I'm no expert on this and I know there are different levels of offenders, but I always thought a registered child sex offender could never intentionally be around children. They can go to McDonald's to grab a bite to eat, but they can't hangout in the children's play section. I believe it holds true for family members as well. They can't go into a home or to a function knowing children will be present.

Only while on probation. This may be different for violent Offenders but once you’re off probation you can be around anyone and you don’t have to disclose your status. HOA’s and such can prevent one from moving into a neighborhood but they are free to live and be amongst people. They do have to register with their local PD and check in yearly but they are not restricted for life like you’d think. My exBIL is on the list, I have a lot of first hand knowledge about his subject unfortunately.

Josh will be a registered offender for the rest of his life, potentially limiting their freedom to make choices.

That's not the only reason I suspect the toothpaste ain't going back in the tube this time.  Bottom line, JB is a pragmatist with an eye to his self interests.   I think Josh will no longer be allowed to come inside the perimeter again.   JB may provide a truly meagre subsistence with the proviso Josh is not to be seen or heard from again, but I expect that's where it's going to be in JB's all out bid for self preservation.   Denouncing Josh will provide the only prospect of cover from public opinion.

I’m predicting a prodigal son situation when he’s out of prison.

With the caveat that these are tabloids so take everything with a healthy grain of salt, one thing doesn't make sense to me.  I thought that one of the conditions was that the Rebers not receive any compensation.  I don't see how JB building a fence around their property would not be considered compensation.

The lawyer's talk was very interesting.  Seeing Josh's severity level go from 22 down to 20, then back up to 22 and eventually up to 31 was funny, in a disgusting sort of way.

@hathorlive I was wondering about this too...... that is technically compensation.... ?

Here you go! Looks like she's doing that thing I hate where she's using multiple photos to make one big one on the grid, but since I never look at someone's grid, you just get weird pieces of photos in your feed.

You know in Forrest Gump when Jenni is coked out and standing on the ledge? Minus the weight that is exactly who she looks like.

  5. We had a dry wedding because my husband was a recovering alcoholic (still my husband, no longer recovering, back on the bottle full stop) and the venue kept a bar open and staffed anyways so there ended up being a “cash bar”.  But, mine was also strictly child free, including no child attendants, so cash bar or not I’ve been told people really loved that more than anything 🤣
The “child” struck a nerve with a lot of our family members trying to say their 10y/o’s were mature so I set an 18+ age limit, let them whine and had a wonderful time with no Children.

    Re: ill-fitting dresses

They are dresses, usually long shift dresses. On little waifs. How hard can it be to find something to fit?! That should be the easiest to fit! Plus it’s so weird how the undershirts are always contrasting, and not in a good way. Jill is either actively making them look disheveled, or actively neglecting them. I don’t think they are merely slipping through the cracks.

Can’t be a martyr about modesty if you don’t ensure everyone sees how modest you are.

Last week when I filled up it was $2.98 per gallon, but it was at a rural convenience country store.  There were 2 pumps and I was the only one there! I didn’t mind paying more since no waiting.

That’s a low price in my next of the woods 🤬 damn gas prices!

Wow, I’ve never thought about it, but you’re right!  The only toys I’ve ever seen were a couple of small stuffed animals/dolls that Sofia was playing with in a picture.  I guess that any money for toys is used to buy more junk for Jill or maybe Jill considers playing with toys to be sinful.

To be fair, there really isn’t time to play with toys when you’re only allowed to think about eternal damnation for your sins. Sins which include thinking of anything other than BeSt MAmA Evr and how to please her.

When you see that there are 19 kids in this family, and if you look up and find the percentages of any of them being LGBTQ, really heavy in to porn, etc., then I just have to think that there are more secrets with the kids than just with Josh being so extremely sick. Though he may be the sickest, I think that there must be a few more that have much different thoughts than their parents want them to have. I just can't see having 19 kids and they all turn out to be the way their parents want them to be. Just my opinion.

