Biden is speaking tonight at 7pm Central. As of now, it doesn't look like Fox is airing it but ABC, NBC, and CBS are. Xfinity only has him scheduled for 15 minutes though so everything tonight may be delayed.

Another quitter, wonderful. Dee really got hung out to dry on that vote though. Bruce can go at any time for me. The emotions were way over the top when he realized he was on the same beach as last time (for 12 hours). Emily definitely ended up in the best position of her former tribe mates. Although, for a minute, I thought the interviews were setting her up as the boot this week. She's turning into one of my favorites this season. I'm curious about the swap and if it is always a 100% certainty. If the tribes were 5/5/5 instead of 6/6/3, would there still have been a swap? What was the first thing Dee pulled out of Sean's bag? It looked like it was the top of the team immunity idol but why would he have had it in his bag? During the immunity challenge Julie had something fairly large on her back under her shirt. At first I though it might have been a microphone pack but it seemed too big for that and nobody else had one anyway. Anyone know what it was?

I know they’re doing good looking for people who are missing but we’re just supposed to overlook it when Gabi and her team illegally detain and threaten people? Then Trent shows up and he’s like “you better listen to her”?

Chicago’s Finest sucks. First the fake rock paper scissors and then putting Melissa in the box after she said she was afraid of snakes. There was zero reason to put her in the box except to be mean, there was no advantage to it.

With Cassidy gone. I don’t really care about this season anymore. Glad to see crybaby Josh gone though. Go Chris for the men and is there any way none of the women finish? Also, what’s the point of doing hall brawl before a puzzle? Maybe you get an extra second to work on the puzzle?

I think Christina let Melissa off very easy for lying to her. If it was me, I would have dumped every single bag instead of just one. But then Melissa says she was taking one for the team because she didn't use her punishment pass? Has lying ever gone uncaught in Hell's Kitchen? Gordon obviously doesn't watch any American football. Victor Cruz is an "NFL Legend"? Gordon needs to go punch the writers for making him say that.

I’m a little confused. Some of the racers read the clue and said “find Phil at the mat” but some of them said “pit stop”. Did they just subconsciously say “pit stop” even though it wasn’t in the clue? I’m not sure I like the double legs. It seems like a cop out when they say no non-eliminations but then the racers get to the mat and Phil says keep going.

Sabiyah outplayed herself. I just don’t understand why on day 3 or 4 you’re voting someone out because you don’t want to sit with them at the final. There or still so much game to be played.

I’ve noticed for a few episodes now that when Cory and Mina are in the car together he doesn’t look at her when talking or even at the camera. He stares out the window and talks. That’s kinda weird.

Kitchen Nightmares (US) - General Discussion
KeithJ replied to Kromm's topic in Kitchen Nightmares (US)
When I go to a restaurant I don’t really want anyone coming to my table to small talk. The server coming and doing their job is enough. A manager or someone stopping by after we got our food and making sure everything is ok is fine but anything more than that is annoying to me.- 516 replies

So Daryl is in this whole thing because he punched a guy that killed a kid that Daryl pretty much had a single interaction with when he showed him how to chop wood? Then we get stupid kid cutting the boat loose for “reasons”. Laurent hasn’t had any issues with his bag until they hear a truck coming (which just happens to be the bad guys) and then he drops his shit all over the road? They still have plenty of time to go and pick it up too but nope. Let’s just leave it there. Isabel gets a note from a “friend” while she is being held captive / plaything? This friend of hers somehow has connections in Quinn’s organization? Did Carol say “he came back” or was the transmission breaking up (conveniently when Carol was speaking the name)? And, if it is Rick, why wouldn’t she lead with that?

I pretty much dislike everyone left except Chris and Cassidy (maybe I just like the underdog I guess). I didn’t quite understand Michaela’s argument when Michelle said she was pushing for a girls night. Michaela said she was pushing for a girls night before the nominations? That’s still pushing for girls night isn’t it?

Did the later teams at the Lotus challenge receive a little extra help? When the first teams were getting graded, I didn't think the locals were telling them what was wrong with their arrangements, they just said they didn't pass. Eventually the locals started telling the contestants what was wrong with them.

9 pairs of everyday people scramble over rugged terrain, attempt stomach-churning challenges and answer questions for a chance to win up to £1 million each. Meanwhile, Brian Cox calls the shots as The Controller. Will they rise to the challenge, or fold like a pack of cards in this true test of intelligence, endurance and heroism. Looks interesting. I'll probably give it a shot.

Did I miss something? Why is everyone’s knees completely torn up?

Yeah but, as in most dramas, when Lacey finds out about it (and we know she will), it will temporarily destroy her relationship with Gabi. My wife pretty much said the same thing.

S01.E08: Part Eight - The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord
KeithJ replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Ahsoka
I rewatched Rebels before Ahsoka was released and I forgot just how many episodes she was actually in. It was a good amount over the first two seasons. -
S01.E08: Part Eight - The Jedi, The Witch, and The Warlord
KeithJ replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Ahsoka
Overall, I enjoyed the series but the finale was a letdown. I'm not even sure where to begin (so these thoughts are probably gonna be all over the place): Ezra: It's great that he built a new lightsaber but where did he get the crystal? Ahsoka just has extra laying around her ship? How did he manage to steal a shuttle, get off Thrawn's ship, and then not have Thrawn send fighters after him. Then, how did he know where the fleet was? On top of that, during the whole flight to the fleet, he didn't once think to take the trooper armor off? And, for arguments sake, let's say he was naked under the armor, there was zero reason for him to exit the shuttle with the helmet on. Baylan: Now stranded in Lord of the Rings territory. Sadly, with Ray Stevenson's passing, I'm not sure where they can go with this now unless they recast Baylan. Shin: She went back to get her army (or whatever they are). Who are they anyway (either I don't remember or they didn't say). Are those some of Thrawn's troops? Are they natives of the planet? Morgan Elsbeth / Nightsisters: Now we have Star Wars meets The Walking Dead. I know Nightsister zombies have been around a long time but this just felt weird. After Morgan re-joined the Nightsisters she's just ok with Thrawn leaving her behind? I'm not sure I would have been accomodating. Sabine: Sabine finally uses the Force under great duress but then she can just flip Ezra onto Thrawn's ship like she's been using the Force forever? I'll have to go back and watch but wasn't her helmet lost back on the map planet? Did Ahsoka bring it with her? Did Sabine sense Anakin at the end or something else? Not really sure why she would. Ahsoka: One of her lightsabers is now gone but I guess she'll just be able to build another since her ship seems to have a lightsaber factory on it. -
We watched this since not much else is on. It was ok. The bonus round though was a little similar to Press Your Luck.

Not only that, he managed to get away from Daryl in the tunnels but then he tripped / fell for some reason?
-
It feels like everyone except maybe two or three people (Cassidy, Chris, Michelle) are in a single big alliance. I can't wait to see what happens when they have to start turning on each other.
-
The pyramids were built by aliens and they're batteries for? Then pretty much the whole tribe agreed except Emily?!? Where do they find these people?
-
I have to agree with this. Another character / droid would have been absolutely fine delivering the message. We know this is Star Wars, we don't need to be told that.
-
But still not a very good minefield. Even after the space whales left, Ahsoka had no problem getting through it.
