Those of us who were just wee children in the mid-1980s would also know Engel as the voice of Love-a-Lot from The Care Bears Movie. That was my introduction to her, and I remember afterward I'd always be happy to see her on a "Mary Tyler Moore" rerun, 'cause, hey, that's the voice of Love-a-Lot :D!

Very sad to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace.

Had no idea she played Love-a-Lot! Loved The Care Bears as I was growing up. Loved her in Everybody Loves Raymond. RIP Mrs/Ms/Miss Engel.

Actually no, it started with that worthless piece of crap SVU, which has been renewed for a 21st FUCKING season!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

When the Mothership was LEAGUES better! Fuck you, Dick Wolf for being a miserly cheapskate!!!!!!!!

    No, not bitter. AT ALL.

So much this. Law and Order (original recipe) had class. SVU used to, but now that it's the St. Olivia hour. Hell no.

It (SVU) needs a label that says:  May cause instant rage.

XFiles:  May cause you to throw your controller at the television.

The Brady Bunch:  Caution -- this show's theme song may get stuck in your head

I wish I could give a like and a sad — I like this commercial, too, but it makes me sad, seeing all of those folks who have beamed up.

    I know 😢.

  4. Just heard about this MCI commercial via Tumblr... but I love it! 😄 It has both Star Trek TOS actors it and a TNG actor in it as well.

I've only seen Mariska Hargitay in Law and Order:SVU, but I cannot stand her and her constant nasty bitch face.

Speaking of that show, I can't stand Ice T either.  He always looks like he smells something awful.

Both of them are damn lucky they got roles on a long-running show because they're not very good actors.

I can't stand her character on SVU, but I respect her work with charities.

As for Ice T, I don't mind him either. His character is ok.

I find them to be better actors than some out there. But I wish that Olivia wasn't so annoying.

Fact: we all love video doorbells.

Fact: we all hate the Scott brothers.

This is me too. I can't stand that commercial. And every time they mention video doorbells... I'm like... I hate them. Internet of things creepiness. Anything good aside, I wouldn't want something in my house that can/could be remotely hacked.

Yep- Alex has been a part of my life since I can remember watching TV. My own dad would watch the news with dinner and then follow that with Jeopardy. I do the same with my own kids (my kids are young enough that dinner is well over by the time Jeopardy airs here) but they know Jeopardy time is after dinner and my oldest (9) sits and tries his best to give some correct answers (he'll surprise himself every now and then).

I was sickened when I heard the news!

Same here. Grew up watching him, he's like family. Watched it to learn, and stayed due to his good humor and attitude.

It's sad that Luke Perry passed but I'm probably the only 80s kid that didn't watch BH90210 so I'm not too fazed.  He always seemed like a down to earth guy who probably could have been a bigger star but went his own way and still had a respectable career.  Keith Flint on the other hand is hitting me hard, I loved the Prodigy, my gateway band into good electronic music.

Yea it is. Didn't watch 90210 either, but I did hear of it. Respected him for how he went on in his career and his life.

  9. Really like Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu so far. Gotten 7/8 badges and I'm having fun battling and catching Pokemon. Hoping that the new Pokemon RPG coming out later this year keeps the same art style. The graphics really pop.
