#TeamKristin here: if we are talking looks, not a lot of girls can stand toe to toe with her. She has gorgeous hair, wonderful face, big beautiful eyes and a tremendous smile. Her skin is wonderful and she has got the perfect dimensions. Perfect.
It pains me go hear that she doesn’t know her worth. She does not have to beg.
Odd duck or not, she is in the top 40 of most beautiful DCC’s of all time.
Kat, the hated one, is also top 40.

I agree with you on all your points except one: Hannah’s look was not really great. Great is something else. Great is Rachel and Kat. Nicole Bulcher and Danielle Barhold. Kinzie and Katy. Ashton and Alyssa. Maggie Rouse and Tasha Cruz.
The fact that Hannah’s look isn’t really great doesn’t disqualify Hannah as a great courageous person who is a hell of a dancer, nor is a good justification for cutting her, but just like Amy L, Hannah has an acquired taste look.
There, I said it.
What really doesn’t make sense is cutting Hannah and have Marissa join the team and SG.

My guess is they weren’t getting what they wanted from interviews from girls at a similar level and adjusted story arcs accordingly.
With that in mind, I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought her and Meredith in at the same time and cut them together. Both girls were treated like story arcs instead of dancers. The only difference is Lily may have lasted longer if this was just about cheerleading and Meredith may not have made it at all.
Some women go into this solely worried about making the team while others go into knowing they are also a reality tv contestant.
I wish I could like your perspicacious post a hundred times. Lily jumped into the DCC rabbit hole without any other objective than following her dream of dancing and Kat, well Kat didn’t.
Is it really horrible that Kat knew how she could navigate through the minefields? I think it is wonderful that Lily jumped in like she did. It makes me like her more. It doesn’t make me dislike Kat. I do not think people are supposed to be saints.

Definitely not the end of the world. It’s Kelli’s group, a group of dancers she has to show to people how great she is.
Despite what Kelli says, being in Showgroup has zero to do with dance ability.

Bridget was the last girl with that “it” factor for me. She would’ve been a fantastic group leader, point, and pro bowl representative for DCC.
Most of these girls that are left don’t have what she and past girls had (Melissa W., Jenna, Erica). I am NOT saying the girls on the team are lacking in talent or beauty but my goodness, they all seem like the same person to me. I feel like we are just settling at this point for GL, show group, and point.
The only bunch I am excited to see for however many years they have left are Amanda, Briana, Jada (based on what they have shared), and Kelcey. I truly forget about the other girls until someone brings them up or I’m just not seeing the hype (Maddie, Gina... please don’t kill me, Caroline).
This season is a hot mess. I predicted Meredith and Lily getting cut considering they barely made it last year (personally I think Lily should’ve made it the year before). Brennan and Hannah were robbed of their season.

Bridget was one with the X factor indeed and very, very high on the glamour scale. I think the East Texas treatment by Kelli after Bridget fainted, made Bridget to decide to get out of Dodge.

I am sooo exited about this new season and I can’t wait to see the veterans and rookies.

I am biased too. I’m #TeamSavvy
There are several things to consider, not only the ability to dance.
Gina is a great, great dancer but she underperforms in other area’s. Savannah has such high scores on almost all other areas except dancing, that it would be crazy to cut her for her dancing. Crazy things have happened these past weeks but among reasonable people it would be strange to advocate for a veteran cut like Savannah.

Amy L should be around the 6th place. And Marissa on the 5th. On the 7th place we find the recently retired Christina.I considered to add a recently cut veteran to this list but that would be insensitive.

To be honest, it is not that Brennan and Hannah did not butt kiss, they didn't butt kiss enough. Let's not kid ourselves, it is not like someone can be on the team without butt kissing.
Bridget, Hannah and Brennan didn't retroactively become Snake Plissken all of the sudden.

