I got creative with that Hook pic from today, plus one from earlier. (Mild spoilers.)

If it's a new or fairly new pic, then I guess it's from 5x05. Sex with Hook isn't going to make Emma lose her soul and go all dark like with Angel and Buffy, is it? But seriously, is Emma going to leave Hook in bed to go off and do whatever with Regina/Henry/magic battle and then turn full Dark?

Ginny's latest Instagram countdown pic is a doozy.

I don't think it's petty at all. If it were any other original shirt, it wouldn't be outside of the norm or a big deal, but for a fan to Photoshop out the design of a T-shirt designed for an ILLNESS CHARITY with a ship design and then tag JMo with it is not cool. It doesn't matter if it was a SQer or CSer who did it, it'd still be a tacky thing to do.

I know quite a few people don't see anything wrong with real-people shipping, and I can see how it happens because fans see chemistry between two actors and co-star romances are fairly common in Hollywood, but it makes me uncomfortable and I find it inappropriate. I would feel super squicked-out if anybody was speculating about my love life or thinking I belonged with Person A instead of Person B. Or were talking about how my significant other belonged with somebody other than me. We don't know any of these people, and I don't think actors should have to give up their privacy or being treated like real people simply because they're actors. Their personal lives are none of our damn business. Also, in my experience, co-star romances hardly ever work out long-term and can end up seriously affecting the show, so I'm not sure anybody would be wise wishing for that if they ship the couple on-screen! For every Paul Newman/Joanne Woodward, there are a lot more Jennifer Garner/Michael Vartan situations. ::bad Alias flashbacks::

Yeah, I'm beginning to think she's overexcitable and overly thrilled to be working on the show. Which, you know, good for her, but let's manage expectations, shall we?

Midseason finale tease.

Christina Perri dedicated "The Words" to Captain Swan at her concert in Vancouver tonight and thanked Colin for being in the video. Some lucky fans got a picture with Colin & JMo, who were there. (You can also see Emilie and Lana in the background.) Also, JMo is still being attacked by the Giant Blob of Darkness. Christina posted some pics on her Instagram. Colin brought her an orchid. Liam, Sinqua & Bex were also there.

It's shaping up that way exactly. So following that pattern, CS will have hardly any scenes together for the rest of the arc, there will be a massive lack of payoff for them in the end, and Emma will ditch him to canoodle with Regina immediately after she's de-darkened. It's disgusting that Emma can't have a centric without Regina all over it. God forbid she have a centric involving her parents or her boyfriend.

I know how they can -- because it's TS, TW. They constantly set things up and then deliver absolutely no payoff. The Hook's heart arc, anyone? I'm totally with RadioGirl in expecting Hook to have little to no role in this arc. The fact that the only Hook-related teases anybody from the show have given involve his feelings about Emma's wardrobe is incredibly telling. A&E haven't teased one single thing about Hook's role in this arc. Hell, they've even teased that Belle will have an adventure with Merida! We'll see Robin's adventurous side! We'll see Charming at his most heroic! Regina will be the new savior! We'll see Hook ... appreciate Emma's wardrobe. See the difference? They know very well that Hook fans are cranky after his absence in 4B, but they can't even come up with one thing to promote about him. They tease what they think is important to the arc. Clearly, that isn't Hook.

I love the show having St. Regina be the voice of moral authority and lecture Emma about choices, and having Emma still grovel for her friendship even as Dark Swan. That's so effing rich. This ep is shaping up to be about as good for Emma fans as last season's fifth ep. My poor tables.

I was told the Blu-Ray exclusive audio commentary is Sympathy for the DeVil, with the writers.

Given the way Emma is dressing in SB, I'd say she's already gone pretty dark. Does that mean she's not Full Dark yet? But why would Hook be resisting her advances if she wasn't full dark yet? I feel like the Emma in SB is full dark, and we'll see how that happened in flashback.

I've had quinoa prepared as oatmeal before, with almond milk and nuts, and that can be quite tasty & has protein. You can make it the night before & heat it up in the a.m. and have a pot of it over a few days. I've seen rice-based hot breakfast cereal. There are dairy-free cheeses you could put with gluten-free bread; Daiya brand is considered the best, I think.

I honestly don't know whether I came up with this theory or read part of it somewhere and my mind expounded on it. But I've toyed with the idea that they do sort of a Buffy potential-Slayer thing. Maybe Merlin tried to take all the darkness out of Camelot to make it perfect and the people all goodness, but it didn't go as planned and created a giant blob of evil. And in the end the darkness will be split back up among all the people, so nobody gets OD'd on Darkness. But the tiny bit of extra darkness that Regina gets tips her scales back into the Evil Queen mode. I do think Emma will end up getting back her original amount of darkness that is in Lily. Perhaps that will somehow end up being the key to getting the darkness out if her.

So according to Adam in this article: “Emma is a very motivated Dark One. There’s a real driving force behind what she’s doing and why.” I wonder what is making her so motivated & why she's doing whatever she's doing? What is Emma's main drive as the Dark One? KingOfHearts, people sometimes use the ! just as a method of emphasizing whatever the adjective is that precedes it. Like the adjective is so important it needs an exclamation point. I saw it (and used it!) in discussion groups as far back as the X-Files fandom.
