Exactly, they were trying to persuade Jinelle to stay a 6th year after all that Jenna drama. I think if someone is drama-free, they'll bend the rule if it exists!

It reminds me of the episode when they were going to be having Football 101 yet they revealed the calendars instead. Surely they could've done that at the end of the session? Kelli was vocal about many of the girls not having a lack of football knowledge yet pushed it aside to reveal who made the calendars. If you give the women the tools, they'll learn. I miss the days of the binders, which seemed to have as much information as humanely possible in!

I've always found the political questions innappropriate too. I'm all in favour of asking for facts (historical and current) but asking about personal opinions on politics shouldn't be allowed. In fairness, they probably wouldn't approve of my opinions anyway (considering Jerry Jones' beliefs)! Then again, it's not your typical job interview because asking about someone's celebrity crush is also very cringey! I'd like to see more of the interviews so we can see what else they ask them.

I'm really surprised at Eden and Taylor. All I can think is that they're too technical and couldn't 'pump up the power' or they've got memory issues. Sad about Ariana too, she's stunning!

So I just managed to watch season 16 all in one day (yes, I'm bored) and I actually really enjoyed the entire season. I'm pretty sure they picked the right 36 in the end! I'd have cut a few earlier than they did (Ashley, Kya, Ava) and kept a couple a bit longer (Bre, Kylie, Presley). I also thought SG should've been switched a bit too (replace Kat and Darian with Jada and Lea). Other than that, I thought it was good to see more interaction between the rookies and vets as well as much more dancing!

"The ball of the foot should be in the middle of the yard line." It's the one thing they show them learning fully every season, even I know it off by heart now!

Latest DCC in motion is Erin. She's such a beautiful lyrical dancer. I appreciate her great technique and how she doesn't need a tonne of tricks to showcase her dancing.

Waaay too many blondes, I'm glad you named them @TheGenuineBeauty because I can't tell them apart yet! Amanda's darker hair makes her stand out a little more too. I wish we got to know a little more about each TCC but I imagine makeovers are a little easier without the cameras everywhere!

Exactly this. We've seen skimpier outfits than Kat's dress. Was Kat's dress interview-appropriate? Probably not, I personally thought it was more ill-fitting than anything on her tiny figure. But we all know their idea of interview attire is more like cocktail party attire!

UK friends, season 13 is on ITVBe starting tomorrow at 7am. They seem to show this season a lot but it's my fave rookie class!

For me, it's the fact that they push this narrative of having 36 of the best dancers in the country when we all know every year, there are a couple who are good but not great dancers but have other strengths. Savannah even struggled in her 2nd year with Tara too but is a great example of having other attributes. She's very pretty, good on appearances and doesn't she come from a military family? That rookie class had a few who weren't necessarily the strongest dancers (Molly, Alexis, Miranda) but all seemed really likeable and apperance-ready. Wasn't it Miranda who Kelli said was a great interviewee in the media segment?

I can't imagine Kelli is a fan of fishnet tights, unless it's for a dance performance! Just get rid of them and Marissa's outfit would be fine. Elli looks super cute in those sequins too.

I don't see Tyra getting cut from SG, she's one of the best rookies they had! I can see all of those getting added as well as Lea and Jada. However, I imagine Rebecca's hip hop lets her down, a bit like it did for Erin. I could also see VK not getting her spot back on SG, it looks like she will have to earn their trust back so maybe a solid season under her belt would get her back on for the season after. I could potentially see Darian, Kaydianna or McKenzie losing their spots. I like them all but none of them particularly excite me when they're dancing pom routines. I love McKenzie in that Fosse jazz style but it's not like they do that often!

I'm 100% fine with these pairings/groups. It's interesting that all will be on SG (I doubt they'll drop any of them) so that's half of SG gone already!

I'm going to hazard a guess that Claire closed solos. She's the last in a group of 6 in the kickline when there's usually 5. I'd say the calibre of kicks has improved too. However, I cannot take my eyes off Jada's beautiful kicks! I've never been her biggest fan (she's good but not great in my eyes) but for her height, her kicks have to be perfect! I'd put her up there with Lacey and Holly P as having some of the best ever! Big fan of Jalyn's costume. That forest green against her paler skin and red hair looks gorgeous!

UK friends, DCC MTT is not on our version of Paramount+ unfortunately. So frustrating that nowhere shows it anymore (apart from the occasional run on ITVBe/ITVPlayer)

Kelee has the most photogenic face, every pic of hers looks gorgeous and natural. The pic of Marissa in the blue bikini doesn't even look like her. What have they done to her face?

Kelcey's bikini top is the skimpiest to me, that must be taped to the max!

It's hard to explain but I think some of their faces and poses don't match. The ones where I love the pose/body, their face doesn't look right and vice versa. Cute pose, too sexy face. Sexy pose, smiley face. These girls are soooo beautiful but it's a mix of weird make-up/lighting, fillers/plumpers and odd facial expressions. My favourite shot is the one of Kat with her eyes shut, purely because it looks a bit more offf-the-cuff. I'm a bit bored of the same poses over and over. Lea, Jessica, Ashlinn and Madeline's 2nd pics are other faves. Kelee looks stunning and natural too. I will admit though I've never been crazy for Christina but she photographs like a dream. I do fear some Bridget flashbacks with a too-tight top though! Also, what on earth is going on with Caroline's hair?!
