  1. There's a lot of fan art for HOTD floating around. Some good some ehhm.....interesting. But this one caught my eye as I really love the artist's style and capture of Aemond. The artist's name is Aleksandra Skiba.
  2. It would be if you were of noble birth and previously allowed to come and go as you pleased. Just my take. 🤷‍♀️ I purposely left the final part of Eve's EW quote out since it borders on politics which isn't allowed on these boards. But if this type of quote is okay, good for me to know.
  3. But that doesn't mean the Greens don't already have a plan in motion to take out her granddaughters.
  4. Lots of views on this board which keeps it interesting. I'm the opposite. The more I read makes me respect Rhaenys (and thus Eve Best), even more. Based on her performance in recent episodes, I think she would have made one heck of a queen.
  5. Just my take but locking Rhaenys her in her room thus preventing her from leaving and letting Rhaenyra know what is going on? By not being fully informed or allowed to leave, how can Rhaenys be sure her granddaughters are safe?
  6. Right there with you even though it seems many here didn't enjoy this scene. Eve herself said of the armor in her EW interview: From the same EW interview Eve also expounded on why Rhaenys makes the choice not torch the Greens: The beast beneath the boards (my take):
  7. I agree with many of your thoughts but not this one. She knows he's a rapist, she knows what Aegon puts her own daughter through. By now she most likely knows he has little bastards running around and perhaps even about the child fighting pits. I think she's more concerned about what will happen to her children if Rhaenyra becomes Queen so goes along with Aegon being crowned. I disagree on this one. Are Dreamers literal (boards vs stone) in their visions? I don't know but Aegon was inside that stone contraption, not under it per my take. Exactly. I keep wondering when someone will put together the fact there is more than one Aegon. Or why Alicent didn't wonder herself about Viserys' other mention of the prophecy since she truly didn't understand & probably assumed it was milk of the poppy speaking.
  8. “And yet you toil still in service of men. Your father, husband, your son. You desire not to be free but to make a window in the wall of your prison”. 🔥 #NailedIt
  9. I had a feeling the beast under the boards meant a dragon. But I had no clue it would erupt when and where it did. Talk about a penultimate moment. It literally made me sit up from where I was laying on the sofa. I didn't want to miss one nanosecond of that interaction!
  10. Well Rhaenys definitely rang her bell. Good on the show runners giving Eve Best her due moment. Anyone know how bad dragon halitosis breath is? My guess is it's on the far side of heinous.
  11. I feel exactly the same. I've tried many times to follow. A few times I got in only to be removed a few short days later. I never post on any of the girl's SM so not sure what happened. The photos I was able to see, of her outdoors enjoying nature or with animals, were my favorites.
  12. Girl next door has always been my preference. I don't need the glam pageant style which seems very fake to me. Bridget was approachable, humble and the kind of girl I bet would be a blast to hang out with. She also seemed to greatly care about her teammates as witnessed when she thought Lily and Meredith were cut. Bridget has an infectious laugh and personality that draws people in. I loved her affection and connection with animals which is what first drew me to her. But she was a solid dancer and had just the right amount of spark to her performance without being overdone. The show or team has never been the same for me since she retired.
  13. Emma really is. I love how humble she is in this short clip. Funny too. Re: Matt - same. I really enjoyed his performance in The Crown. Learning how generous he is to his fellow actors is icing on the cake for me.
  14. I freely admit I wasn't certain I would like Emma Darcy. That's how much I enjoyed watching Milly Alcock's interpretation of Rhaenyra. But Emma has happily surprised me and with each passing episode, I enjoy her Rhaenyra even more. For me, this brief clip only adds to Emma's likeability and my already cemented admiration of actor Matt Smith.
  15. She may be a sap but so am I. I'm a mess. What a miracle of a journey Zhenya has been through. https://www.instagram.com/p/CjtPuv0jSJ1/
  16. Can you imagine training a dog named “No”? 😆 I know the show had its issues but I’m also going to miss it. I still miss Paris.
  17. 16.5? Yeah I missed that. Sasquatch much? LMAO. In various places I’ve seen his age listed as 20, 22 & 28. No way am I buying 20. Even if it is somehow true.
  18. Did you ever watch Game of Thrones: The Last Watch? They show the process of getting Emilia prepped and into her Daenerys wig. I work in the film industry and have seen how long certain hair and make-up effects take so I believe the two hours could be accurate. The prep of getting the skull cap on properly prior to the wig, takes time. Re: the broken hip - I was never able to find a cause, just that it happened during filming. According to his Mom who posted about it on IG, Leo fractured his hip and was on bed rest from filming and school for 4 weeks: https://www.instagram.com/p/CW_Y1JAroTo/
  19. Depending where you look, Ewan's age seems to be a mystery. The above from this Bustle article. Not sure of the veracity of this article Ewan Mitchell Biography, Age, Height, Weight, Wiki which lists Ewan's age as 28. Now that's an age I could believe.
  20. How did La Brea get a season 2 but The Lost Symbol did not?
  21. The costume department outdid themselves in the details of this dress. Definitely one of my favorites.
  22. Matt Smith says so much with only a sigh. What a moment between these two.
