  1. Thank you for sharing this. I would have missed it. I love Dorinda's house...not because I love all of her decorating choices - I don't - but I do believe that your home should be exactly how you want it to be. Trends and the style du jour be damned, Dorinda has appointed her home just the way she wants it, and I applaud that.
  2. I agree with all of the above. I was beginning to think I was the only one who saw things this way. Kate has treated most of her crew as badly or worse (except for the physical stuff) than she was treated this season. I cry no tears for her. Maybe it's good for her to see how it feels to be the one "everyone hates." She did it to Amy, Jenn, Rocky, Bruno, Leon, and, most egregiously, Caroline. She's a mean bully who, as it turns out, can dish it out but cannot take it. As for all the Ashton hate, I understand that he acted inappropriately. I think he would be the first one to agree with that, but I believe he will work hard to change his behavior and never let that happen again. I don't think he's a bad guy. He's immaturely competitive when it comes to women. He was trying to beat Tanner to Kate and was rebuffed, twice. Now, the truly bad person in that group, imo, is Tanner. He is gross. As soon as he got wind that Simone had a crush on him, he took full advantage knowing full well he had absolutely no interest in her. He took what he could get and then dumped her, keeping his eye on the real "prize" (in his twisted mind), Kate. Not to mention his jokes about getting "girls" pregnant. He's repulsive. And, as for Ryleigh, she may be a hard worker, but I cannot think of any workplace where her kind of attitude and disrespect for authority would be tolerated, period. I don't think being female even enters into it. It is easier for someone to do the work themselves than to engage with Ryleigh long enough to get her to do it. You don't keep a job that way. I feel for her because that huge chip on her shoulder comes from somewhere and it's probably a sad or infuriating story, but she needs to get it under control or she is going to have very limited success with other people, including bosses and co-workers. I'm rooting for her.
  3. I don't understand Kathryn's sense of fashion. Admittedly, she makes many, many fashion/make up/hair mistakes, but then, once in a while, she gets it right and knocks it out of the park. The first Caroline Day ball, for instance. Also, last season, when she went to Thomas' house one evening, in that cream cape and khaki slim-fit pants, she looked like a million bucks. I thought she looked amazing at the polo match last season as well. I think, if she would just stop trying so hard, she would be stunning. Her obvious insecurity and self-consciousness, though, will probably keep that from happening for some time yet.
  4. And it's so ironic, because, in the eternal words of Rachael Green (tm Friends), they both "lift right out." Neither of them have any real entanglements or interesting relationships with the rest of the cast. Shep is just sad to watch, and I am way over all Cameron's judgment of others and endless whining about her own cushy, perfect life. For all she's gone through, Kathryn should be the highest paid member of that cast. She is the star of this show, for better or for worse.
  5. In the very last moments of the show, after Kathryn delivers here fantastic line about her coat tails being about worn out and walks away, Eliza says something like, "Okay then," to Whitney and then winks. Did anyone else see that? She winks with her left eye, so you don't catch it right away, but if you didn't see it, look for it next time. I was starting to soften toward Whitney a bit, but now my guard is back up. Looks like he's EPing hard again, lining Eliza up to be the next one to go at Kathryn.
  6. Agree and co-sign to ALL this. I'm especially excited to see that we share the same thoughts re Craig & Naomi. I think Craig is being honest about getting over Naomi and is right that Naomi is still not squared away. I thought that was kind of obvious at Shep's bbq last season and has continued from there. I think Naomi got so ugly with Craig that he got to a place of resentment and true dislike toward her. That lent to Craig getting over Naomi easier than Naomi got over Craig. Once Craig got away from Naomi, I think Naomi realized that Craig is kind, true, and attractive to other women - things she managed to forget while they were together. Therefore, Naomi has a lot more unresolved feelings for Craig than Craig does for Naomi. Looks to me like Smug, Belittling Naomi may be in for some karma because Metul seems pretty quick with put-downs for Naomi. I also agree whole-heartedly about Shep. Shep is deteriorating into a bitter, beer-bellied man-child who is so embarrassingly insecure about and jealous of Craig it is ugly to behold. Sure, Craig may be quirky in his unabashed love of sewing, but at least he is true to himself and secure enough in himself to share that. What has Shep done, tried, or created while on this show? His life is a'shambles, and he knows it.
  7. I agree. And I think that Kathryn was uncomfortable in her dress and that was why she kept fidgeting. She seemed self-conscious about how she was supposed to sit, how much leg to show, etc. I think the dress was a poor choice. She was obviously uncomfortable.
  8. I think the opposite. Rinna is the kid to throw a rock through the school window and stand there in the middle of the street bare-assed mooning you until you haul her into the principal's office where she spits on the floor while she waits.
  9. Please stop. You can say a lot of things about LVP, but she loves this little dog and provides him a wonderful life. Your harsh criticism and judgment all while referring to Giggy as "it" really falls flat.
  10. I could believe this because Dorit still does not seem to really believe she did anything wrong... So I could see her selling the story thinking she was playing her part in the LVP takedown because that's what the biddies keep telling her. Dorit is no mental giant. Then again, I can't shake the feeling it was Rinna.
  11. And, "honest", as in, "I'm just being honest." 🙄 Methinks we'll all be skinny dipping with the VPRules cast by the end of the show. 🥂🥂🥂
  12. Agreeing with all this, but I would like to nominate Kathryn Edwards to return, also. She stuck up for LVP and bugged the crap out of Erika - a two-fer! She was blunt and tough, something sorely needed in this cast.
