The beginning with Wynter and the painter was really good. I'm glad they showed some of who he was and why his murder was so terrible. He was so exhausted by his job and the crazy, endless night. When Cordelia imagined him in front of her and explained his thought process, I choked up a bit. I was disgusted at how the people around him treated him after he died. I hope they get charged with something for it. The murderer was completely heartless.

It was weird that the President had people with him while he was taking a shower. I'm assuming that he hugged the engineer while he was naked, too. Wynter was very cold (no pun intended!), when he just wanted the engineer to move on to the next problem without thanking him for fixing the outstanding issue. This show throws so much out there, I forgot that people were rushing out of the White House for some reason. Facing an actual attack would have been so scary. It was good to see the bonding that came after the fact, I'm not sure it lasted long. LOL at the First Couple leaving behind the drunk mother.

I felt sad that the case was shut down because of expediency. I'm glad that the Chief was willing to go down for her, though. LOL at how a random guy was able to get into the White House. I really hope some of the Secret Service guys were fired for letting him in. Woah at the end, though. Why would you volunteer to go in front of a Senate hearing and lie to them so blatantly?

What a cute kid at the beginning. I love that his parents slept through everything and he had a business card made. Harry seems like a real asshole. There's no need to treat the staff that way, and I don't like his condescension toward Cordelia. I hope they nail him for something.

I enjoyed the opener with Cordelia's mini-case and explaining it to her nephew. I just kept laughing at Sheila. If she behaved so unprofessionally with the former First Lady, I'm surprised she was kept on the job. Especially since she helped steal stuff from the White House. I couldn't believe the incompetence of the social director. There would be major complaints if guests kept being moved around during a State dinner. I loved that Cordelia kept groaning whenever the "guru" appeared.

I just realized what was meant by "First Gentleman". I don't know why it didn't click until this episode. I can't believe they agreed to the wellness booths during the holidays. It's interesting to see all the conflicts playing out. Marvella the chef continues to show how crazy she is. I can't believe she poured out all the sugar on the floor.

I loved the widely varying recounting of what happened. It seems true to life too. Marvella the chef seemed extreme. I'm surprised Rylance went for someone so unbalanced. I'm glad they had people hold up paper showing name and occupation, I would never remember. I barely remember now due to the large amount. I wonder who the party crashers were?

The jumping around in time thing threw me a bit, but I slowly got used to it. The advisor/best friend seems almost too obvious to be a suspect, but the Australian team being involved is interesting! I wasn't expecting for Kylie Minogue to actually appear, I thought they would use a random actress shown from a distance. I loved the Secret Service agent's obsession with the celebrities.

I enjoyed this. I was surprised at how Depp went all in with the physicality. The lighting was great, it really amped up the tension in some scenes. I wasn't expecting for Orlok to look like that. When they showed him clearly, I was grossed out. I just felt sad for everyone throughout the movie.

It's a little distracting to see all these actors from varying fandoms in one episode. I didn't even suspect that Tula was insincere with her boyfriend. I was thinking she would end up pregnant and lose the baby, or she would be attacked by one of his family members. It's ice cold what she did to the Atreides. Valya's mother seemed to be right - she does seem to corrupt her siblings to follow some insane grudge. Do we know if the basis of her hatred against the Atreides is correct? So it seems the Sisterhood is relying on banned machine technology. I wonder how Raquella agreed to that, since her husband was killed in the wars. The difference between the Harkonnens here and the ones in the movies is a bit strange. I guess they eventually evolve into pale, bald people?

I wonder what the Emperor thinks he's doing? He just exchanged one magic user for another to prop up his own power. Even though Desmond says he's just a loyal soldier, I hope the Emperor doesn't believe that. It's interesting that Desmond isn't affected by the voice. When Tula said the Agony would unlock her foremothers, I thought they would only be direct relatives. I wasn't expecting for the murdered lady to show up. Poor Lila. Constantine is a moron. Using sex for interrogation is a very old skill. I'm not sure why he thought she wouldn't do the same to him. It appears no one is as they seem in this episode. I'm guessing the bartender/Sister really supports the rebels after all.

