  1. Felicity! My bae! Aww... Alright, fine! I'm waking up earlier than usual to catch this sizzle reel! Looks like an M4 Carbine with grenade launcher.
  2. GDI, Guggie!!! Mulder was right... *sigh* Just another way that this dumb season has let me down! Lol.
  3. I can't go through this again tomorrow! I nearly had a heart attack while driving all over the freeways of LA, okay?! And they better not be dropping it on Friday either, when I will be in airports and traveling all day! LMAO
  4. It's 3:30 PST... Do we seriously still not have the sizzle reel??! I didn't break speeding limits to get home only to be left hanging like this! Me, right now, while I keep refreshing everywhere to check for that stupid sizzle reel of a show I still kinda love/but am kinda petty about, too:
  5. I'm guessing the reason why he blurred his lower half is because he's still in his own clothes and not necessarily completely costumed/transformed into S1-island Oliver. Otherwise, if this is for a flashback to S1-island Oliver then where are his scars and tattoos?
  6. I just find it sorta weird and funny that his marriage, apparently, got revitalized thanks to a hipster-y music festival in the desert filled with the youngins drinkin' and drankin' all day and night. Alright. He kinda needed a beta reader, though, to check for overshare, sincerity, and other writing pitfalls because that was not a well-written post. But that's just me, though. Anyway, SA certainly has that HVFF/Comic Con photo op smile down pat!
  7. Based on this picture, I'm going to hazard a guess that the explosion in 5x19 is going to happen in Oliver's pants! Heh. It's great to be excited about an Arrow episode again.
  8. I just wanna give a shoutout to @Mellowyellow and @MaisyDaisy for all the information and reassurances they gave when my sisters and family got stranded because of Cyclone Debbie, which really did a number on Australia. You guys were super helpful and I really appreciate your help. My family has gotten back home now and they said that the people at Airlie Beach were really great and extremely helpful despite the problems everyone was dealing with due to the storm. I hope everyone that got hit at Queensland bounces back from this and they can start rebuilding all that was destroyed by the cyclone.
  9. Strictly speaking, if that 8 Box Love Song challenge thing is supposed to be a modified-to-the-extreme-level push-up exercise then no, his knees shouldn't be bending and his whole form should be kept straight throughout. But that looks super hard so kudos SA. I'm thrilled by this gym rivalry they have going on. It makes me laugh that SA thinks of EBR as his biggest fitness rival. It also amuses me to think that SA might still be a little salty that he couldn't beat EBR at the Sally-Up so he chose an exercise that he thinks might be harder for tiny Emily to challenge her on.
  10. Holy shit at that ending! So freakin' perfect. Chase being super calm and cool in public under all that psycho was just really working for me throughout the episode. And then he goes berserk at the end! Man, I love JS as a villain. Holy fucking shit, he's absolutely nuts. Hats off to Blake Neely, too, for Chase's villain score. The music sort of reminds me of Darth Vader in Rogue One kinda? Then that transition to the happy song as Chase drives back to SC, whistling and covered in blood. Perfect. The bromance between Diggle and Oliver is ace. Diggle's passionate but stern pleas to Oliver to listen to him because he knows Oliver, and then Oliver telling him that maybe Digg shouldn't want him as his brother really got me. I love their relationship a lot. I've missed their bond. DR got some really fantastic scenes and SA was pretty great, too, now that he's remembered to be emotive again. Also, and this is important, DR is super hot when he's angry. Broken Oliver is just so sad to watch... Dude really needs to go to therapy or have Diggle (and Felicity) sit down with him every other week to talk about his demons. The acting was top notch but, honestly, just please skew his learning curve a bit higher so we can have an Oliver who finally realizes he doesn't have to be such a loner and that his dark past does not define him and that he actually has helped make a great number of people's lives better. Otherwise, at around the same time next season, we'll be back to broken down, doubtful Oliver again, rinse and repeat. I enjoyed every scene with Felicity at Helix, the loft, and Kord Industries. And EBR with her hair down, decked all in black, in heist mode is super gorgeous. I loved the tiny Delicity moment we had, though I wanted Digg to be a little more concerned why she's acting the way she is. Then again, Digg was pretty preoccupied with Oliver so I'll let that go. Also really liked that tiny Olicity moment at the lair at the end. I laughed at Rene's look when Diggle talked about him threatening to pop Chase's cap at the Mayor's office. Curtis was kinda annoying and a little too much in this episode. Tinah was... Tinah. I miss Rory. I, also, really miss Thea and I dislike so much that TPTB shortened WH's episode order count yet they keep giving all the boobs all the screentime in the world. I'm going to watch the episode live, later, but I was so happy that my stream cut off during the Susie/Oliver break-up in the beginning. #blessed
  11. Emma Watson was Belle. Heh. Emma Thompson is the far, far more superior British Emma.
  12. Black Lightning looks pretty cool! Berlanti's producing this, right? Have they said if it was going to be part of the Arrowverse or not exactly, like Supergirl? If it will be, which show is going to introduce him?