You are 100% correct, They just bank on the brainwashing and controlling the purse strings to see them through. But I will jump for joy the first time one of the offspring or grandkids breaks free as LGBTQ and gets to live their life true to themselves.

I filed in Feb, but the 7th was a friday, so its only been two full business days- it should be pending by tomorrow depending on your bank.

Well, we passed the allotted time and I called my tax guy, turns out they put my banking info in wrong 🤬🤬🤬. So who knows now.

How could either side prove that Smuggar had help?

Didn’t we see a rumor that Josh was trying to throw someone under the bus? That and the new speculation about another arrest is where I came to that guess.

we have no evidence or reason to believe that is true

The speculation that there is another arrest coming and that he was trying to implicate someone else is where I think it’s possible. Purely speculation on my part, but at this point anything is possible.

Why would Anna move when her biggest supporters live just yards from her?

And who else would be investigated? Wasn't it shown that Smuggar was alone in the shack while downloading the files?

Maybe someone showed him how to do the split hard drive and TOR for the purposes of illegal activities. I’d guess Ben or Jed

my brother once told his pcp when doing a sports eval that his bruises (from wrestling) were child abuse (he thought it would be a funny joke). Turns out it wasn’t a funny joke 🤦🏻‍♀️, and they had the full work up/interviews before it clicked that my brother was just an absolute idiot and had no idea what those implications meant.

. Yes, CPS should be involved. Yes, it is traumatic to remove children from their homes, but if it comes to that it comes to that. Please understand that if the Duggars were black, or brown, or poor folks living in the hills, the kids would have already been gone and parsed out to multiple foster homes.

You would be surprised at what it takes to remove kids from a home, there are plenty of people who are all races that are pure trash that get to keep their kids or get chance after chance to have them back. It is sickening what CPS will allow.

I had the same thought and made the argument earlier about being both dumb (using a birthday passcode) and smart (partitioning a computer). It leads to doubt.

If his passcode was the same as bank info and others, AND he had covenant eyes it makes sense to me. He’s being babysat and Anna would have all of his passwords so the false sense of security is there. She can get into the computer to check on him and he can operate like business as usual. Having a hard passcode would make the babysitter suspicious. Usual passcodes don’t alert anyone and the partitioning was good enough to hide his activity from them.

Banking on never having to get an actual job was never a smart play and now it’s biting them in the ass and I do not feel the least bit sorry for them. None of them are incapable of working. Yeah it’s going to be low skilled, low paying jobs, but again don’t feel badly for them. Maybe they’ll realize for their kids a real education is a necessity because being an influencer doesn’t pay for the lattes.

YES!!! Fuck them all (except Jill) and the Bible they rode in on. I won’t lose a wink of sleep over any one of those kids losing their lifestyles, welcome to the real world!

Good morning!  I have a question for anybody this morning.  Mother's day is approaching and I'm curious if you gift your daughters and daughters in law?

I haven't in the past but was thinking about doing that this year.  A monetary gift for something special they would like.

The problem is I don't want to get in between the gifting my grandchildren do to their parents!

I was buying a card for my friends birthday and happened upon mother's day cards and saw daughter and daughter in law.  Something I never thought of doing.

My husband and I decided when we first had children we wouldn't gift each other because we never wanted our gifts from our children of plaster hands and cards to be outshined by bought gifts.

    Thanks for any input!

Alternative perspective for you, my MIL gives me a Mother’s Day card and small gift every year, it’s usually very thoughtful and sweet. We had a rough start when I had my daughter  (she wanted to move in and take care of my kid full time, or wanted me to do the millennial thing and leave my kid with her 24/7) so it’s nice getting a card saying she thinks I’m a good mother and appreciates me. My parents usually do not, just depends on the mood, but we have a really good relationship so I don’t expect things from them for stuff like that because they do things for me all the time.

so as the DIL and daughter it’s appreciated.
