  1. Yeah, the ending was bittersweet for both of them - bitter for Dean because he didn‘t got the opportunity to live and explore the chuck-less world, and for Sam because he obviously couldn‘t fully enjoy his longer live without Dean. And sweet because of the reunion in heaven. But I would have liked if they would have defeated Chuck some episodes earlier so that we all (the viewers and the Winchesters) could have experienced life after Chuck for some time.
  2. Yeah, but that´s not an unpopular opinion here I think? And this is the "unpopular opinion"-thread, so...
  3. My unpopular opinion is: Episodes can be good even if they don´t contain any Dean worshipping.
  4. Well this was interesting. While I have been watching episodes of all seasons I have been wondering why Sam and Dean always survived enemies who were much more powerful than them. Sure, they were both great hunters, but they had enemies which could have killed them only by looking at them, Sam and Dean should‘t stand a chance. But they have been Chuck‘s favorite show, so he made sure that they would survive everything he throwed at them, or that they always came back from the dead, no matter how impossible ist has been. So, without Chuck, and with bad luck, even the greatest hunter can die while fighting monsters. The world for Sam and Dean suddenly became realistic. I think that‘s the massage of the episode, and it was very nicely done. The scenes were Sam had to live without bis brother were sad, and I had to cry a lot. I liked the music and the reunion in heaven. Though I would have loved to see Cas and Jack, I understand that they weren‘t in this episode. The series begun with only Sam and Dean, so ist ended with just Sam and Dean.
  5. IIRC Alex said that the producers told him that Jack would become a significant character with much screentime because Jared and Jensen wanted more free time for their families. I just don´t know anymore where I read it.
  6. I think Sam and Dean won´t be able to open rifts to other AU worlds, and therefore won´t know if any AU worlds will be restored, so the audience won´t know neither. But I hope that we will see what becomes of heaven. If the writers don´t want Castiel to get to earth again because the show began with the two brothers and should end with the two brothers, than it would be great if Jack transfers him (Cas) to heaven. There he could work on restoring heaven. If Jack leaves Cas in the empty, it would be another plot hole. Jack clearly changed since he became god, though he won´t forget his dad.
  7. But then they would never leave the hamster wheel. Sure, Mary probably would be on earth instead of heaven now. But sooner or later the Winchester family will meet in heaven again. Mary and John are already there, and Sam and Dean will follow someday. And without Chuck, whole humanity is free. I doubt that Mary would trade freedom for humanity for some more years on earth instead of being in heaven with John. I know Mary was a bitch, but she wasn´t that evil.
  8. It‘s like football (or maybe soccer for you): sometimes you have to pass the ball to another player who can shoot the ball into the goal. That doesn‘t mean that you a not a hero. That‘s teamwork. Teamwork has always been important for our four heroes of the show. They are not TEAM free will for nothing.
  9. I hope that Jim will be the one and only OG Bobby, otherwise I wouldn‘t like to see him again.
  10. Exactly! And it was a very smart move, holding out until Jack could absorb enough power to stop Chuck.
  11. Au contraire, this time Dean got the active role as one of the guys who actively let Chuck beat them up!
  12. But Dabb said Sam and Dean won´t be seperated at the end: https://screenrant.com/supernatural-season-15-sam-dean-together-ending-confirmed/
  13. Yeah, I agree. I think Mary has been a horrible mother since she came back from the dead, but people tend to forgive easier when it´s family. But Dean considers Cas and Jack as familiy too, so he will forgive them too. At least I think so! And yes, it was weired that Sam joined too. I must say, I really hated the BMOL storyline.
  14. Dean shouldn´t also never want to look at Mary too, after she worked together with the enemy who tortured his brother. That´s absolutely a no-go, the Winchesters have killed people for far less.
  15. Finally got the chance to watch this episode. My favorite scenes were Sam and Dean taking their lunch bags from Mrs. B. before "going to work". Their expressions on their faces were priceless. Although I didn´t like that Mrs. B. managed to overpower Jack so easily, it was good that Jack an Dean got the chance to have their talk. I liked that Dean was honest to Jack, his anger is understandable and Jack had to know it. The birthday cake was sweet - I wonder if Jack´s birthday wish becomes true.
