I always get sucked into "The Princess Bride" or any version of "Pride and Prejudice." Here's one out of left field that hardly anyone else has seen (my friends & I were the only ones in the theater): "Down With Love" with Ewan McGregor & Renee Zellweger. I found it a satiric hoot. It made me laugh and laugh. For "stuff done blowed up good," I agree that "Die Hard" is great, as well as "Speed." Have you read "Ready Player One"? Really fun, exciting book! Also, if anybody hasn't been watching "Fresh Off the Boat," I highly recommend catching up on it. It is SO funny! Constance Wu is amazing.

Yesterday's filming was Bailee, Lana & Hercules actor.

I doubt it would last the whole arc, but more like you said, with him losing his memories right before they reach him. It could also be a targeted loss, so he forgets only Emma -- like Snow took the potion to forget only Charming. This seems to be the source, but there's no info about when it was taken. That's exactly what happened when Persephone ate the pomegranate, although it worked out she was able to leave for half the year. I think Hades will be behind it, and it will be targeted memory loss. He's gonna want to mess with Hook & the people who have come to rescue him. Remember the character description for the "Distinguished Gentleman" made a reference to being “the last person you ever want to share a drink with.” I think Hook could make the mistake of drinking the water that Hades offers. It's akin to Persephone eating the pomegranate.

DS did tell Hook that it would all be over "tomorrow." I think DS's plan was timed for "when the stars align" ;) or when something was happening to allow Charon/the Dark Ones to come to SB. I think her plan with Zelena had a specific time when it needed to happen because of magic reasons. But probably now Hook is going to pick up that plan. Or I suppose it's possible that DS already set something in motion that she now can't stop because Hook has Excalibur and the darkness isn't in Zelena.

I have a feeling they may stick Hook with memory loss because of the water in the UW, so when they find him, he won't remember Emma. So, you know, another layer of angst for 5B!

Absolutely. I don't think anybody who isn't a Regina stan would be happy if Jane became the show runner. She is a HUGE HUGE HUGE Regina fan. If you thought Regina got a lot of focus now….

You know what, that makes total sense. I was thinking about that spell to destroy the light that needs the cries of a newborn. We've been told that Excalibur can cut out lightness or darkness, depending on who wields it. IF IF IF Dark Hook has a plan (and I'm still skeptical because I have to be with TS, TW), then I could see the show making it look like he's planning to destroy the light. But it turns out his plan is to destroy the darkness, and the same spell works for that, too. He could use Excalibur to cut the Darkness out of Emma, take it into himself and then stab himself with Excalibur. It would be like when Rumple stabbed himself and Pan, but this time because the dagger and Excalibur are joined, it destroys the Darkness.

I wonder if perhaps the Darkness itself is destroyed for good, but each surviving former Dark One -- Gold and Emma -- will be "returned" the darkness they did as the Dark One. So they get just their personal level of darkness, but not something that is to the level of the Black Flubber that needs to be tethered or that can be transferred. So Rumple will then have a lot of Darkness and power, but not BE the Dark One. The dead Dark Ones will go back to the UW.

Pretty darn sure. Scene of the group, Dark Emma, Hook & hooded figures near the lake. Then a scene with the group minus Hook & the hooded figures, and Emma is de-Darkened and she's wearing his ring on a chain around her neck. There are photos from the cemetery filming for 5x12 that appear to show a grave marker with "Killian Jones" on it. An intrepid CSer searched that cemetery's online database and found a real marker in that exact spot for a "Lillian Jones." So they probably just set-dressed the "L" to a "K." Handy! I have been living in terror of this, as well. I could totally see this happening. And then Emma will thank her. I was 100% convinced at one point that this is what will happen, but I kind of pushed it to the back of my mind because it was annoying me too much to think about it. If we're lucky, it will be a plan between Hook and Regina and not just her call.

It's gonna get to the point of being like Kenny on South Park. "Oh my God, you killed Killy!" I think IF Dark Hook is playing Emma and everyone, it won't be revealed until 5x11, so we'll spend all of 5x10 and part of 5x11 thinking he's truly gone Evil before All Is Revealed when he sacrifices himself. But I'm still leaning toward either a Buffy/Angel situation where Emma has to kill him to save everyone, or he fights off the darkness at the last moment just before his evil plan comes to fruition and he sacrifices himself.

I was there, too! My first fandom. I was on the XF-Romantics email list. Remember email lists? LOL. We actually had a list gathering in Washington D.C. one year with about 50 of us. I actually stumbled across my picture of my Mulder & Scully action figures on the Hoover Building sign the other day when I was cleaning. Good times. The shipper vs. noromo war was brutal though. I can only imagine what it would have been like in the age of Twitter. Though I think it wouldn't be nearly as bad as the OUAT fandom, since that has multiple factions and XF really had only the two biggies.

I figure they will hide her pregnancy this time. There was a blind item rumor going around a couple of weeks ago about a baby boom among actresses on a TV show that was requiring rewrites. Sure sounds like Once! Emilie, the actress who plays Lily, now Ginny.
