I called it from week 1 but even I'm shocked I was right...it really is season 1 vs season 2....power couple vs newfie/ smart girl....as a bonus we even got a overdramatic nonstop crying cant win anything player to stand in for sabrina...i called daela, will and paras being the final four in week 1 but im surprised i didnt see maddy for the 5th place contender...who knows maybe she'll decide to become gary in the 11th hour and make it to final 2...which means we need to finish this season with a wrongly cast vote that costs maddy the game and the winner bleeding all over arrisa and the stage as they accept their win.

If I'm remembering correctly they were both on All-stars producing together and Shapiro bowed out for season 8. I vaguely remember reading that he took a back seat once the show was going and let her do her thing which would lend even more credence to the idea since the back half of All-stars was really where everything started magically going Will and Boogies way no matter what.

You could say that the buyback comp and Jess getting the temptation was them trying to give team Cody a chance to comeback and reset the season like they wanted. But that'd be extreme conspiracy theorizing. Because as much as production does interfere there are limits to how far they'll go to keep there storyline going. They underestimated the strength of Paul's Kool-Aid.

Oh I don't think he's solely responsible at all. I agree he's not that powerful. Maybe I should've said he showed them they could take it further. Inspired them maybe, or at least helped plan the roadmap they've used for every season since.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about Big Brother as a whole, sad I know, since this season has been such a trainwreck and I've come up with a theory. It's all Will Kirby's fault. First some background on my history with the show. My wife and I watched it from day one. Every episode. We didn't follow feeds or look anything up until season 6. We were obsessed every season and debated strategy and who would win or lose or whatever. When season 6 came around I was convinced the friendship couldn't possibly be as bad as they were being portrayed so I started looking online and found Joker's. This was my first exposure to the feeds and would change the way I viewed the game. While there was some production interference and whatnot I could see the game was still there. All-stars changed all that and while following it I realized that the way the game was played was changing. The production interference seemed more heavy handed and not even subtle and that's where my Will Kirby's theory comes from. My wife and I were so disappointed to see Will carry, and yes he carried him, the slimy weasel Boogie to the end that we stopped watching totally. We missed season 8-11 completely and then picked it back up with the brigade and have since watched all the seasons we missed but it's not the same game. That game ended with season 6. When All-stars started Will was faced with a dilemma. He was playing a game against people who'd all played before. Who had played a game that he hadn't played because in season 2 there was no veto or backdoors or six finger plans. No outrageous twists. Just the HOH and a bunch of people for him to manipulate. Now he had a cast who all had more experience and weren't as easily manipulated. So he went for the next best thing manipulate production to give him what he wants. He did that by pitching them a story arc. For once they didn't have to cobble together a story from the episodes. They could just make the story happen with the help of the houseguests it was benefitting. And voila the new age of Big Brother is born. This is even further proven by a few statements that Dan Geesling has made when giving tips on how to play. He's said more than once it's not winning comps or your social game that will keep you in the house. You have to remember you're on a television show and give them something to make your character interesting to make them want you to stay against all odds. The fact that Will is the one who moderates the juror round table discussions just adds to the fact that production wants to make sure they can control the outcome to tell the story they have in mind for that specific season. I think Nicole won last season because a woman had to beat a guy in the final two. It had never happened in the US Big Brother and it had twice on the Canadian counterpart and between that and the rumors of sexism they wanted a female to win against a male to prove that it was possible on the US version. This season is Paul's payback for taking second. I don't think he was ever supposed to win because that wasn't the story they wanted to tell. I also don't think him controlling the house the way he has is the story either. They wanted a split house. Right vs left. To tie into the split in America over the election and all the crap from both sides. All American Marine Cody and his soldiers vs tattooed trendy hipster Paul and his soldiers. They cast a huge amount of followers who were needy and wanted to be accepted as cannon fodder to sacrifice as the two generals made war on screen. That's not what happened. Cody took the shot at Paul just like they wanted but they never imagined every houseguest but Jessica would run cowering to Paul when the Pendant of Ass Protection was used. That's when they lost control of the story and it's been a train wreck ever since. The fact that Paul isn't even respecting production and is ordering his minions to throw comps and ignore temptations makes it worse. He's taken them out of the equation. I really doesn't matter though because next season will be a new story. I accepted that when I started watching again in season 12. It hasn't felt like a true game since season 6 and I don't think it ever truly will again unless there are drastic changes made. I thought you guys might like to hear my thoughts on it and I'd love to hear if you agree or disagree. And a further note. Thank you to everyone who follows the feeds and types up and fills us non feed watchers in on the goings on in the house. I can't even make it through an episode of After Dark without falling asleep so it's much appreciated. Especially since for me the most entertaining part of the show is the dichotomy between what is shown on screen and what really happens.

