I used to do my own manicures and pedicures. I still do my own manicures but started getting professional pedicures about 10 years ago. They do a much better job on the polish on my toenails than I could and although they offer gel I never get any pushback when I say no. I get them about 4/5 times a year starting in April and when the colder weather hits and I know no one is going to see my nails my final one is just a pedicure no polish.
