Oh, goody, a Regina flashback! We've NEVER had one of those! I bet we'll find out how wonderful and good she was before that mean ole Snow made her turn evil. My sarcasm is off the charts tonight. Oh, God, you're probably right, InsertWordHere -- we'll get Brat!Snow in the flashback being horrid to poor Regina. I think I finally realized why they called the next ep "Breaking Glass" -- we'll all be throwing and breaking the glasses we've been drinking alcohol from! I feel like there will be some point in the ep where we all should karmically toast one another and then just chug, because we'll need to.

I was a pirate last year. This year I'm doing steampunk. I have been shocked at how many of the people I know have never heard of steampunk. I thought it was one of those genres that most people have heard of.

Rage sprints are much more productive than table flipping! Maybe I'll rage-exercycle. Excellent idea! And KAOS Agent, you can never go wrong with stocking up on copious amounts of alcohol when watching this show. I wonder if they filmed so much with 4.08 that they realized they'd have huge trouble cutting it to time. I can't imagine they had a full 42 minutes of overage, though, so I wonder if they'll film more to fill. That really kind of screws up trying to figure out what eps they've been filming when since then. Josh posted a pic of David's truck and Jared from filming, tonight I presume. Wonder what David and Henry are up to?

I've decided that for the sake of my tables and sanity, I need to never again read an interview with Lana. She's too much in Regina's headspace and always seems to talk down Emma.

Y'all are my people! Seriously, I am so cranky about them making an Emma ep into a REGINA ep. And yet another whitewashing of Regina's actions ep, to boot. It was as I feared, but I hoped my fears were misplaced -- though with this show, they generally aren't.

Colin is apparently on set, as well as Michael Socha. Don't know if they were actually filming or just there for interviews. "Great end to the night chatting w @colinodonoghue1 in his trailer before a chat w @Michaelsocha. Colin jokingly bullied him like Hook #OUAT" Also from same Twitter (entertainment reporter): "The #OUAT fan girl side of me is geeking out over everything I learned today. Beyond stoked to see this season play out."

Description of scene: It looks like people are thinking Charming got hurt. But the scene starts with Charming Snow and Regina at the end of the street walking towards Emma Elsa and Anna with the dwarves granny and other extras behind them. Emma runs up to charming and hugs him then Snow. And Henry yells “mom” coming around the corner and hugs Regina. Then Emma. The charmings look at baby charming in the stroller. Then Emma hugs Elsa. Snow and Charming share a kiss. Kind of looks like a happy reunion between all of them. It's like everybody is there except Killian and Kristoff. Rumple was there earlier, but I don't know if he's in this scene.

Now DQ is on set. Ugh with Regina being there. Does not make me optimistic about the storyline's denouement.

I had a thought: If they're shooting a brawl, then maybe multiple people are going to get glass shards. Maybe the whole town! Perhaps DQ is trying to show Emma and Elsa how people will turn on them and each other.

Hook on set. Must you smoulder so, Colin? Not sure what ep this is from, but he's clearly in the mystery honeymoon house. Based on that Ausiello spoiler, Adam is about to get inundated by upset Rumbelle fans with Twitter pitchforks.

I may have just broken my mind with that horrible thought. I think that might be all she wrote for me with this show if that comes to pass. I just can't anymore. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever narratively speaking, but this show has such a perma Regina-boner that all logical bets are always off. Do we know for sure whether the Emma flashback is 4.09 or 4.10? I think people think they're on 4.10, but I haven't seen for sure.

Ep 10 title. Ugh with Regina peeking around the side of the script. If they give her and Robin the Gerda/Kai story I WILL FLIP EVERY TABLE IN EXISTENCE. I WILL FLIP THE PERIODIC TABLE. I WILL FLIP THE WATER TABLE. I WILL FLIP THE TABLE OF CONTENTS OF EVERY BOOK IN EXISTENCE.

