S14.E10: Sweet Home Augusta
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
And ideally, a little bit deaf as well. That's why I referenced Camille - she was about Dorit's age when she married her current husband but maybe she had the money, he's an attorney who had defended a shady fraudster and divorced his wife. But yes, in general any older guy with real money is looking for a 30 something. -

I can't figure out why Dorit is so broken up over PK wanting a divorce. I don't see any great loss there. It's not for the money and if she ever was in love with him I think by the time she is talking about what an absent father he was/is and the "raging alcoholic" stuff she's over it. Dorit is young enough and pretty enough to find a real moneybags. She could take a page out of Camille's book and gold dig a new husband. But of course she would have to stop being the victim and more importantly stop talking about being a victim.- 262 replies

Not just southern. Myself and everyone I know was raised this way and none of us are from the south. -

Watching Sutton so desperate to get any sign of approval from her mother for her vanity boutique was jarring, since Sutton generally seems so confident. It makes me wonder why Reba agreed to be on the show again; surely she knows how cold she appeared. -

On camera to people she just met! I really liked Garcelle's quick response, to smile and say, "I've got one too." Weird isn't necessarily bad but I think having your Grandma say that about you on TV would be hurtful.- 262 replies

Exactly. No one is just one thing. I had a similar mother, with narcissistic tendencies and was also smart, hardworking and independent with (long before wives and mothers were independent) with lots of friends and I miss her everyday. -

I actually lol when she told us how throwing a dinner party (for three HWs) was EXHAUSTING. Unless she meant exhausting for her staff setting the table, making the food, and cleaning it up. Geeze, the woman doesn't even bother to get herself ready - she's got a whole team to do that while she lounges around.- 262 replies

I think they are fighting over the debt at this point (who is going to be responsible) and I also think there is a LOT of debt. PK and Dorito have been living above their means for years.- 262 replies

S14.E09: Beachy Keen
Cosmocrush replied to Salacious Kitty's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Thank you for the tip @Pattycake2! This looks like a great show, wish my local PBS carried it. I have to say that becoming a RHOBH does make me think a little less of her otherwise stellar career. I cannot imagine what her and Dumb Dorito have to talk about. Maybe that's why Boz just listens and lets Dorito ramble on. And on. And on. If anyone is interested in checking this out here is a link to the episode. -

Well by definition, signing up for a Bravo reality show is "HEY EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME!!!" The loud fashion is just an extension of that. Dorito, Erika, Sutton, Garcelle, and Kyle all do that in their own ways. Boz's way is big bright colors. -

Thank you! I wasn't sure what that was! I thought it might be a handbag, lol. Well, since Dorito called him a "raging alcoholic" and PK himself said he had recently stopped drinking altogether I think we know the answer. 😏 I know I can't even listen to Dorito on this show without a glass of wine.- 127 replies

S14.E8: A Perfect Storm Out
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Yep. Dorito made a comment like, "Are those your comfy clothes?" like a total mean girl housewife looking to get in a dig. I wish Kyle had said something like, "At least my outfit is paid for" lol. Seriously, if I still liked something I had from 2004 (and still fit into it), I would wear it too. Besides while she's gotten better, Kyle really doesn't have the best fashion sense. (Remember the caftens?) -

Her choice to align with Dorit does make me question her judgement, but no more than choosing to be on this show. Remember when the premise was to watch the lives of the overprivileged women in Beverly Hills? Seems like all they really do is fight with each other. Now, either by design or reality none of these women seem to be doing anything interesting or at least show the interesting part of their lives. The most interesting thing this season about Sutton is her friend Jennifer Tilly. Garcelle finished her dream beach house - yawn. Erika seems to have completely moved on from her husband's greed and victims to..... getting new furniture that someone else picks out? To me Dorit was never very interesting but constantly picking fights with Kyle over trivial stuff is double boring especially when it seems she has some real drama in her life right now. Kyle being separated and sober is super last season. Boz had the potential to have a good story but outside of aligning herself with Dorit right off the bat, all she's shown me is a really lame date with her guy and living in some fantasy where they are going to have babies. -

