  1. I wish the interviews were more often relevant to the game.  If a contestant is a professor or student, I'd like to know what their field is, because it can affect how well they do in certain categories.  Most of the "how I met my spouse" and "what I did on vacation" stories are pretty dull, IMO.

Is there a summary of the Blenheim Vale case somewhere, for those of us who don't have time to search for the relevant episodes and rewatch them?  adTHANKSvance!

Am I the only one sick of Blenheim Vale!  End already!

The next episode is the finale, so you'll get your wish.  But it sounded as if knowing something about Blenheim Vale will help us understand the finale.  Fortunately I found this:

My best guess is that there is some time that elapses in between them viewing the crime scene and when they have to start baking so that they can look up recipes.

That makes sense.  During that time they can also do the interviews about how they decided which dessert to make.

  4. I wondered about bodies of water smaller than oceans, but I don't know them, so I said Pacific and Southern Oceans. Then I remembered children's nonfiction books (was that James H?) and changed Southern to Indian.

  5. The orchestra and the curse of the ninth symphony had me thinking I had seen this before, until I realized I was remembering a Midsomer Murders episode.

Shouldn't Bright have more medals/ribbons than he does?

  6. Having so many birthstones for each month is confusing but sometimes convenient.  I made a necklace for my mother, with the birthstones of her family members.  One person insisted on having their stone be their favorite color, which was not the usual color of the birthstones, but one stone had that color as an alternative.  (If we hadn't found that, I would have used the person's favorite color anyway, but this made it a bit easier to explain.)

  7. Someone who worked about 1970 programming big mainframe computers told me that some programmers started working earlier and earlier, and others worked later and later, until there was someone using the computers at all times.  Then management started requiring everyone to work the same daytime hours.  Productivity quickly dropped by more than half because the computers could not handle all the programmers working at the same time.
