  1. And how old is he? About 120? Or does he just look that way because of the heavy dark rings under his eyes. Not that he can help it, it must be hereditary. Or it comes from living "out here on the Cosna". (silent scream)
  2. I'm 100% with you. And then when he cut his leg last season you'd have thought he was going to have to have what was left of it hacked off. And every time I hear "on the Cosna" I want to throw my bag of potato chips at the tv.
  3. So one person gets to dictate the change in Jeff's greeting. The one he's been using over 40 seasons. Well now, isn't he just so special? And Jeff almost wets his pants with joy.
  4. He left him behind with relatives because he was concerned and uncertain about the new harsh environment he was moving to being too much for Sipsy.
  5. When the "loves" were building that whatayathingy (the word escapes me, duh) to slide across right towards the end of the show there was a scene with a nice big house just behind them in whose yard they would have been attached it to trees it seemed to me. The house had an upper story with big windows and smoke coming out of the chimney. I replayed that tail end of my recording several times to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I can't stand those two long enough to care to go back through the whole recording for their scenes to see if I missed seeing that big house in them. Caught it during the last few moments of the show. It just seemed weird.
  6. Well I've been watching this show since it's inception and don't believe I've ever heard any of the male agents go on about any female agents the way Tyler does about Steve. Nor the way he was acting a few shows ago when auditioning male models. This show has always seemed to be above that. Unless I missed a scene or two when leaving the room to refill my dish of ice cream.
  7. How many freaking times does Tyler have to remind us that he's gay?? (the comments about Steve). Why is it so important to him that we know? Who gives a crap? Just do the show and leave your sexual preferences out of it. Yes, on occasion Fredrick says or does something but he's more natural about it whereas Tyler wants you to know "I AM OUT AND PROUD". Every time I start liking him again he starts with the goo goo talk about Steve and I don't give a damn. Just like I don't give a damn about Steve or Ryan's heterosexuality. Show the fabulous listings you have and leave it at that is what I say.
  8. Fooey. I was rooting for Biko. That's all.
  9. If useless Josh could get his ears flapping he could become airborne. Damn those are some seriously Dumbo ears he's got.
  10. I'll bet Biko's Dad shed some tears last evening listening to his son express the admiration and love he has for him. That ankle of his worries me. When he was making that sheath for his knife it made me wonder why he hadn't come up with a solution for the damage the mouse had done to the ties on his brace. He used something to sew that sheath together, seems he could have used whatever it was to do the same to the brace. Unless I misunderstood during the prior episode exactly what damage was done.
  11. As a big fan of this show since it first came on the air never thought I'd say these words.....this season is boring. And when Colton comes on I have to switch to closed captioning. His voice hurts my brain.
  12. Steve doesn't need his girlfriend to love him. He loves himself enough for both of them.
  13. I just want to know how Tyler got away with making that sexual comment about Steve left in the taping of the show for all to hear. Ya know the comment after meeting him for the first time wanting to do all kinds of dirty things with him? Had he said that about the new lady agent we would never have heard that. I guess if you are gay and make sexual comments about another man it's ok.
  14. I realize nobody is probably going to read this nevertheless I had to pop in to say I've grown quite fond of Alex Javor & Sipsy. For such a young man he's just so.........well I don't know, just his pronouncements about life in general make him sound like he's lived 100 years and become a wise old man. I would however, like him to wash that filthy green jacket LOL. Actually he's just grubby looking all the way around but there is no one there he needs to impress so what does it matter.
  15. I'm starting to warm up to the newbies. Except for Mr. I'm Flayed Wide Open. Who knew that being flayed wide open down to the bone only requires 7 stitches to get you back up and running. But if only I had a dollar for every time I've heard the phrase "out here"....followed by you need to be or you have to be or you must or you can't, or any other follow words that make me feel I'm less than because I couldn't or wouldn't be or don't want to.
  16. My father used the expression "doesn't know his ass from his elbow" but your hole in the ground expression will work too. As for the the dumbass and the bear den.........there are no words.
  17. Thank you for responding Medicine Crow. You & I must be the only 2 people who care to watch. These young folks are actually starting to grow on me and I'm enjoying the show. So far I haven't fast forwarded any of their segments like I do with the Hailstones for example. I know they're bringing their kids into the show so it won't seem like the same old same old but it still seems like the same old same old.
  18. Sooo, last evening we got to see his 7 stitches. The prior week, the week he got cut as he was laying there calling for help he was simpering about being flayed (his word) wide open down to the bone. Also last week after returning to his cabin from the hospital he said something about leaves and twigs still coming out of his wound. I don't know how that happens when you've been to the hospital, no doubt had your cut cleaned out and been stitched up. And I am bringing up again that as they were carrying him back to his cabin for helicopter pickup I thought for sure he'd come close to severing his leg off the way he was going on. No doubt he was scared and in pain but c'mon. Such dramatic yammering the whole walk back. I feel for him because he seems like a nice person and he wants this lifestyle so bad but I fear he's going get himself or her or both of them seriously injured or worse. And I guess I'm talking to myself here, no one else coming around to discuss the show. Oh well.
  19. Something went awry when he was struggling to get his snow thingy (going blank on what you call them) that he was towing the wood with out of the muddy area it got stuck in. I replayed it several times but couldn't get a handle on exactly how it happened. Somehow his leg was cut by his axe. For all the carrying on he did while he was being carried back to the cabin I thought for sure he'd be having an amputation or at the very least a long hospital stay. Now I do realize he was scared out of his undies but it just struck me as odd the particular talking and rambling on that he was doing to himself. On the other hand, had it been me I might have been going on even worse than he was. As it turned out 12 hours later he was stitched up and helicoptered back to their cabin. I don't why it annoys me that they rarely call each other by name but instead call each other "love". I should be happy for them they care so much about each other to use that endearing term.
  20. I think Chris (or is his name Love?) will be okay only if she takes over as Man of the House and he becomes her help mate. Otherwise I think they are doomed.
  21. Aha, it was Yukon men they were on. Thanks for that link.
  22. I like it too! New faces, new story lines. BUT that guy Chris, I think that's his name (going to take me a little time to memorize them) who has the sweet blonde wife. I KNEW IN MY HEART his tree cutting was not going to end well. Everything he attempts seems to go ass backwards. As much as he wants it maybe he just isn't cut out for that life. I feel like I've seen them on some other Alaska show, Edge of Alaska maybe or some such show.
  23. Well that, I am sorry to say, disappoints me about Sue. She's the #1 reason I have stuck with the show since it started. That she is changing her story is making me look at her in a different light.
