Is this Jenn A's choreo? I think she's adapted it from a dance from her prep class. It's much more interesting than her usual choreo. I liked that it's a different style and there's some new moves in there. More of this, please!

I think this is the main reason that she struggled. It was clear that lockdown was incredibly difficult for her and deepy affected her. Whilst Kelli expected her to brush it off and be all extroverted, you could visibly see that something wasn't right. Didn't Kelli say that everyone had been struggling with Covid? This is true but with Hannah's mental health struggles and I think she said her family were key workers during the pandemic, they could've been a little more sensitive and given her extra encouragement. I was always on her side because I feel like I'm similar to Hannah. Whilst I don't suffer from depression, I get incredibly anxious, only go out when I have to and am still extremely worried about Covid. I have vulnerable elderly family members who would suffer immensely if they caught it. I've not caught it yet (touch wood) as I've still been masking up, despite very few doing so here in the UK nowadays. But we all know that TPTB expect them all to be different yet the same and don't really care about the girls' feelings!

She's one of the few audition vet cuts that I've never understood. Everyone makes mistakes (even Amy L made mistakes in the kickline as a group leader in practice) but Heather's on-field dancing looking strong. For someone so tiny, she did fill her space well. Other than her one wrong kick, I didn't see anything else wrong with her audition. Maybe her interview was awful?

All Past Seasons of the Late Lamented Show

What on earth? I mean Jordan looks great but this image is all kinds of weird. It would be nice if she was smiling and interacting with the horse, rather than giving a sexy face! -
Caroline is safe and dependable at point but a bit bland. I looooove Kelcey but she looks down quite a bit when she dances. My eyes were drawn to the left side with Ashlee, Chandi, Claire, Tyra and Marissa in the back. Thunder is so dull to me now but Ashlee gives it something extra. She deserves to be point over Caroline for me. I quite like the new dance and seeing Claire front and centre in parts. I'm surprised McKenzie is further forward than Claire in the triangle though. Kelee's kicks look a little low but I can forgive her because she's the cutest!

All Past Seasons of the Late Lamented Show

It reminds me of the episode when they were going to be having Football 101 yet they revealed the calendars instead. Surely they could've done that at the end of the session? Kelli was vocal about many of the girls not having a lack of football knowledge yet pushed it aside to reveal who made the calendars. If you give the women the tools, they'll learn. I miss the days of the binders, which seemed to have as much information as humanely possible in! -

I've always found the political questions innappropriate too. I'm all in favour of asking for facts (historical and current) but asking about personal opinions on politics shouldn't be allowed. In fairness, they probably wouldn't approve of my opinions anyway (considering Jerry Jones' beliefs)! Then again, it's not your typical job interview because asking about someone's celebrity crush is also very cringey! I'd like to see more of the interviews so we can see what else they ask them. -

So I just managed to watch season 16 all in one day (yes, I'm bored) and I actually really enjoyed the entire season. I'm pretty sure they picked the right 36 in the end! I'd have cut a few earlier than they did (Ashley, Kya, Ava) and kept a couple a bit longer (Bre, Kylie, Presley). I also thought SG should've been switched a bit too (replace Kat and Darian with Jada and Lea). Other than that, I thought it was good to see more interaction between the rookies and vets as well as much more dancing! -

UK friends, season 13 is on ITVBe starting tomorrow at 7am. They seem to show this season a lot but it's my fave rookie class! -
For me, it's the fact that they push this narrative of having 36 of the best dancers in the country when we all know every year, there are a couple who are good but not great dancers but have other strengths. Savannah even struggled in her 2nd year with Tara too but is a great example of having other attributes. She's very pretty, good on appearances and doesn't she come from a military family? That rookie class had a few who weren't necessarily the strongest dancers (Molly, Alexis, Miranda) but all seemed really likeable and apperance-ready. Wasn't it Miranda who Kelli said was a great interviewee in the media segment?
