Chris must have gobbled up the asparagus and rye bread from the platter in the background. Looks delicious.

Amy looks hung over. But still very pretty.

Pretty?????  I hope you are joking.

Same here.  I might not always have time to click the like buttons or respond, but I do read the comments.  And for some reason it brightens my day.

Happy Holidays to all my fellow Prime Timers.  I have some Robert Burns single malt whisky that I will have tonight in celebration of the holidays and  all of you guys.  🥃

I need help. I’m crushed. Last night my neighbor (Mr Chemo) told me that I need to up my wardrobe game. That I look like a homeless person or someone’s poor relative. Although I do like to dress casually, I do try to put effort in and buy outfits that are coordinated. Not cheap stuff either. I’m very hard to dress as I’m 4’9” and only weight 88 lbs. I’m also older…too old to wear children's clothes. So friends, where do I find a personal stylist?

Why would you give a second thought what this *** thought about anything???  He’s an abuser and a user!!

hi friends. i have been away from the desk for a bit. we have had a tragedy in our family. my beautiful 18 year old niece was involved in a car accident a couple days ago. she was devastatingly injured (no gory details). we learned this morning that she will not survive. they did a 3rd CT searching for brain life and as of now i have not been called with the results. however when i saw her yesterday in the icu, something in my spirit prepared me for the worst. i will say that out of the sadness of this situation, God sent me two undeniable signs that He was with her when she needed. you all know my belief system and when i tell you that signs of angel intervention were seen, i mean it.  i am so grateful for that gift.  my family is , naturally, destroyed by this  situation. i am not a cryer, and so i have 'purposed' (gotta have some levity here) not to cry and to be the strong big sister that they need right now. my time will come. i am so sad....on many levels that i cant even get into right now. just so sad..

I am so sorry for your unbelievable loss.  My prayers are with you and your family for the strength to get through this difficult time.  May you all find peace knowing your beautiful niece is with the angels.

So today, my hubby got tested positive for Covid.  He’s 50 with diabetes.  I’m scared.  He’s coughing.
A good friend of mine is 45.  She’s in the icu, on a ventilator, in critical condition with Covid.
Today my horse got sick with colic.  I had her put down. it was horrible. She was 27, a long life for a horse.  But it was and is horrible.  She suffered horribly for a few hours.
My mom died 2 years ago.  I was with her when she died.  I need my mom
I just can’t with this.  I’m terrified for my husband.  I owned my horse for 24 years and saw her in terrible pain and saw her put down.
This morning I got up, life was good.  Now my horse is dead and my husband has Covid.  I can’t.

OMG, I am so sorry you are going through this.  My prayers are with you and your husband and best friend for a quick recovery for both of them.  You’ll see your beloved horse at the rainbow bridge and I think she is now with your Mom.  I am so sorry.