I have a new theory. The hat sucks in magic. What has Rumple said is the most powerful magic of all? True love. He also said in the latest ep that love can be wielded as a weapon.I think he wants to suck Emma and her magic into the hat. I can envision him trying to do that and Hook stepping in between her and the hat to protect her -- much as Anna sacrificed herself by stepping in front of Hans' sword to protect Elsa in "Frozen." Hook doesn't have traditional magic, but he would show True Love magic in this instance. So perhaps his life force, the essence of love, could be sucked into the hat -- "killing" him and thus releasing him from Rumple's deal. If Emma is holding onto him, his body could remain behind for her TLK or magic tears to revive. If he is entirely sucked into the hat, then I would envision Emma going after him to save him, much as he jumped into the time portal after her. Then we could have an ep or two of them in the Hat World, encountering magical beings and finding a way out of the hat. Perhaps they end up releasing Maleficent this way. Though I'm sure the show wouldn't want to deal with releasing all the magical beings in the hat, so they'd be the only ones with the Get Out of Hat Free cards. Either way, I want there then to be hell to pay for Rumple! Maybe seeing Rumple try to suck Emma into the hat would be enough for Belle to finally realize he's not a good dude and leave him. (Though she didn't seem to care about Emma when she was freezing to death....)

I have zero trouble imagining Hook and Emma having things to talk about. It's a shame we don't get to see such things on this show -- no time for "unimportant" conversations when you want to cram in four eps' worth of plot into one ep. Others have enumerated a lot of their connection already. Something I also think is important with them is that they generally just "get" each other. They know what's important to the other without much, if any, explanation. I feel like they have the same general vibe and seem to appreciate each other's sense of humor -- and manner of flirtation, which is important in a romantic relationship. They're both intelligent (the most recent ep with Hook excepted, sigh) and realistic about things, and have experienced similar losses and pains. They have a knack for making each other stronger. Emma opens up to him about things she doesn't tell anybody else -- that's a MAJOR thing. He's not judgmental about things with her, and I think that goes back to their similar viewpoints. That trust of being able to tell each other important things is vital. (Hint, Hook, hint.) Could they debate the merits of Windows vs. Mac OS, or what the international response to Ebola should be, or what the ending of The Sopranos meant? No, not right now, but Hook is so adaptable, he's only going to keep learning even more stuff to talk about. I think the details of what they may talk about is less important than a compatibility and commonality in temperament, which I think they definitely have. If nothing else, they both have interesting relationships with food! ;-)

Some filming info: Tonight’s entertainment consists of watching my dog growl out the window at crews setting up to film a #OUAT scene outside our condo. Snow Queen + blonde teen having confrontation at a bus stop And YVRShoots posted that they were filming a Snow Queen and teen Emma flashback, but deleted it: Deleted earlier tweet. It is an Emma flashback but not with Snow Queen apparently, people there tell me. #OnceUponaTime filming some kind of flashback scene (possibly Emma's) at Commercial & Venables in east Vancouver tonight. So one source says it's DQ and Emma flashback, another says just Emma. I tend to believe the first source, since she's actually there.

R is for Rumplestiltskin. Obviously. :)

I had a thought about the next ep. In the previews, we saw Elsa seeing Anna in the forest. I'm pretty sure Anna isn't actually there, so I wonder if the DQ is creating illusions to mess with Elsa. I don't see why anybody else would create such an illusion. If so, might she do the same thing to Emma? There was that interview where JMo said something about Emma and Regina hashing things out without actually hashing things out, which I thought was worded rather oddly. So perhaps there's a point where Emma and Regina are together in the forest, but Regina is actually an illusion that the DQ is using to mess with Emma.

Ha, is Regina carrying Sidney around in a compact mirror? Poor Elsa, she looks so sad. I feel like we’re going to get Elsa facing off against the Snow Queen and Emma facing off against Regina in this ep. Which bothers me because I wanted this ep to be all about Emma and her backstory, darn it.

That sounds about right. The casting call described her as having a "charming, take-no-prisoners punk exterior and the heart of a secretive, insecure opportunist." I wonder if she (and her father) con Emma? What am I saying? Of course the ep will have Emma come off looking bad in comparison to Regina. I'm really pissed off at the show for making me dread the ep where they FINALLY give Emma backstory by tying it to Regina. Because DQ's magic has bested her, and that can of course not be allowed?
