  1. My first thought was awww, another wheelchair Jimmy. And then my second thought was maybe they'll use tech to help him become a superhero like MANTIS from that old TV Show. Here's a blurb about it: A paralyzed African-American scientist builds a powerful exo-skeleton in order to walk again, and uses his new abilities to fight crime. Then again they just might use this to write him off... Loved the "white folks stuff" line.
  2. I liked when they introduced Cecil, but why are they making her into such a ditz? First that trial and now this. Why would anyone have to explain to her why people might not be thrilled she can read their every thought? Why isn't she more worried or concerned about having this power? Is her child a meta and it's power is to drain the brain cells of the person in closest proximity to them? All I want is for the Warden to reveal that his real name is Jubal Early. Dr. Simon Tam : So you're a bounty hunter. Jubal Early : No, that ain't it at all. Dr. Simon Tam : Then what are you? Jubal Early : I'm a bounty hunter.
  3. I hope the Arrowverse stays far away from this show. I saw more smart, reasonable and competent people on one episode of this show then I've seen in all the years of Arrowverse shows combined. Also Black Lightning got a shout out on ESPN's SportsNation today!
  4. Loving this show. Great acting, realistic dialogue and character interaction. I love the family dynamic they have. They called each other out on unwise actions but always had each other's back. Lala was way scarier than Tobias. I just kept waiting for Tobias to start singing "I'm a Classic man". Also when Lala first told Jefferson to say his name I though Jefferson said Allah which actually made more sense than Lala to me. Finding out his name was Lala was a bit of a let down. A small sample size, but a very smart show so far. I hope the CW doesn't dumb it down.
  5. Whatever, now Barry doesn't want people to know he's The Flash. As others have said Marlize just being able to say "Yeah my hubby was fine with my hot young boy toy. Promise!" and Cecil not being able to bring it with better questions on that front was horrible. There is no way a jury should have convicted him after that piece of evidence. I like the way the prosecuting lawyer and judge looked incredulous when Cecil said the defense rests. They almost looked like they wanted to give her help because she was just sorry. What the judge said about that being the most heinous crime he's ever seen or whatever was dumb. I know they just needed that to juxtapose it with Singh's speech but still it was over the top. Even if the Jury convicted Barry, as a judge of sound mind there is no way he should have thought there was no reasonable doubt. If they weren't going to even try they shouldn't have shown the trial. Also I wish they would try to find out more about Dominic. It sucks that he got the Get Out treatment and no one's trying to find out about his real life or if the real Dominic is still in there somewhere. Bump Barry going to a prison he can leave anytime he wants. Someone needs to find some justice for Dominic(unless they did this in the first 15 minutes of the show which I missed).
  6. So glad Killjoys is back. Excellent episode. Great to see Fancy and his fancy toys. Awesome snark and butt kicking. I miss Duch and Johnny together, I hope they aren't apart too long. Poor Dutch. She has her new crew but they're not johnny. How many times must she have watched that message? D'avin again with the sleeper agentness...I guess he's two faced literally this time around.
  7. Watched the Flash crossover musical event...So they're really going with this tru wuv thing for Kara and Mon-el huh? That's unfortunate. The romantic relationships on this show suck. I'm glad I stopped watching when they destroyed my Alex and J'onn J'onzz lovin' heart.

Glad they didn't drag out the Barry and Iris stuff. I like musicals and I like when TV shows do musicals, I did not like this. I didn't enjoy the crossover. One of the reasons I stopped watching Supergirl was the lame CWed relationship between Kara and Mon-el. Didn't like having to see it while watching The Flash. I really miss seeing J'onn so that was the only crossover plus for me.
  9. I remembered him from One Tree Hill. Chris Keller's work here is done! This show is really good it's my favorite out of all the new network shows this year. I love Ginny and Mike as just friends or as something more. They have amazing chemistry. I don't like how Shady they're making Will. Having him be impulsive and naive would be fine but I don't want he and Ginny's relationship to take a hit if he ends up being a liar.
  10. As for Randall and the light, Kevin has been shown to often be inconsiderate. I’m sure there were many a time that he kept Randall up late while he was doing something he wanted to do in their room. Randall probably just let it go. But Kevin the drama king is probably griping over one of the few times Randall has done this. I didn't infer from the light scene and one other that Rebecca is horrible, never showed Kevin any love or attention and always took Randall's side. She just seemed like a mom who was tired of her kids arguing. Also Rebecca no doubt went to all of Kevin’s games. Games that until recently were all about him and not Randall. And seriously, he got away with calling his brother Webster with no more than a small reprimand. Kevin just seemed so set on being antagonistic towards his brother. I actually think it's kind of sad that Rebecca had to keep pointing out to Kevin when Randall was being considerate. It's not like she was trying to show Kevin up it was like she was trying to sell Kevin on his brother, like Randall was a pair of shoes. "See Kevin, see how nice and comfy Randall is and how easy he is to walk in? Come on try him out. I bet you'll really like him!" It's too bad so many years were wasted but it's good that it seems like they're going to begin to try to work on their relationship. Beth is awesome, and Kate's storyline is annoying.
  11. I don't like how Kara was all on Mon-El's case about being a hero. Let him be who he wants to be. They are being so bogus to Jimmy. I was pretty much only here for the Alex/Jonn friendship(maybe more) and that seems to be out the window so...
  12. I totally thought that was where they were going to go. I was like nooooo....So I'm glad it just turned out be that his Dad abandoned him and loved his other children more... Hate that they had Ginny have a nude photo scandal. Glad it seemed minor and I hope it's over with. Mark Consuelos was really good this episode. Mike with the new catcher was really good. Right amount of side eye along with camaraderie. Ginny being so impressed with her new cutter and no one else caring was funny. I enjoyed her hanging out with her manager.
  13. I watched about half of this episode, realized Hank wasn't going to show up and turned it off. Mechad is a really good actor so what the writers keep doing to him is garbage. I like the actor that plays Mon-El and even like how he's portraying what they're giving him but they can do better. There is no way he should be "hiding out" at Catco. Lena seems like a close talker. Alex and Maggie, just no. So annoyed by how Dawson's Creek Alex is acting.
  14. Every time Kara talked to Mon-El the MAD TV song Pretty White Kids with Problems kept running through my head. This show is so on the CW. Thank goodness he was able to hit up a Buckle before before trying to send a satellite signal into space. I like the friendship James and Kara have right now. This is how they should have written them from the beginning and all that wishy washy Lucy stuff should have never happened. I like the alien bar but I think the DEO should have known about it. Loved J'onn's annoyance/horror over Kara asking him about her hair. I don't care who else they're introducing on to the show J'onn and Alex are the only ship I have on this show and I'm keeping it. Winn might as well just grow his hair out and start wearing T-shirts all the time.
  15. From what they showed of William he was a good man who made some serious mistakes in his life. But even as a drug addict whom abandoned his child, he apparently still wanted what was best for his child. After fighting a lot of his demons I don't have a problem with them showing that he's still a good man. I like that they showed Randall feeling a bit apprehensive at the play. Honestly he'll never know how many people were laughing and whispering at Snow white being black and how many were laughing and whispering because the kids were cute. Unfortunately, in real life there would no doubt be both of each in the audience.
