I knew it was Halloween, I knew it was "Breakfast at Tiffany's", but I swear it took 15-20 minutes before it hit me: That's her costume!!! Until then it was Elsbeth just decided to dress like Audrey Hepburn because she's Elsbeth๐๐๐๐ In my defense, it was a long day of handing out candy to little monsters๐๐๐

Murdoch Mysteries - General Discussion
mammaM replied to The Crazed Spruce's topic in Murdoch Mysteries
I'm ashamed to admit it took me almost half the show to.figure out what was "wrong" with Brackenreid. Then I yelled at the television, "he has too much face!"๐. And before anyone yells at me, he looks fine, just different. Not a bad episode though I'm already tired of Tucker. I hope that storyline ends sooner rather than later. I like Choi, interesting new addition. -
Ok, first point, the show is set in NYC. They had views of central park. Not to mention plotholes the size of potholes๐ Which brings me to the second point, I'm not watching this for realism. I like Kathy Bates' Maddie, I like the young lawyers, I even like her husband and I like the fact I don't have to think too hard. And I'm hoping, as others have pointed out, that since the flaws are so obvious, maybe the writers have a plan, fingers crossed. All in all, not a bad pilot Here's on to episode 2

"My favorite vegetable is Judy" Aw, Beef, such a way with words๐. I liked how the whole family dropped everything to rescue Judy. And I agree with Alanis, Dorothy is my number one Golden Girl

Isn't Abby in Europe? I almost wish they'd recast that character.I know PP quit the show and I think I read she retired from acting but it would make sense (sort of) "in universe".

๐ถSome day, we'll be together๐ถ๐ถ This has nothing to do with the finale, but I was flipping channels (yes I still do that I'm old) and my favorite YS episode was on. The Nobel Prize on the radio. And I know it was just a massive Easter egg for TBBT but I loved seeing that cast as kids๐ Sheldon's a quark not a neutrino๐

"You let us do the police thing based on evidence, you do the cozy up to the suspect thing. I don't respect it but it works" Best line of the night ๐ Add me to the Molly Price fan club. And in the shallow end of pool, Kaya looked spectacular in that black dress

I hope Quinta has more stories up her sleeve๐, but I do agree with this episode. And honestly, I prefer a season finale like this. I have ranted on other threads that I HATE cliffhangers, hate hate hate. Even if I know the show has been renewed.

The murderer was Andre de Shields (swoon)! been in love with him since the mid-70's. My eleventh birthday, my babysitter got tickets to a new play called The Wiz. And when he appeared on stage with the line ๐ถ"so you wanted to see....the wizard!"๐ถ, blew my little eleven year old brain. I'm 60 now, can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday but I still know all the words to that song๐

" a 48 second head stand" Go Mr. Johnson! And while it was good to finally (FINALLY) see our couple hook up, honestly I would've taken a whole episode of Melissa, Barbara, Jacob, Ava and Mr. Johnson hanging out afterwards๐๐๐๐
-
I thought that also!

Good interview. And did anyone notice that the couch in Sheldon's study is the one from TBBT. Sheldon kept his spot.๐๐

I'm glad about the Captain but now he doesn't like our girl? I'm getting whiplash with this "like the Captain/don't like the captain". And I don't know if anyone else has mentioned, but on directv this is listed as episode 11 and next week is episode 10. Huh?

But that's baby Ceecee's name. I know some people don't care, but I never liked cousins with the same name (even ones so far apart in age)๐

And I thought Missy was written realistically. Teenager, angsty already, of course she's gonna lash out. And I always thought of Missy as (for lack of a better phrase) "the normal twin". There was " the Sheldon way" and with Missy "the normal way". Sheldon shuts down completely over his father's death, Missy lashes out. Maybe two sides of the same coin would be a better analogy.
