  1. I’m really not trying to beat a dead horse here, but Ashley’s poor choices did not force Jay to cheat on his wife.
  2. But why couldn’t he be faithful? He’s entering into a marriage, which is his choice, so he can suck it up and do what he is presumably vowing to do. I agree with you that Ashley had the willful ignorance blinders on and shares some of the blame, but Jay made choices too and it’s not at all unreasonable to hold him accountable for said choices.
  3. I kind of just realized that I look up when I’m searching for words or thoughts - haha. I think it’s just because it cuts down on visual noise (since most ceilings are blank). But now I’m gonna be all self-conscious about it. ;)
  4. I can’t speak to activity level, but he seems like a perfectly average baby to me, in terms of size. And parental size doesn’t seem to be a factor for the size of most babies, I don’t think. My cousin’s son was a total Buddha shaped baby (and still has some glorious rolls at age 2) but she and her husband are both very trim. Babies are weird, y’all. :)
  5. I wonder why the Go Fund Me refers to him as Alex, though. Since the whole big deal was naming him Richie after Steven’s late father, this seems strange for something like a GFM. Though I guess we are lucky that it’s not MYSon, because that sure would reflect how Steven talks about him.
  6. Stephens last name Sure, but who is Alex?
  7. I’m not really sure she did know the extent of who he was, though. I think she would likely have had a general sense, but considering how many things he has offered to get for her and then not followed through (on at least a compromise of something that would fit her often unrealistically expensive preference vs. his often unrealistically miserly preference), I don’t think she would have been aware before she came to the US and actually started living with him and Mother.
  8. The more I think about Leida becoming a doctor, the more I LOL. For one thing, the costs of med school are astronomical. I work at a medical school and in a scholarship meeting, I actually saw a listing of some of the debt a few students have. Granted, undergrad could be included in that, but I saw one that was $297k. I about had a heart attack. Never mind that students are so much more driven than Leida seems to be. All she seems passionate about is being Level 1 Priority™️. Since it’s been mentioned that the schooling she had in Indonesia is akin to premed training here in the US, she would need to do 4 years of med school, get a residency slot in the Match (and I can’t imagine she would do well enough in interviews at programs, if she were even offered any interviews in the first place), do minimum 3 years of internship/residency (assuming primary care, no fellowship, and no breaks in training), then pass the Boards, etc. um...not happening.
  9. The fact that random US medical schools have recently popped up (Liberty University, etc.) isn’t helping either since again, the number of residency slots hasn’t increased accordingly.
  10. Yeah, I think I saw something about that too, but...color me skeptical.
  11. If that’s his expectation, he’s gonna be waiting a LONG time. I know she supposedly went to medical school, but it didn’t sound like she’s done residency, so that’s 3 years minimum right there.
  12. I really hope Tucker isn’t Cousin Olivered into this final season.
  13. He did, and it legit took me a few minutes after that to remember that they do indeed have a dog. I really like this show but it is one of the worst offenders when it comes to having characters who are only ever seen and/or mentioned when the plot needs them around. Poor baby and doggo must be hanging out together wondering when someone will remember they exist.
  14. Another teary-eyed listener here. I remember going to the voting booth with my parents and pulling the level to cast the vote and open the booth curtain. I don’t think our 3yo is getting as cool an experience since she watches us fill in bubbles, but she’s gone with us to every election (and we are in Virginia so have had primaries, gubernatorial, etc.) since she was born in May 2015.
  15. I seriously watched the scene at Andrew’s house as if it were a horror movie - curled up in the couch, peeking through a blanket, and whispering, “No. Nope. Oh, ISSA, NO.” Given that he wasn’t on this episode, Nanceford showing up on the Wine Down was weird but obviously fine since he is...fine. :) But stop being a turd, Nanceford - don’t make our girl doubt herself!! Teeth dreams are THE WORST, and it’s always such a relief to wake up from them and confirm that you do indeed have all of your teeth.
  16. My husband and I had the same thought. But I guess the billionth season of America’s Got Talent (which is TWO HOURS WHY) is infinitely more important. :/
  17. Same here - I am accentless. (Native of SW Connecticut - close to NYC but no NY accent, part of New England but no NE accent either)
  18. She is. Daddy gave it to her for the pain Daya had after being repeatedly beaten by guards.
  19. Agreed - she’s a garden variety bully (with a terrible accent).
  20. Same here!! That was one of my favorite 99 moments of all time, and I really want to start signing texts with “Sincerely, Raymond Holt.”
  21. And call you a dumbass for days!! (Please come and save us from the likes of Badison. BEGGING YOU, RED FORMAN!)
  22. Oh my god, seriously. She is not good, and the accent going in and out is alternately frustrating (since actors doing accents should be able to do them well or not bother at all) and pleasing (because it’s so bad that not hearing it is aural relief.
  23. I think it’s exactly the opposite - the Southie/Dorchester accent is supposed to be more working class. I think if she were supposed to be posh Massachusetts she would have a Boston Brahmin vibe instead. Re: the name Madison - I think that’s just a product of how old she’s supposed to be. I taught elementary school in the early 2000s, and it was definitely a “Madison B., Madison R., and Madison M.” type of situation. The Jennifer of its time, I think. And so they could give her the awful nickname “Badison,” which is lazy writing at best.
  24. I think she’s attempting a Boston accent but she’s failing miserably.
  25. SERIOUSLY. Given her Wahlberg talk I’m assuming she’s supposed to be from Massachusetts (and that was what I’d suspected but this confirmed it), but man - that accent is TERRIBLE. It also goes in and out so I think some of it is acting that is...not great.
