  1. Same here. That type of music is nothing I would listen to but even I've heard that song. The "Daniel Radcliffe" in the Harry Potter category was pretty astounding. I don't like the Harry Potter movies but I've seen several of them anyway because my wife likes them. It seems hard to believe someone still wouldn't know the actor that played Harry Potter. I guess my mother doesn't but she also doesn't have a computer and has never used the Internet. Hard to believe he had no idea who Radcliffe was especially since he works in TV/media.
  2. Give Mary a little more credit, it was a bottle of strawberry wine and a car ride. ;)
  3. Check out this series of articles on Exile in Guyville. http://www.popmatters.com/post/174386-strange-loops-liz-phair-stratford-on-guy/
  4. Yeah, see my other post. That's the wrong link but I can't figure out how to delete it after its embedded in the post or just delete that entire post. Exile in Guyville is a fantastic album.
  5. Ignore the previous post. I can't figure out how to delete it. (And don't click on it if you don't want to hear some NSFW words.) This is what I was attempting to post: I like the Springsteen original but The Band's cover of "Atlantic City" is really good. (Lots of people have covered this song.)
  6. How the fuck do they have all those cameras right in the middle of Abbyland? If they can monitor them that closely why do they act so surprised when so many show up all of a sudden?
  7. I commented in one of the earlier episode threads that this was starting to get Dome-ish. I watched every episode of Under the Dome because it was just so fantastically horrible. I don't think WP has reached that level yet because at least it has slightly better acting and production values. I really don't think there will be a season 3 for it to plunge closer to Dome depth.
  8. There were soldier types guarding the mountain HQ and flying the helicopter last season. No explanation about what happened to them.
  9. One of my all time favorite films. :)
  10. We also heard multiple dogs barking during the Margaret chase. Semi-interesting trivia: This episode was directed by David Lynch's daughter, Jennifer.
  11. I think the one I had said "The Cult 89/90" where the pocket would be and then flames or something down the sleeves. ETA: It had this logo but without "local crew".
  12. I had a black long-sleeve t-shirt from that show. I'm not sure what happened to it and I can't find a picture online.
  13. I was a big fan of The Cult back in the day. I saw them in Birmingham, AL in 1989. Good show but one of the opening bands, Dangerous Toys, was one of the worst bands I've ever seen. ;)
  14. Why wouldn't they have at least 2 people to wake up every 20 years to check on things, etc. At least there would be someone else to talk to about what they were feeling, thoughts, etc.
  15. Yes. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3876369/?ref_=nv_sr_1
  16. I still don't see how the first people that were unfrozen built the entire town and wall before Group A woke up. It would take years and a huge amount of materials and construction equipment. I like Hope Davis so I'm glad she can move on to something better than this.
  17. Why was that guy drinking from a baby bottle?
  18. I think he said they could start building the wall.
  19. Damon Crowley? A few more good tunes: The Cult-"She Sells Sanctuary" 10,000 Maniacs-"Trouble Me" The Replacements-"Within Your Reach" (They reached pretty deep for that one.)
  20. How much did they spend for the music rights? It had a couple of good songs: R.E.M. - "Pop Song 89" The Cure - "Lullaby"
  21. I would really like to see her character have a bigger role.
  22. She'll always be Lauren from The Rules of Attraction to me. She was also good in Wristcutters: A Love Story.
  23. Why is the hospital sometimes full of people but when Hassler needs to wander around the place is deserted?
