Well this is what I don't get about DCC's media/interview training stuff they show on CMT. They do seem to ask politics related questions, but do they expect the girls to express a view? And if they express a view, is it supposed to be line with the "official Dallas cowboys" political stance (e.g. with the kneeling etc)? It doesn't seem clear from the show whether that is encouraged.
Yes I can see the girls should be entitled to express their views without judgment but from a PR point of view it could be a bit of a nightmare and prove to be very divisive- whether that is expressing a liberal view that people might hate or vice versa. If I was in charge of PR for DCC I would encourage everyone to stay away from politics.
Politics (whether conservative or liberal) can be divisive, that's why I was surprised Rachel was open on twitter about it- will be keeping an eye out to see if she goes into TV/news though, it's quite an interesting theory since I can't see her doing the Kalyssa ("maxim" model) or Holly P ("specialist"? dancer) route and suspect she will want to do a bit more than being a local dance instructor...!