  13. Funny. That kinda reminds me of someone whose acting choices seemed stuck more on the headcanon they had in their head rather than what ended up actually happening onscreen...
  14. Uh, maybe it's just the lighting tricking me but why does Ragman's head gear kinda look like there are actual eyes and a mouth on it? Is his rags just on a bust that Darhk, for some reason, put googly eyes on and drew a lip over or is that Ragman's actual head? I've forgotten but wasn't Ragman's costume "bonded" to the wearer? Does that mean no one can use/remove the rags except the person it was bonded to, ergo, that might be his actual... head? Also, Starling City should really look into Darhk's misuse of funds for that Dead Superhero Shrine of his. He's going to need to buy a new head bust for Felicity's mask, too, since that's just an empty stand next to Diggle's Spartan helmet.
  15. Same. So, at least, thanks to CL for preparing me for it. I was, however, not quite prepared for that dickish interview. My goodness, that guy can be such an a-hole. Imagine being EBR and reading about your boss' opinion about your character. Such a terrible showrunner.
  16. They do that all the time! Felicity-related info has a tendency to get the most clicks/retweets/buzz for the Arrowverse. I was all hyped about Vigilante!Felicity and her scene was done before the credits even rolled. Ah, well, at least I don't need to watch the live episode when it airs here later. I wish she was on longer but... She died a good death, not for anyone else's pain but because she continued to protect the city she loves, despite having lost her entire team. "You honor the dead by fighting." Y'all, she outlasted the superpowered ones! Don't really care about whatever the haters do, tbh. Because get you a fave that other shows spend money on to make her a costume, and concept art, for a 2-minute cameo. Hah.
  17. ^ Is Debbie the cyclone category 4 (5?) that's around Australia right now? My sisters, their husbands, and my nephew are actually stranded at Arlie Beach because all flights out got cancelled and all rental cars were sold out. They're there on vacation and are supposed to come back tomorrow but had to scramble to get accommodations plus update their work about the delay. Talked to them last night and they assured us they're safe but they've been incommunicado since. Anyway, take care Australia! Hope this doesn't cause too much damage to y'all.
  18. I agree. Things seem to have certainly spiraled quite a bit on his FB. *sigh* And, to think, last weekend's HVFF was mostly super fun times. Me @ Steve, after reading his responses to the posts with multiple valid points:
  19. Girl. I wouldn't even worry about Madison's acting abilities when we have KC possibly following JS' footsteps as the potential bigger bad since she's BS.
  20. Oh, hey! Since we have no choice and BS will be back in S6, does that mean we, at least, might get back the important character analyses in each episode thread with "And Now, Laurel..."? Paging @quarks.
  21. The visual and audio of Dinah and BS having a scream-off just popped into my head and OMG! I hope my tv doesn't short-circuit. I don't really have an opinion about JH and I don't care for Dinah, but I do hope she stays if we really have to have KC BS-ing her way into S6. If BS stays evil, maybe I can tolerate her. Not sure I'll be able to stomach any redemption arcs or Oliver being a dummy about it.
  22. Just heard (from my bud who called and was ranting about the stupidity of it all) the terrible news so I came straight to this forum for confirmation. Bummer. Someone really needs to come out with all the bts deets about the Arrowverse someday. I really don't understand why. I'm almost contemplating buying tickets to WonderCon just so I can have the chance to politely ask Guggue wtf is happening.
  23. Damn. The bloodthirstyness of this episode kinda carried over to this thread, huh? Lol. Also, that filter makes his Bratva tattoo look like it was made with a sharpie. Was Prommy using blunted arrows when he made that cluster shot at Oliver's shoulder? Because if his arrows were sharp enough, 3 of them totally would've shredded Oliver's pectoral muscles and likely would've hit the brachial plexus or, even, the brachial artery since it was so close to that area. His whole right arm would've then be pretty useless. Or he'd be bleeding out. But his wound looks kinda shallow. I'm guessing Prommy used blunted arrows, not to harm irreparably, but to inflict more pain for Oliver? And then the burning of his left pec... I can't even imagine the excruciating pain, not to mention, the smell, of actual burnt flesh. Man. No wonder Felicity and Diggle couldn't take their eyes off Oliver's chest when he came back. As much as I think SA could've played Oliver a little bit more wounded in the aftermath (seriously, he just sprung up from the floor like a jack-in-the-box once he came to), the horror on Diggle and, especially, Felicity's faces really sold that last scene. Great work all around for the actors.
