Her shows never made money and were in fact financed with Tom's ill gotten gains. Remember we saw her close/lose her studio and all the show stuff in it. IF it was a real career, that paid for itself she would have kept going.

I think it was the “public-ness” of this at the fashion show that made me cringe. Of course it was Sutton’s event and she could do and say anything she wanted. Using her time in the spotlight to ask her daughter for validation felt awkward and needy to me. Not a big deal and certainly not the most inappropriate thing I’ve seen on this show.

Yes! Kyle has done her mammogram on camera before and I hope she continues it. I remember once they asked her to stay back because the Dr. wanted to talk to her and I think she honestly had a panic attack (as I have in a similar situation). However, I can't imagine Kathy wearing a sundress that she just pulled down would be allowed for anyone else. That was unusual.

You had me until Rinna, lol. I thought she just became too toxic which is really saying something for this show! But I am enjoying snarking on the rest. Kathy Hilton has lived her entire adult life in the rarefied air of the Hiltons and boy does it show.

Well, someone bought a house with cash and added her name to the deal. But it wasn't Erika. 😉 Speaking of whom, what effing trauma did Erika survive???? The way her mother and she were talking one might think she escaped some abusive marriage instead of walking out the minute the money stopped. I think there was a some gossip site a while ago linked on her forum reporting she had just bought a multi million house with cash but I don't know for sure.

I don't disagree. And Dorit can be the worst at picking at something long after she should let go. These women often seem obsessed with each other's drinking/not drinking. At the beginning of the season they were giving Kyle a hard time about staying sober, which I thought was strange.

Of course Sutton is a snob, the worst kind in my opinion. And if she had the fine southern manners she claims she wouldn't mention her money at all much less use it as evidence of some sort of superiority. No, I did not take the insult personally; I'm not competing with these famewhores. I think if last season Sutton was so damaged by Dorito speculating she has an alcohol problem it didn't stop her from getting repeatedly smashed on camera, including at home in the middle of the day when Kyle came to talk (the infamous "Name 'em " scene). At least she's kept it off camera this season or at least not as noticeable but seriously, how hard can it be to not get drunk on camera, especially if someone is sensitive to comments about their drinking? None of this excuses Dorit for her snobbery (is that a word?) but I've never seen Sutton as one of the common people.

I did not know that... great news for Kyle! In fact when Jennifer said all the women would be wearing caftans all I could think of was Kyle and her affection for the style, although she seems to have backed off that in recent years; maybe because they are now in style, lol. Now I want to wear a flowy Mrs. Roper caftan and eat a big buttered baked potato, sans caviar since my tastes run more toward crumbled bacon. 😛

Especially when she's served KFC at a dinner and loves scrambled egg sandwiches on white bread. There isn't anything wrong with that but Sutton rarely misses a chance to show us what a snob she can be on the show.

I would really like to know where these 'sustainable, green' clothes are manufactured, if Sutton even knows. She seemed confused when explaining the supply chain to Reba. There is nothing I could find about this on the website. Why am I picturing 10 years olds in an Asian sweatshop?

True, but the party was never going to be inside. Sutton could have (and I would have) continued out to the backyard and got a drink (all the service people were there, plus the kids, plus presumably someone watching the kids) and hung out there. While Sutton seems to have a penchant for digs at Dorito, maybe she just wanted to stay in the air conditioning rather than the 94 degree heat? As rude as Sutton can be, Dorit, the SOLE hostess, being upstairs for 30+ minutes after your guests start arriving is probably the worst. Either way, Dorit and Sutton have been rude to each other for years; the sisterhood of low blows and antagonizing each other. I'm over all of it.

Both Dorito and Kyle are living through big marital changes but in my opinion that's where the commonality stops. They are not the same. Kyle spent 30 years as a team with Maurico. They raised four kids together, worked hard at legit careers together, and built a pretty damn good life. My theory is when Kyle hit some sort of crisis (the death of her best friend?) she probably thought she could count on him and was a little stunned when she could not and obviously still grappling with that. My heart clutched a bit when they showed the gossip pic of Maurico and some woman 20 years Kyle's junior embracing in Greece. The end of any 28 year partnership is sad to me. Dorito and PJ are grifters, wannabe social climbers who haven't been together even a decade. I don't know who's raising their kids (are the two nannies still on the payroll?) but I know it's not PK and both their sources of income have been a mystery since we met them. Instead of staging shrines to PK and all the woe is me over him, I honestly think Dorito would do better to start looking around for her next husband.

And then in her talking head she told us she would have forgiven Sutton everything if Sutton had just given her the handbag, the handbag Sutton was using. Weird.
