  1. So many shows that I watch are ending this year. Arrow (after Emily/Felicity leaves, I'm done. No s8 for me unless she's guest starring), iZombie, Elementary, Veep, Game of Thrones, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend... I'm sad. What am I supposed to do now? Go outside?!
  2. I know they already have the set-up for Felicity (and Oliver) leaving Star City in present time but what will they do with Felicity in the future? Is she gonna sacrifice herself for her kids ala Moira? I don't want it. I don't want this. Can they just say Felicity's leaving to go wherever in the future, too? Just keep her off-screen while Mia and Will and Connor have their adventures?
  3. I just got online today and this news was the first thing I saw. I'm sad. I'm happy for her that she got to decide when to leave but I was really hoping she could stick it out for the last 10 of s8. I wish her the best with whatever she chooses to do next but I'm still sad. (I'm also just a tiny tad bit annoyed and kinda wish this show just ended in s7 since I doubt anything's gonna change their depressing future during s8, anyway, 'cause Felicity will be gone.)
  4. Me, when the show confirmed that yes, Rene is still a certified dummy, who would absolutely sell out his friends for his purposes, in the future:
  5. I figured it was gonna be one of the al Ghuls training Mia as she grew up. Someone had to ('cause Oliver's dead/vanished) and they had to have archery skills. I liked the sequence with Nyssa training her. And Mia's huge fight sequence was awesome, too. The billowy coat thing at the end was cool. Okay, I know Felicity kept a lot from her but Mia is such a drama Queen. Lol. Totally like his dad. It was a really nice touch to confirm that Felicity was Will's angel investor all this time, though. I teared a little at their reunion hug. And I'm not going to say I did a little dance when they showed Felicity was still alive in the future (even though we all knew she would be and I totally did a jig) but it was just so nice to see her future self. I'm, also, totally going to take Felicity's old make-up being the best one and most realistic of people at 50 or so years old as a slight against NTA, even though I know it isn't and it's just the Arrow make-up team going overboard with their initial aging make-ups. Lol. Felicity truly is that unproblematic fave who barely ages a day after 20 years, huh? Love that. Still wtf at that Glades wall being a literal a Game of Thrones-like wall. Lmao. How the hell did they construct that shit and why tf did they waste all that money instead of investing in smart tech, like they were already doing with Archer?! Connor Hawke is a cutie. And I am interested at this Mia and Connor actually being a thing thing. That whole episode felt like a soft pilot and I think I might be into it. We'll see. It is so cool that Oliver's non-canon romance with Felicity, a supposed-to-be one-episode guest star, spawned a literal child who might lead the spin-off, though. Anyways, y'all! Mia not being into comics? I laughed.
  6. I'm good with this. I just want Oliver, Felicity, Mia, and William to be happy and have reat things instead of the shit future we've been watching. They deserve to be rewarded for all that they went through.
  7. She probably knows. I mean, Stephen was the one to reveal it. I'm both sad and relieved, like most of you guys, that the show is ending. I've just been feeling like I've been going through the motions when it comes to this show more and more. And I've sorta noticed some actors starting to phone it in, too. I wonder if they'll announce it this year or after Arrow's end in S8 that Kat and legacy OTA might be going on to a spinoff? I hope old Dinah isn't included in that spinoff, if it happens.
  8. Apart from how cute William and Mia are as siblings, I just don't understand what the hell is going on in the future. Lol. Does anyone understand it? Every reveal is just so weird and whut-inducing. We finally had some good OTA moments and Diaz is D E A D. Yay! The short Olicity moments we got were wonderful. I wanted the pregnancy reveal to be longer and maybe with a kiss in there somewhere but that was cute and sweet and lovely, all the same. Aww. When Felicity and Oliver said "our children":
  9. Kinda looks like either Keith David or Ernie Hudson.
  10. There are so many canaries, I really wouldn't know which one they'd be referring to as the "lost" one, honestly. There's Sara, Dinah, technically Laurel's BS, future Zoe? Who is it??! Lmao! That character sucks in every iteration, though, so at least that's consistent. It would be funny if Laurel completes her redemption and dies in 7x18 making her the "lost" canary, though. BS is not anywhere in the ff so she's probably dead.
  11. Me, coming back to the fandom because we have a child!!!:
  12. I can see it, too, right on the edge. Sorry @Mellowyellow. That sucks that the jeweler lied to you. It's kinda reminding me of the mosquito trapped in that amber that was on the cane of Dr. Hammond in Jurassic Park, though.
  13. LISTEN!!! I started suspecting that spoiler during Luke's episode (episode 4) when he kept talking about how he felt and then I got to episode 5 and we definitively found out what happened and I was sobbing! I was just full on sobbing throughout episodes 5 and 6 with squeaks of surprise when creepy stuff happened. I like watching horror movies and scaring myself silly but, honestly, I almost didn't care about the scary/creepy stuff in the show. It was the family drama that seriously hooked me and compelled me to finish the entire thing in one sitting. That was a productive Saturday. Heh. @bijoux and @tennisgurl, I really hope you watch it. It's seriously one of the best shows I've seen in a long time.