  13. I find Camille to be kind of an enigma. I love Camille 2.0. She's her own woman with no inherent ax to grind. She seems to dip in and out of the HW drama as she pleases without getting too mired down in it. I am always struck by Camille's body language, too. When she hugs someone, she closes her eyes and really draws them close. That suggests genuineness to me. The body language in this photo is clear, too. But, wow, I can't totally dismiss or forget season 1 Camille. She was one haughty, mean bitch. This is why I will never understand why they don't bring her on as a full time HW. She must be resistant to it, herself . Too bad. I would love to see her back.
  14. For his sake, I hope so. I know John is not everyone's cup of tea, but everyone deserves respect from the person they're in a relationship with. She treats him like a dog and, in that regard, I feel bad for him.
  15. I happen to think LVP is truly a beauty. I will say that she reads a little older than she really is, but, honestly that is a trade I would be willing to make. Honestly, most of the cast are very attractive with the exception of Rinna, who I think has a very harsh look that she has worsened with her choice of enhancements, and Teddi who, imo, is quite average looking. Erika has a great face for makeup and made up properly she can be a knockout. Kyle is very attractive but better stop with the enhancements now because she is teetering on the edge. Dorit... I can't be objective anymore because she is a soulless puppy dumper, but I used to think she was pretty. All that said, if I had my pick of who to look like, I would choose LVP. I just think she has a gorgeous face.
  16. I can understand why Kyle's sisters wouldn't want a show like that to be made whether it's intended to be kind, flattering, "inspired by," or whatever else. It just makes their childhood, upbringing, family, etc. fodder for debate, curiosity, and criticism. I know I wouldn't like my family being brought to the American market for entertainment. Maybe they couldn't stop Kyle, but they didn't have to like it.
  17. Um, ouch. I was with you until that comment about Max. But Teddi does seem to have this effect on people. -sigh- I miss the days of tea parties in the garden...
  18. Agreed, NeuroChick, and I wish that went for the rest of the cast as well. I'm just saying that I think, in LVP's state of mind, this was real life for her, this really is how she handled it. She told Bravo she wasn't into it this year and asked for this year off. They denied her that, and now we're seeing the results... LVP is not up to it, and these bitches sense it and have moved in for the kill. That's what makes this season so hard to watch, at least for me.
  19. I gotta say, I fell for that in Dorit's first season. I felt bad for her re: pantygate. In my defense, I couldn't shake the fact that Kyle encouraged her ("Oh please do it when I'm there so I can see her reaction!") and I recoil when Erika gets confrontational with anyone because I can't stand her. You're absolutely right, though, and you spotted it much quicker than I did.
  20. She did. She and Ken had a scene with Dorit and PK. There was obvious tension between all of them. Both Ken and Lisa told them that they did the wrong thing. PK was obviously annoyed throughout the entire scene but ultimately conceded that the dog should have been returned to VPD. The couples both agreed to move on after that. It's amazing to me that the big gripe about LVP is that she holds a grudge (another beaut set forth by everyone's good friend, Kyle), but now, in this instance, now everybody's mad that LVP wasn't carrying a grudge against Dorit long enough or, better yet, that she was mad at Dorit but not acting out about it enough. 🙄 Have you ever had someone do something so heinous to you that you just close off? At some point, you just numb off to that person and you can't even muster enough passion to really respond to them properly. That's what I think this dog situation did to LVP regarding Dorit. Add in LVP's personal grief and everything else going on and I just think LVP and Ken decided to move on from PK and Dorit; they just decided to do it quietly rather than light them up over it. I believe part of the reason for that was the potential impact publicity of this issue could have on their dog charity/rescue. Their only concern was with regard to their dog charity. Hence LVP's quip, "I don't care...... Just get the dog back" I think that was an honest, uncalculated utterance. LVP cared about the dog and her dog charity coming out of all this and that's it. It goes back to the conversation LVP tried to have with Kyle on the balcony. I think the loss of her brother and her subsequent grief thrust LVP, for this season anyway, into real life (as opposed to reality tv) and that was the prism through which she was seeing everything at this time.
  21. And there goes simpleton Kyle again. Just because her show got canceled, it doesn't negate the fact that Kyle traded on their family's memories and secrets in order to cash in. I can't believe Kyle thinks this should all be okay with her sisters now simply because she failed with her show. Does anyone know if that other series of hers (Glass Houses?) is still going forward?
  22. This is exactly right and something that has always confounded me, too. The criticism of this particular incarnation of RHs is that they are overly image conscious. I think your examples above prove that. They downright over think it and sabotage themselves over it.
  23. Imagine that dastardly LVP, going out for dinner with the new castmate. Tsk tsk. C'mon now. I still remember Brandi's entry to the show. The Richards sisters attacked her at game night. Brandi got fed up and fought back. Next thing you know, Brandi is persona non grata courtesy of the lovely Vyle Kyle. LVP wasn't at game night, but she took Kyle's word for everything and told Brandi that she needed to apologize. Only later did LVP get the full picture of what went on at game night. LVP never made that mistake again. After that, she makes up her own mind about people, much to Kyle's chagrin. The way I have seen it, LVP always gives the new girls a chance.
  24. Thanks for this. I have stopped watching the show, but of course I am here for the comments. I agree completely with your reading of the situation and have thought this all along. It's just getting maddening how twisted and tortured this whole thing has gotten. And, as far as the scene with Camille confronting Taylor way back when, LVP is right there with her, adding to her comments. I don't see all this stealthy duplicity. She agreed with Camille and she backed her up.... While Kyle sat there deciding which side to play, again.
  25. Did anyone spot the art work hanging in B's rental? She bought "The Runaway Bride" (can't remember the artist's name) painting for Jason as a wedding gift in an episode of Bethenny Getting Married. I can't believe she still has it.