It was an interesting premiere. The Emperor kept making concessions to the guy building his ships, he looked so weak. He was cruel to his wife, too. He's probably not going to be my fav. Are the witches very long lived? It looked like Raquella was in the machine war, but that was a century previously. Valya is stone cold - if you're in her way, you're up shit's creek. When the little boy started rubbing at his hand, I thought the soldier poisoned him somehow. I wasn't expecting pyrokinesis. The voice in the abyss was very creepy. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I had to pause this episode and spoil myself on what was going to happen, it was very tense. It's disgusting that Francis was able to ignore what Oz did to her other sons, just for the chance to live big in a penthouse. Oz was maybe 13 when he killed his brothers, and I'm guessing he's in his fifties in the end. I couldn't stomach being in the same vicinity as the man. Francis' greed gave Oz the opportunity to destroy so many lives. Even at the end, Oz couldn't admit to what he done and was willing to let Sofia's henchmen cut off her finger. He's absolute scum. Poor Victor and Sofia. I was hoping that Sofia would get away. That ending was messed up - Eve is now a surrogate for his mother?!

I love how they made New Hampshire and the ride up to it so dark and menacing. I loved the opening credits! I couldn't tell what was on Lazslo's and Nadja's plates, but I think they were sucking fingers? I didn't really laugh too much at this episode, but I did enjoy Nadja's telekinetic yell that threw Lazslo into a car and her "oops" afterward. Even Guillermo's cringe at Nadja's odd come-on to the cop. I really enjoyed the look at the relationships between Nandor and Guillermo, and between Nadja and Lazslo. It was nice to have a sincere moment every once in a while.

Wow, I was not expecting the opening. He was a psycho all along, nobody made him that way. He's a cold bastard, his mother is the only person to matter to him. He easily gave up his men when he saw the bomb. I wasn't expecting for Sal's ending, either. Of course, Oz had to lie and say that he killed him. I'm surprised to see that Francis is still alive. I hate that Vic is caught up in this mess for a guy who has no loyalty to him.

The beginning scene was tough. I can't even imagine going through something like that. Oz is very good at manipulating people. He inserts a bit of the truth and he's almost got me believing him. I'm surprised Vic invited Graciela to Oz's place and told her what type of person he worked for. I really hope nothing happens to her. I wonder if Sofia's therapist is the supplier of Bliss. I would be wary associating with a drug used on psych patients. I'm surprised Viti felt so comfortable talking shit to Oz when he was just caught fucking the boss's wife. I had to look away when Oz shoved the phone in his mouth, but I caught the caption that said "tooth breaking". Ugh!

Even thought Adar pushed things with trying to break into Eregion, I still felt sad when his children betrayed him. I was shocked to see what the ring did to him. The Orcs shouldn't have been surprised at how easily Sauron turned on them, he never loved them at all. I enjoyed the fight between Sauron and Galadriel. Some of the blows and kicks looked really hard. Poor Celebrimbor. Sauron is a very sadistic creature. It looked like he smeared his blood on the blade before he killed Celebrimbor. I hope that doesn't mean he will be brought back as some undead creature. I don't really care too much about the hobbits or Numenor. The leader had to know that his fiance was about to leave him, right? I was surprised to see him reaching out for her hand as Isildur left. There were great special effects during the Balrog scene.

It's a shame that Oz's own mother is pushing him to raise the stakes. He's tap dancing on a very thin rope. Wow, Sofia killed 7 women? Yikes. Her cousin shouldn't have tried to reach out to her if she didn't mean it. I really hope Sofia won't do anything to that kid. It looks like her therapist is a bit too close to her. She pulled away, but I wonder if she's going to give in eventually. Oz's lesson to Vic was harsh, but necessary. I wonder if Oz's lady friend is going to turn on him. I thought I saw a look in her eyes.