You hit the nail on the head with this post.
We, the viewers, can handle petty nepotism, horrible HR behaviour, bad management and mixing rational objectives with emotional hissy fits. We see it every day, we can handle it.
It is the BS we cannot handle.
Meagan should not take anything that comes out of Kelli’s east Texas mouth seriously. Kelli is constantly looking for arguments after she makes a decision to make her decisions palatable, acceptable, while the thought process should be the other way around: first the arguments and then the decision.
‘World class’: not really, small town syndrome better defines it.
If Kelli wouldn’t be such a hypocrite and a self-bullshitter everything would be so much better: Victoria? Yeah, she’s one of my own, so back off. Meagan? I don’t like you. Hannah? You are too different from me. Meredith? Last year it felt good to push you on the team and now that’s old, I need another diamond in the rough. Jalyn, you don’t suck up to me, so I’ll punish you.
No collateral damage like Meagan Pravden with this approach.

The sentence 'I am humbled' is so full of emotional, relational and cultural complexity and ancient connotations, that almost everyone should avoid it at all cost at the risk of having to explain it, and coming up short. It also comes off as incredible disingenuous. Nelson Mandela or Eli Wiesel could pull it of, not many others. My advise to Marissa: just use "oh, I have no words!"
The first time I saw Marissa I thought she looked like Amy, and let me tell you, that's not a good thing. Oh no, I thought, here we go again! Despair and fear gripped my senses and I involuntarily said out loud: Jesus, Kelli just go for the Nicole Bulchers and the Danielle Barholds, it's not rocket science!
I shouldn't exorcise my Amy anguish on Marissa. What if she is an incredible powerful dancer, what then? I'd be humbled, that's for sure!

Constantly?!? If I was her, and I was in a room with Savannah, Amanda, Jada, Jessica, Tess, Kristin to name a few, I would have mentioned it once and I would have shut up about it. If I had seen Kat and Miss Wyatt I would not have said a word about my pageant wins.
Sorry, this must sound harsh, but imagine the competition if Marissa wins the pageant!

The consensus around these parts is that there is no point to have a point and that’s why TPTB have not communicated who is the point at this point 😁. It is not needed this season, since the girls will not be on the field but on those weird platforms.
I do think that on the show we will get to hear who is point though.

As the horrible person I am, I was hoping desperately for a TC, disregarding the fact that it could jeopardize the health of all participants, and I was very happy when it took place. Eventhough horrible things happened during TC and Kelli showed herself once again to be a East Texas despot, I am again being a horrible person because I am actually excited to have a new team!
Brennan cut and I am excited for the new team and I can't wait to see them! Hannah tossed aside like a her efforts do not mean anything, and I am so fired up to see Alora Rose and Amanda dance together. Kat proven to be a rule breaker (I read homewrecker even, disregarding the players role in his own home wrecking), and I still want to see what she is up to! I am angry that Jalyn didn't get to dance on the SG but I want to see her again so I need to watch the show again. My good person has been taken hostage by my need to see the girls again.
I feel bad that looking at the names of the new DCC 2020-2021 feels so good. There are some great new girls on there and I must give it to Kelli: the team is definitely more glamorous! The beauty bar has been raised (not counting Daphne, who's looks are as exciting as her blog during TC) and I am all for it! Thinking about it, Amy's retirement automatically raised the beauty bar so the beauty bar is even higher!
Jada is going to be great. Her kicks are a dream. I am already #TeamJada

The more I read, the more I think they did cut Brennan and it's downright despicable. If it was for her health or a stamina issue, why not discuss that with her before TC? It makes me so sad and angry.
I don't see ratings going up because of these cuts. And, in a way, I hope they drop because of this. I'm no longer looking forward to the show and don't think I will be watching anymore.
If Hannah's departure was amicable then Bridget would not have responded like this (page 20 of this thread). Thanks for the info Holly!

What tea did Bridget spill?? Bridget posted a negative message about Brennan's and Hannah's cut and deleted the post after a couple of hours.
Is Rachel W homophobic? Rachel W is not homophobic, she posted several messages about her believes where the only logical conclusion could be that being gay in the Bible is not viewed as positive. There were also some insiders that claimed Rachel said bad things about gays in the organisation. This does not seem very true to Rachel's character though.
What is the "proof" that Kat slept with a player? The only proof we have is a post from an insider. Because of the quantity of these posts, there is a general consensus that Kat actually did something with a player. It has to be said that the same insiders claimed that other girls were also doing things with players.