Here's what I would do if I were Josh. He won't mind you but here's what I would do. I would get with the "team" and tell them I've got to nominate them both in order to hide the alliance so no one suspects. When they start to protest pull out the "trust the team" mantra that Krampus has thrown in his face ad nauseum maybe even pull out a you're sounding like you don't trust me and I'm not liking what I'm hearing. Give them both a taste of their own dirty medicine. Then I'd just let the week play out and see. Make no deals with anyone until veto but make sure everyone knows that Paul is his target for attacking him after the vote. It would make sense to everyone and Paul and Christmas wouldn't have a leg to stand on to fight him on it since it's the same ignorant gameplay they've been forcing him to do all season, except this time it benefits him and has the potential to get rid of Paul.

My theory is based on my realization that Diggles mask is an opposite version of Mr. Terrific's painted T on his face. Therefore I'm theorizing that either Curtis becomes an active member of the team and dies within sixth months and Diggle inherites the t-spheres and the name or Diggle dies and Curtis inherits his helmet in honor of team arrows fallen friend.

I don't post often and I don't know much about the bts rumors but I haven't seen this mentioned so I thought I'd bring it up. On top of the nonsensical dialogue it seemed pretty clear that Nathan and Stana didn't even film that final scene together. The over the shoulder cuts stood out so much that it didn't even seem real and I was only half listening to the dialogue while waiting to see both actors confirmed in the shot at the same time which never happened. Even the kiss you only saw Beckett and the back of Castles head.

I have a question for my fellow posters. My hometown is having a small comic/sci-fi convention but has labeled it as only suitable for ages 18+. I just wonder what your opinions are I disagreed with it on the Facebook page saying we should be encouraging the love of comics in kids and got blasted for having that opinion and was told that other than megacons no comic convention is kid friendly which I know to be untrue since I've been to quite a few that have all been kid friendly as far back as 1993. So I ask what's your opinion on this?

This is the way I see the story in regards to Caleb and Norma and their past. I see Caleb's remark about Norma being the smart one as more an admission that she was the less delusional one. Which from what we know of Norma says tons about Caleb's character. So setting the stage we have two kids abused, ignored and mistreated who only have each other to turn to and learn from. A bad situation right from the start but then hormones and experimentation turn it into a sexual relationship. After a few years of this Norma hears/realizes its wrong and ends it. To Caleb this is akin to being dumped by his girlfriend and abandoned by his only friend all at once. He's distraught and the feelings are acerbated by the fact that "the love of his life" and his only real confidant also lives in the same house as him and he has to see and be around constantly. Oh yeah and he's delusional and a more than a little nutso which applies to both of them. So basically the situation is a parallel to Norma/Normans relationship. Because of her past and everything's she's dealt with she doesn't know how to form a healthy relationship with a male. Whether it be her sons, the sheriff, or any guy she meets her boundaries are all messed up. Whether this began with her brother or goes further back we don't know but we do know that the way she deals with discomfort is snark and condescension. And applied to Caleb with them being in close quarters and his delusional mind being heartbroken he snaps. Just like what will enevitably happen with Norma and Norman as told by the movie. Norma is the victim both times not just of the men in her life but of her circumstances and upbringing which causes her to almost create these situations that put her in danger over and over because of her inability to interact with well, not just males, but people period in a healthy and normal manner.

The pictures looked to me like the kind you take with a homemade box camera. The exposure on those are lengthy and tricky to use. Getting a person in the shot means them standing totally still for 30 minutes or more or they appear almost ghostlike so I got what he meant and why the truth sounded funny especially to someone who's never messed with developing pictures with one.

Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
house864 replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
That depends on if you consider the last eviction as two nominees...Jason and Danielle were the final nominees in season 3....Emmet and Julienne were the final two for BB Canada 1 but no one has made it all the way to final 2 without at least being one of the final 2 automatic nominees...that's what I meant. -

Actually no Jillian is tied with Danielle of BB3...getting all the way to final 3 losing the HOH and being the automatic nominee...If Derrick wins this HOH he'll have never been a nominee period...which hasn't been done to my knowledge at least in the US and Canadian versions. -
Season 16 Live Feed Discussion: Keeping an Eye Out
house864 replied to Stinger97's topic in Past Seasons
I don't think he'll throw it... Not because he worries Cody won't take him...but because if he wins HOH he makes BB history first player to get all the way to the end and never be nominated...even at the end...and in a season with double the amount of nominations that's quite a feather in his cap.