I liked this episode. I'm glad Amazon had the funds to show a great battle. It seemed silly that Durin and Disa were the only two to block the mine entrance and were successfully able to hold off a group of miners. How did the king slaughter a whole group of them? Does the ring give supernatural strength? I couldn't help but laugh at the lackluster end of the lady with a crush on Sauron. I wasn't expecting that at all. I laughed at Sauron's sarcasm about the mouse too. The whole facade must have been wearing on him now that he's so close to the end. Celebrimbor was bad-ass, willing to cut off his own thumb. Holy crap at the extent of Sauron's power, though. I really hope that isn't the end for Arondir.

When Oz busted into the safe, it looks like there was a picture of Michael Kelly's character. I wonder who he sent it to. Oz's smooth-talking of Falcone Jr. was good - he immediately targeted his addictions to lower his guard. I couldn't believe Falcone Jr. felt bold enough to humiliate Oz like that. He should have had guards with him at all times. I wasn't sure how he get out of his situation, but it was very smart to set the families against each other. Those poor college kids, though. I enjoyed this.

I wasn't as frustrated with this episode, I enjoyed it. I was just wondering why Elendil didn't tell his daughter what really happened and why her friend was killed. The stoic warrior thing was a bit annoying. Sauron looks completely evil in his elf form. I jumped when he appeared in Khazad-dum and when he slammed the window on Celebrimbor. I was glad he defied Sauron about going outside, but damn at that illusion! That's some insidious stuff. They had some good special effects this episode. I hated the episode ended there!

I'm assuming magic is what's making Celebrimbor so gullible. If not, then he's a stupid bastard for a being so old. Did the naive elf-smith just make the One Ring of Sauron? She seems she's lost a couple of brain cells to immediately think the worse of her boss and believe every word out of Sauron's mouth. Why on earth is the slimy king's son determined to shit all over everything? Pissing off the faith seems to be a bad idea. Of course he would stab someone in the back. I wanted Elendil to slap the shit out of his daughter. Her smug tone would have driven me up the wall. This episode frustrated me because of everyone's bad choices.

Miriel is surprisingly tolerant of being physically attacked and slandered. No matter if she lost a battle or not, no one should be allowed to get away with slapping her. I thought the eagle came for her, not the silver-haired guy. I guess it's all how you spin it. I'm surprised no one at the village is checking newcomers for the mark of Adar. They are very naive. That was a shitty thing the kid said to the elf guy. I hope the elf washes his hands of him. It's so creepy seeing Sauron manipulate Celebrimbor like this.

Yep, I agree that Galadriel is stupid withholding information from the king. Her vision even showed the count of rings and who they'll be allocated to. I hate that she didn't tell everyone who Sauron was as soon as she discovered it. Now Celebrimbor is up shit's creek. I'm surprised the "wise" mentor is telling Elrond that humility is needed in his situation. What?? Elrond seems to be the only sane one around. I was not expecting for more Rome actors to appear! It would be great if Antony showed up. Would the dwarves really be bullying Durin like that? Even if he was on the outs with his father. Sauron is so evil. I can't imagine everything that he's capable of. I really hope Galadriel doesn't try anything now that Elrond's in charge of the mission, she admitted her judgment is compromised.

I barely remember what happened last season, but this was a good premiere. I was not expecting to see Ben Daniels - I just saw him in Interview with the Vampire, he's had a busy year! I have to know what exactly Sauron is. I wasn't expecting him to reform from sludge and devour any living thing he comes across. I wasn't sure if that was the main Sauron actor or not. Silly me, I thought he was sincere about not being evil. Feel horrible about the guy he abandoned. I don't blame Elrond at all for not trusting anything that came from the sphere of Sauron. I hate that Galadriel wasn't punished in anyway for trying to hide the fact that Halbrand was Sauron.
