  1. That dress J wore in Bimini was seriously ugly. Looked like underwear.
  2. Hey, I cheered all that hot sauce! That is me. Craig, so sad. Pretty, with a side of lazy and, frankly, stupid, no sale. On the other hand, I did love “Did you bring the psycho?” Poster pointed out that blouse got stained. Yeah, Danni’s outfit made more sense for a kids’ party, but I’m glad K made an effort to look fab. Ashley is great TV. Crazy always bumps the ratings. Where do they find these folks without a clue? Still, a match for Thomas. Someone who makes him look reasonable by comparison.
  3. I think K was great with her kids. No small feat to dress toddlers and yourself! That beautiful outfit with the white collar is something I would not have dared with my kids. I hope she has turned a corner for good. Not easy. All the eating and sweets are characteristic of addictive personalities going straight so she is working it.
  4. It was such a good episode. The back and forth between these people is often delightful. Thomas was so obvious and K just laughed at him. “What’s that for, mood lighting?” Ha! The double entendre when Ash exited after frenching Thomas and asking him upstairs, Whitney: “You got your hands full there,” Thomas taking a compliment to his virility and W going on to talk about A’s bad behavior. I think Shep DID intervene when T lost it. Almost everyone reacted to his STFU and Shep convinced him to apologize. What more was needed? Did you ever READ Gatsby, Shep? Jordan Baker is a despicable liar who cheats at golf. Loving the season.
  5. Out of the men, only Thomas dressed for dinner. Whitney, of course, is fitted out like a Fonzie wannabe and the rest barely located a clean hoodie. The women were in cocktail dresses! They all looked fab, though Kathyrn does not have the figure for leather pants. I agree Chelsea is kind. I loved her brandishing the fist. And she is lovely. Her earrings at dinner were so cute! Shep, Craig, all those guys are like shipboard romances. No good on shore, in real life. Waste of time and youth to fool with them. These rich folks, with their horses and boats and private chefs. Ain’t that the life?
  6. Outside of which, she thanked the individual who actually DID the work. Democratic of her, you ask me. I think all the ladies look so well in the THs. Finally, age-appropriate hair, imo.
  7. It is strange that Eureka is really polished and does the most with being a big queen of all the ones that I have seen so far, and yet she is impossible for me to root for. I think Aquaria has acquitted herself more than honorably. She has been good in Snatch Game and the skits. It was fair to find her safe. She is not simply fabulous like Violet, she is funny and wonderfully exciting on the runway, imo. This is a really good season.
  8. I personally believe that guests should be offered food without their having to ask or be asked. Hannah is a poor excuse for a stew. Does her union keep her from filljng a bowl with nits while jerkass chef brunoises and juliennes the fruit? Outside of which, twenty some minutes? what they are selling is first class service to your preference. Very bad start on the part of the crew.
  9. That is a good point, but if you ask me, Eureka was just the easiest target. Someone emotional and uptight and insecure that you can poke to make yourself feel better. What really unleashed her (Vixen’s) beast was Eureka winning. And then the others named Vixen as the one to go. Eureka alone restrained herself from saying that, thereby exposing the hollowness of Vixen’s dislike. It was internal to Vixen, triggered by her need to make someone feel as lousy as she does.
  10. I watched Chelsea and she seemed legitimately angry with Shep, as if she wanted someone, anyone, to fight him. Her face was really dark. I agree that she plays a part, but is likely simmering with resentment. damn near all these women are identical. No wonder K made a hit.
  11. Who was the girl with Austen in the comings? I could not tell. Damn, these new girls look alike.
  12. Call me all the names you want, but Patrick was not using unusual words, imo. I have also used these words. They are common enough for readers. He used them correctly and did not strain for them. They’re words he uses. The ways those folks on stage reacted: I mourn the dearth of education in the United States if these otherwise upwardly mobile appearing white individuals are not only ignorant, but proud of it! Reminiscent of Stassi trying to talk to a Summer House guy. Might as well be speaking different languages. Sad. Just sad.
  13. Scary to think that’s exactly what they’d do.
  14. I have read that Naomi is pals with the VPR women. AFAIAC, she is copying Kristen of VPR season 2 and 3. Put that show on the map. Calling someone else “thirsty” is ironic. Glad we can like Craig again. He is awfully lovable.
  15. James said “Miss USA.” Different pageant.
  16. Reality television is wonderful. Especially since we get to debate the fascinating question: Fetish or affectation? Such a rewarding conversation; all sides make sense. Maybe these guys drink less than we think when the cameras are off? They are relatively young with decent metabolisms (and workout habits) so it isn’t terrifically strange. IMHO, Katie has the prettiest face. She covers it with her hair and ruins it with her consistent sneer but her features are good. When her hair is swept away from her face, you see her beauty. Ariana cut her hair and she, too, hides her face with it. It’s like those awful shoulder showing sleeve things they all wear. Something they do. Like this show alot. Always have.
  17. Not to mention, there IS an age difference, and, Kyle, sweetie, that last shot of you in the “comings” — your age is showing, paunchy. Getting soft in the middle. Seen it before — those blonde good looks fade fast. Move on, A.
  18. And this is a surprise? Jax screwed his woman while he was in the next room! And Jax is his ACE! At what point did FI put any woman ahead of any man?
  19. I must agree — Stephen is unpleasant to spend time with. Really, Carl and Kyle, for all their faults, are the sociable ones.
  20. Wow, Nerdlove, great post. Kennedy may be correct in general that black queens are not as popular, but while Kennedy is fine, she is no Ben. Bob the Drag Queen is Black and he has a terrific career. (He is doing Angels in America at Berkeley this spring.) He is more talented than Kennedy, who has never successfully memorized a part on this show. She was hopeless at leading her theater troupe during her season. Sometimes she is funny. Her make up is often lovely, but her taste is off and her attempts at breaking out of ”pageant pretty” don’t fare well. She has no depth, imo. I think, as you say about Thorgy, there’s a “try hard” quality to Kennedy. But YMMV.
  21. I said once before that she was a plague and she is! Too bad Carl can’t refuse low-hanging fruit, but women should not pretend that they only want “fun” and then make demands. Neither is “right” and both are too damn old for this. Carl cannot support a wife, Lauren. He has familial problems and job problems. You want a husband. Not a match. No one’s fault.
  22. How young is he? He seems thirty to me. And I don’t think turning L down makes him gay. She is clearly on the rebound and way too desperate seeming. Unlike Carl, he weighs the issue of shitting where you eat.
