  1. Finished Babylon's Ashes. Don't know if it's the last book or not. I could see it going either way.
  2. Solid start, although these 2 episodes could have been the end of the first season. Kept waiting for Bobbie's story to materialize before I realized that the show is still finishing up Book 1.
  3. Note to Sturgill Simpson: your word of the day is enunciate. Look into it.
  4. The books will always get compared to GoT because one of the authors worked for Martin and the chapters are set up the same way.
  5. I'm just pissed that SyFy OnDemand and the SyFy Now app aren't showing any episodes from Season 1. It's pathetic.
  6. This show is slow-burning nicely so far. Hope they can keep it up.
  7. I binged this off OnDemand (no fast forwarding allowed!) and was pleasantly surprised. Until the end. There were some genuine frights and interesting WTFuckery. Equal parts Jacob's Ladder, Twin Peaks, and Inception. Unfortunately, the journey was much better than the destination. Apparently, all this has happened before and it will all happen again. YAWN.
  8. I want Harvey's time machine, or magic traffic light controller. And Louis deserves love, just not that woman. She doesn't reek of desperation, but Jeebus.
  9. Armisen? This just confirms that he has pictures of Lorne with dead hookers. I still can't believe he even got the gig, considering his audition was that awful Ay Dios Mio timbale player.
  10. Does Jonathan have a speech impediment or is he playing it up? He sounds like a gradeschooler at times. He's worse than Tom Brokaw.
  11. I love Mads, but his renditions of the Manhunter lines were awful, like he wasn't even trying. As much as Fuller has been hacking about this season with the film-school masturbation, I did enjoy the piece of original conversation between Hannibal and Jack and the shifting of locations for the conversations.
  12. As much as I enjoy this show for the acting and cinematography, the suspension of disbelief required for some of these crime scenes is approaching ridiculous proportions. How Hannibal was able to put Beverly's "display" together so quickly and all by himself is really pushing it. Full disclosure - I have read all the books/seen all the movies (I prefer Manhunter), and am getting increasingly annoyed at Fuller's cute attempts to inject dialogue from all other sources into this show. It's cheap.
