After re-watching the TCC rookies I must say:
- OMG Amelia is prettier than Rachel Wyatt! She is pretty pretty, just gorgeous. She looks like Wonder Woman!
- Darian is better than the whole triangle we had last year!
- McKenzie is Caroline level good.
- Dani is wonderful, she does reminds me (in a good way) of Kalyssa Singleton. Way back then, Kalyssa was the it-girl and now Dani is among so many wonderful glamour rookie girls that she almost doesn't stand out. But she does. I am #TeamDani!
- Jada is a star, potential point girl, Lacey-esque.
- Elli gives me the good old DCC season 6 vibe of a vibrant, fresh, beauty. She dances like she can be point, Gina Ligi competence.
- There has already been said enough about Claire Wolford and she has delivered on every single point, she is the real deal. She puts most current DCC's behind her. Who can match her on the current team? Only Kelcey, Amanda, Gina, Ashlee, Caroline, Amber and Jalyn.
- Last but not least: Armani. The only reason that Armani did not make SG is that Kelli wants to have veterans on there as well. She is a potential point girl.

1. I am so sorry but there is something about Sydney that just rubs me off the wrong way. I am sure she's a lovely person in real life but I haven't seen it yet. Also in my opinion she looked sloppy in the pom dance video she submitted.

7. I loved Elli and Jada. I think they were powerful without overdoing it.
8. I don't like that K&J are having doubts about Kelly without actually showing us her making mistakes. From the little screen time she got I thought she was good. We'll see what happens.Anyways that's it for now. Can't wait for Episode 2.

Sorry that I have to say this but Marissa brings the whole TCC down. No one forced Marissa to apply and yet here she is, definitely under-qualified. Under-qualified. Yes, she has some power, but that has nothing to do with her looks. Kelli and Judy have cut girls for their looks in the past but somehow, out of the 1500 applications they invited Marissa into TCC! I don't think that Marissa would have survived the normal procedure, with girls standing side by side, I mean, compare Marissa with Tori or Shannan; Marissa does not match up, she just doesn't. Sorry.

so far over previous seasons (I know for a fact I’ll miss loads here) from my memory we’ve had previously NY JETS (3 I know of), Patriots (when it was made a point of asking about the patriots locker room), now Falcons, Miami Dolphins, 49ers, Texans, Buccs, Washington, vikings any others escape me (it is 11pm here in the uk 🤣) although I’ve found this below even though it is 5 years out of date
I don’t know about Sydney. I need to see how her character is.
I am not an automatic fan.

There are 2 things:
- Marissa and Tiktok
- Marissa's dance presentation and her look
I have nothing to say about Marissa and what she does on TikTok. It's all part of TikTok.
Marissa's behaviour on TCC, her dance ability and her look is definitely a whole different ballgame. How can you sent Marissa on an appearance with Amanda, Kat, Savannah and Rachel W?

You are correct about the consensus on Hannah, but we will see the official version of her dismissal on DCC:MTT the coming weeks. She did go to TC and the bubble. You are also correct on the assumptions on Brennan, Lily and Meredith. My understanding is that Kelli was waiting for the opportunity to kick Brennan and she found a pretext: new pretty girls.
#TeamJalyn is also disappointed in the decision-making skills of Kelli.
New is the formation, with a wonderful surprise for #TeamAmanda: she jumped from the back to the front!

It was said on these boards that Ashley held some sort of acquaintance with a financial sound individual who promised Ashley that he would 'buy' a spot on the team for her. What Ashley had to do for this favor was never specified. I remember different posters claiming this and stating that Julia was some sort of Mother Teresa. There were quite some (positive and negative) posts about Julia and Ashley.
Perhaps Kelli did not like Ashley's alleged arrangement.

I always thought that Breelan looked stunningly beautiful. Really, really, really pretty. I have tried to write down of a top 10 most beautiful DCC's of all time but I never finished this top 10 because of the fact that the differences between the really pretty girls that made the top 10 was so small, that the top 10 exceeded 10 DCC's. This never stopped me from having Breelan in the top 10 though. And Abigail Klein, Danielle Barhold, Nicole Bulcher...Also, It wouldn't be fair to have only the girls from Making The Team in the top 10.

Amanda's position is not only justified but it gives me hope for the future, just when I started to think our little East Texas despot lost her marbles in 3D chess involving legacy acceptance.
How did Amanda achieve this 4 row jump I wondered, or better: what did superstar Jalyn do to get on Kelli's vindictive and resentful side, all but ending her chances of a career with the DCC? One would be correct to conclude that Kelli's decisions are all over the place, but as always, there is a sensible foundation for what appears to be foolish or strange behaviour.
Kelli is an emotional decision maker and this means that the feelings she achieves with her decisions are more important than achieving a clear defined organizational objective. I don't think Jerry Jones gave Kelli her job to have Kelli feel good about herself but this is exactly how Kelli arrives at decisions and how she runs the DCC. If she feels better by cutting Brennan than to keep her around, she will cut Brennan. It is all about her discomforts and hang ups. Kelli selects her favourites based on a set of many communicating vessels combining pretty face, dance ability, docility and many other characteristics.
I think that Amanda has been able to avoid issues with Kelli because she is from New York/New Jersey. Kelli clearly finds more value in girls from New York/New Jersey than girls from Indiana.

That is a very interesting point, Brennan Cook as an All Star.
Considering her poise and grace she could have been an All Star. However, I am afraid that in this case the axiom "How can I laugh tomorrow if I can't even smile today" really applies to Brennan's situation.
She made the squad after being cut twice. Only after Kelli let her emotions guide her she reluctantly let Brennan join the team. These emotions were:
- Anger, because in the previous year there were some girls who had the audacity to quit on her (Kalyssa Singleton and Alexandria Stavropoulos)
- Guilt (poor Brennan)
Brennan's position in the squad photo is also reflective of her standing in Kelli's brain: she didn't move forward, she was always close to the rookies in the back. Brennan was also not invited to dance in the shoot of the new DCC:MTT leaders and clips.
The sad conclusion is that Brennan was never on Kelli's team, only tolerated. When the situation presented itself, Kelli grabbed it with both of her East Texas hands and threw Brennan out.
So why was Brennan a second class citizen in the DCC squad? Not because she was unprofessional, or because she couldn't do a pirouette, or because she talked back. No. Brennan was a black sheep and a filler because Kelli didn't think Brennan was pretty enough.
To be clear: beauty is in the eyes of the beholder because I think that Brennan is a whole lot prettier than Amy, and Amy is an All Star!

Eventhough I am excited to see it all unfold again, I am struggling to get into it like previous years. The great part of it all (in previous seasons) was the day by day social media posts by participants who were through to another round. We didn't get that. And we didn't get enough teasers from those stages.
We probably will not see Kelli step out a SUV with full make up and East Texas color blocking walking towards the camera, and we will probably not see excited girls with great expectations standing in line, or cameo's by superstars like Danielle Barhold or Brittany Evans. Upside: we will not see Amy show the choreo next to Judy.