  14. Has anyone seen The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix? Because, OMG! It is such a good show! I haven't been as affected and emotional over a show as I was with this one in quite a while. I cried at least once in almost every episode. Heh. The acting is great and the direction and cinematography is superb. The character development is fantastic. It's really, really good! If you don't like horror, please don't let the title and trailers put you off. It is creepy in some parts and there are jump scares and it very much has supernatural aspects but it's, honestly, really a family drama that wonderfully shows the complexities of how the events in that house led to such grief, trauma, heartbreak, and fractured the Crain family as much as it did. I loved it.
  15. It's because there's another language that is dominant in the episode so the subtitles should be part of it and you probably won't need closed captions. (But, personally, CCs are always good to put on 'cause I miss stuff, sometimes.) It's for the majority of Episode 5 (Akane no Mai), some of Episode 6 (Phase Space), and the majority of Episode 8 (Kiksuya). The episodes are about those characters and their stories/how it connects everything to Westworld/Delos.
  16. S2 isn't extra confusing. It's just Westworld confusing. Heh. It starts off a little puzzling but you'll get it, after a while, with all the timelines, just like in s1. I hope you don't mind subtitles because some of the best episodes of s2, so far, have been the ones that are about 90% subtitles!
  17. Watch Westworld @Mellowyellow! Don't be deterred by its constant need to screw with its viewers' brains! Lol. But, really, it is a great show with an interesting concept and usually fantastic acting, writing, directing, cinematography, effects, etc. Also, avoid spoilers and let the show tell you things as you go along. I don't read any spoilers/theories and any other online discussion about it, until the end of the season, 'cause I feel like the not knowing enhances my viewing experience more. I find it fun when my mind gets blown. It's great to binge-watch, actually, since the weekly wait for each new episode kind of makes me nutty.
  18. Me, voting for Emily because she asked us to: I know that my votes won't really matter because the TCAs are rigged, and whoever shows up to the ceremony or whichever studio pays for it will probably win, but ever since Emily's been surprisingly interactive about the TCAs on her social media, I promised to myself that I'll try to vote 10 times every day for her on that website. Lol.
  19. Nooo! Why not?!? I need HBO to be there so I can watch the Westworld panel and they can explain to me WTF is happening on that show. I'm beginning to understand so many things with each new episode but also I'm confused by a lot of things with each new episode. Heh.
  20. JH has played BC for more episodes than KC so far, and CL was a better BC than both of them, IMO. But I guess you can't fault her for "just putting it out there to the universe." ? Reach for those stars, girl! Anyway, she hasn't really been the BC for 6 years. She was BC for, like, a year and half (middle of s3 through 3/4 of s4) and then she died, was gone for a while then came back as a villain (not even an actual real villain, though, more like the lackey of the "big bads"). But when did actual show facts ever matter to KC's headcanons?
  21. I hope it's Felicity who gets to shave their precious comic canon goatee. I hope they do something ala that Pacey and Joey shaving scene from Dawson's Creek. And then it leads to a baby-making scene worthy of the 9pm hour!
  22. My biggest laugh of the night was when I realized that Curtis got bupkus on the goodbye front. LMAO! He's so damn useless, I don't know why he's still around. But then I realized that if Watson hadn't said that the FBI transport was late, Felicity wouldn't have gotten a goodbye from Oliver, too. Whether or not Watson was fibbing to give Felicity and William a little bit of time talk to Oliver in the holding room, I don't know. But it makes me angry that Guggenheim/Mericle couldn't even let Oliver and Felicity have a proper goodbye scene and yet they had all the time in the world to let Oliver apologize to almost everyone else (for everything that's not his fault, at all). I'm so, so annoyed. Do y'all feel like Guggenheim and Mericle were really trying to fuck everyone over with this finale? This season sucked but I always hoped they could turn things around before the hiatus. I know this is Arrow and I really should've known better but hope springs eternal in the human breast and all that... If Marc and Wendy really torched this finale because they weren't continuing on with the show then, man, that is so petty. Even if they didn't mean to write it that way and this was really the story that they could, to the very best of their abilities, come up with then damn. They are terrible at this!
  23. I... don't understand this finale. I'm trying to make sense of it but my brain's about to break trying to rationalize a lot of the things everyone has already brought up. No, actually, I don't understand this entire season. I don't understand why the noobs are still here and why BS is still here. It's all so... Dumb. And stupid. And dumb. The only good thing that happened and that made sense was Oliver and Felicity's marriage. I just don't understand why the FBI would put their best chance at catching a supposedly huge not really, he's like, hobbit-sized criminal, who got an entire damn city under his control, in Super Max when the 3-D afficionado is still roaming the streets freely. Why is he still alive? Why is this dude the one villain that this show decided could best Oliver, Diggle, and the FBI? And how the f*ck is he both mumbly and shouty at the same damn time?!?
  24. Yaaaasssss!!! Put it on back-to-back-to-back with The Good Place and Superstore!
  25. I wonder what this will mean for Lauren's character on TWD. Will Maggie just get killed off in the premiere of S9? That'd be weird since the final episode of S8 seemed to be establishing a big plotline with her, Daryl and Jesus. Kinda think TWD has gone on too long, anyway. So many boring, filler episodes.
