  1. Wouldn't Scully fit this trope sometimes? Not the TV residents part, but the TV doctors one in a way. I'd like to add in... sex scenes that don't add up to much of anything. Grow up, show runners. I don't mind some teasing, but when it gets to the point where it kind of ruins things... no matter how good the acting or the chemistry is... then it's rather silly.
  2. Heard about that one earlier. Very skeptical about it. Taking it with a big grain of salt at this point.
  3. Yea, I was hoping for Doggett to make a return. It'll be something to see James be back as Kersh though. Yep. Heck I'm curious about some of the future eps (minus MS 4 though... nope).
  4. I could hug this post. It's in part, one part of the reason why I'm not bothering with this episode again. It was one big you know what tease. And that kind of thing has gotten past old. Like what you said above. Two words, Chris: grow up. Definitely. It's such a waste and a shame. 'This' showed what those characters could be, and 'Plus One' just showed the same old song and dance.
  5. Fair point. Maybe. But he crashed and burned in my opinion with this. The dialogue was terrible. I agree about the writing. As for emotional, more so back in the day. Now not so much. This ep is not one I'll most likely be re watching. Any good writing aside.
  6. I agree with you about the coyness about the sex. It was annoying. I liked the case for what it's worth though. Just not... the convos. I agree with you there. In regards to CC's eps in s10 -- hard same. It was bad.
  7. Yep. And frankly I still laugh at the fact that he thinks that he doesn't need one. The show is beyond saving now.
  8. Word. It's why I've deleted those dialogues and in part those bed scenes from my brain. So much potential, yet so much wasted. Oh well.
  9. Maybe only one person could be shirtless at a time lol. It was kind of silly really. I don't know what he thinks... but what he said there is just ridiculous. /facepalm
  10. Word. And I respect both of their acting this go. I just... was kind of at a loss with the dialogue.
  11. They tried to get him back, but due to scheduling they weren't able to.
  12. Thank you! You nailed it about the MSR. So much didn't make much sense at all there. I couldn't just ignore parts of it either... since it was that awkward. It clashed with 'This'. Maybe if they flipped the episodes it would have worked out a bit better. But as it is now, it's awkward.
  13. Maybe. But I honestly got nothing out of it. *shrug* Yep. I ignore the 'I love you' scene in Triangle since I view it as more CC games. But that said, he did do the rest of them. Honestly though, this kind of wrecked who M and S were to me before. Reducing it to FWB's. Exactly. It's just so silly. The S rating was meaningless. Since there was no real physicality, minus some 'sexual' nudity. That said, I liked the case for the most part. Nice and creepy.
  14. Exactly. Guess it's just what CC wants or thinks that fans want. Thing is a lot of us have grown up and grown past that. And that line made no damn sense. Really CC? Screw you. Yep and frankly I wanted to punch a pillow SO hard after that. It made me angry. Not happy or excited. Word. He managed to shoot the show in the foot for good as far as I'm concerned there. Way to destroy a relationship that meant something.
  15. It's CC's idea of a bad joke. No you're not. Glen got it, CC missed it. I'm one shipper who is NOT squeeing. Really. Didn't really like the moments that much. :\ Saw better ones. Thought that DD and GA did alright in it though. But I liked IWTB's bed scene and the moments in the Truth far better. Congrats CC, you managed to out do yourself in terms of not doing much of anything at all. Very, very disappointed with it.
  16. Exactly! It's why I'm sticking with 'This' as canon. CC makes no damn sense. He's not clever, he's just annoying. It's why I didn't like the scenes we got. We had them before and they were better (especially the one in IWTB). These ones left me shrugging my shoulders.
  17. I liked the lighting and the pacing in this ep... and I liked the creepy bad guys. That's about it.
  18. Why I love 'This'... Mulder and Scully are played as being essentially (at least in my opinion) as being married (so in a way it's now canon). Big thanks to David, Gillian and Glen Morgan for it.
  19. I'd do so for this ep, but I haven't even watched very much of it for a second time. Those damn quick cuts just make it damn near impossible for me to do so. That said, I like this new season other wise. Couldn't care less about the myth arc. William aside, I'm hoping that MS 4 doesn't resort to that baloney. Had to go to EatTheCorn just to get the plot straight. Quick cuts do that for me. Distract me.
  20. It's written by her and another writer, Shannon Hamblin. I have a bit of faith there, given that Glen is the one who's directing it.
  21. CSI. Once they did an episode that kept on hitting viewers over the head with the Gil/Sara divorce. Screw that. I walked away from the show at that point and never looked back (at least until I hate watched the finale). I don't like shows that condescend/talk down to viewers. That really pisses me off. Same with House. The House/Cuddy break up was messy as hell. Walked away from that mess. Only returned for the finale.
  22. Definitely! Minus Glen and Darin's efforts and what James brought to the table. And I sure as heck wouldn't trade the handcuff innuendo for the world either ;). That was CC pushing the violence envelope.
  23. Could be. But frankly, I'd take this reality over the mess that was s10 any day (in regards to CC's eps -- I want to forget that part of the season EVER existed).
  24. Just saw this one today, Culligan Water's new ad, a nod to the movie, Princess Bride.