That house in BH is still standing. The house she lost was her Malibu beach house. Still terrible but she still has her house in Beverly Hills where they filmed the spa party. The thing with Dorit and Kyle is basically Dorit looking for something to fight with Kyle over and thus keep the spotlight on herself. First it was that Kyle said she and Dorit weren't that close which pissed Dorito off. Then Kyle told someone, I forget who, that PK is still in touch with her via texts, mostly memes and jokes. Dorito blew a gasket and Kyle showed a text she sent to PK when the news of the divorce broke, telling him she would never disclose anything he had (previously) told her and would always respond to his memes with a laughing emoji. Everyone went crazy over that, especially Dorito who frankly has much bigger things to be worried about but apparently this will keep her job being a HW until we all get bored to death over it, which I already am. -

That's worse, lol! Thanks for the info @amarante. The reason I've always referred to it as a pool house (besides the size in that neighborhood) is it backs right up to the pool but if the structure was there prior to the pool the strange placement makes more sense. -

I think this makes sense. We know Kyle has longtime real girlfriends outside of the HWs and I can't see any reason to mend things with Dorit other than this show. Same with Sutton, etc. -

I don't disagree but why this issue? I find all their fuss over a dumbass text that Kyle herself volunteered boring as hell. No one thinks Kyle is up to something with PK. Dorit needs spend less time looking for something to fight with Kyle about a start talking to her children about why Dad and his stuff have disappeared from their home.- 147 replies

S14.E8: A Perfect Storm Out
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Heh, agree. But this is Beverly Hills and I'm sure it is not unusual for a teenager to be gifted a luxury car. At least it was an SUV and not a fast little sportscar. -
S14.E8: A Perfect Storm Out
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Exactly! I honestly don't see the big deal, outside of all of them trying to pick Kyle apart. Kyle has been on this show since day one, and this dumb text is the best they can come up with to pile on her? Surely no one, including Dorit thinks Kyle is remotely interested in PK. Lame. But Dorito was desperate for a storyline and fighting with the queen bee about a text apparently guarantees one production approves. I'm so bored with it and apparently it's still not over. I felt like Garcelle when Dorit decided to sit down and talk at Garcelle at the backyard gathering. Serene Spa Day is never going to happen while Dorito is awake. I used to find Dorito benign but her constant yapping over everything and nothing is like a slow dripping faucet on my nerves. -
S14.E7: What the Chuck?
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I can see that. And there really isn't anything to gained by publicly trashing Mauricio. After all, he is her children's father and she is also a founding partner in his business. If infidelity was involved, I kind of appreciate Kyle not wanting to make it a storyline. And then there is Dorito repeatedly calling PK a "raging alcoholic" publicly. I can't see any upside for Dorit or her kids to take down PK so publicly, especially since PK is now sober. I think she was hurt and pissed when he left and wanted sympathy.- 182 replies

S14.E7: What the Chuck?
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Agree. If this guy (forget his name) really wanted to have kids he wouldn't be dating a 47 year old woman. I think you mean Sugar Daddy. And no, not one she wants us to know about anyway. But somebody is funding her lifestyle and it's not (exclusively) Bravo. My guess it's someone too old to use Google.- 182 replies

Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Good point. And that's what probably draws her to them initially, but I'm guessing Dorit is really just interested in people who will listen to her endless monologues. Fabulous lifestyle like Chuck E. Cheese, lol? Erica interviews that she thought she would be whisked away on a private jet to somewhere fabulous but she . "likes Chuck E. Cheese." Please, I highly doubt Ericka has ever been inside a Chuck E. Cheese; why would anyone go there without kids? Erika casting herself as Tom's victim is beyond ridiculous. Even IF she didn't know how her "fabulous" career was being financed before, once she found out she could not have cared less about the real victims, ONLY how it affected her.- 182 replies

S14.E6: Venom in the Viper Room
Cosmocrush replied to ZettaK's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Yes, of course she is clearly mad and lashing out at everyone. But, (and this is no way a defense of Dorit) Sutton yelling that back to her wasn't helpful and I would expect a friend (or even someone friendly) to understand that without shouting it back to me in front of everyone. It would feel like an attack. Does that make sense?
