIRC, Wojo was to go to K9 Corps, and the audience reacted as if this was especially awful. Probably Wojo would have to deal with riots etc., but was K9 Corps really so much worse than other assignments?

Jeopardy! Season 40 (2023-2024)
in Jeopardy!
AIUI, for regular play they do not schedule contestants with the same first name to be in the same game. In a tournament that may not always be possible. Would they use first names and initials (if different)? What if the last initials were the same?
