In re: somebody's look the guest judge said it would make them stop on scrolling on IG or whatever, zoom in, and maybe even give it a like. Uh, that's great but what did you think about it? Are we at the point in our existence where that is supposed to mean something tangible? Sierra should have been sent home for anti-social behavior. If the team, as a whole, had a deal that each person was assigned their own sewing machine and it was theirs for the whole challenge then Sierra should NEVER have gone on somebody else's machine. By taking Yanick's she was forcing Yanick to take another person's machine etc. etc. Sierra probably leaves her shopping cart in the spot next to hers at the grocery store as well. She is totally selfish and I'm rooting against her now.

I think Qween Kong is the most overrated queen to appear on any of the DR iterations. I really don't understand the overwhelming need for pretty much everybody to deify her. I mean, the clever, most-exalted queen ever used the same joke (NOT killing the competition) about Beverly Kills twice, Once in the chat before g'day g'day g'day and once during the reading challenge! She really doesn't say much. She was upset about BK saying she wasn't as maternal as BK came to expect and Qween Kong's response was to say something akin to: "Those words are very dangerous to me". WTF. She has absolutely nothing substantive to say save the buzzwords that are constantly falling out of her mouth.

I was disappointed with the Snatch Game. The only even-close-to-being-redeemable performance was Hannah's Liza. Orville Peck was boring and it could have been anything. Beverly's Val was boring and it missed all of Val's quirkiness. The game show contestants did the queens NO favors though. Some of their answers were AWFUL. Should have sent both Minnie and Beverly Kills home. Neither of them are winning.

Too many man breasts this season. Jada's outfit was NOT good. The message was appreciated but the execution, to me, looked a little turd-like. I figured once she got the win in the mini challenge that this was her going home episode so I was a bit disappointed. BLH's hair was a little better this week but the bar is low.

I agree. Giselle did more than the absolute bare minimum. It would be interesting to rank Giselle's Snatch Game win alongside the other victors. My kneejerk analysis is that she wouldn't have won in a year with any sort of decent competition. But that's a lot of data points to consider.

Thank you. I tend to disagree in re: picking somebody that has no discernible popular culture cachet because they could literally do anything. Nobody knows what Marie Curie was like. To me, it was the same sort of choice that Boom Boom made: picking an obscure (to most of us) person to portray in Snatch Game. Where is the thrill? Where is the daring-do?

What was brave about her performance?

The degree to which it seems everybody is fawning all over Queen Kong is super weird. Even ignoring the fact that this is a competition it feels a little heavy-handed. Speaking of... The "white privilege" conversation was just vague enough to make me believe that Hannah Conda did something REALLY turdy. Found it a bit interesting the talk of appropriation by a bunch of men freely appropriating female-ness. Ru made the correct choice for winners. They were the only duo who seemed as if they were having a good time up there. And cum! The everybody-else-on-the-bottom was strange given the critiques. There was a clear bottom team.

Brook Lynn's hair continues to shock the children! That was atrocious! Snatch Game was underwhelming, forced laughter notwithstanding. Jada did a good job of playing......Jada with a Beard. I think the queen make a big mistake when choosing a character that isn't universally known. Especially when they (Lady Boom Boom) have no discernible personality to make the impersonation pop. Vivian was ok as Tammy Faye, probably should have won -- I thought Madame Curie was boring, but ten years got that impersonation would have come with a whole bunch of runny mascara. In short, a pretty boring bunch of queens.

Can somebody explain the name Pomara Fifth? Is that an Australian pun I'm unfamiliar with?

It would not have been amiss for BLH to send BOTH Jada and Kaos home. Both outfits were AWFUL and neither of them would win the whole thing. In the preview for next week they showed BLH's hair. W in the actual F is going on north of the border? A Jheri curl? I think the correct winner was chosen but man did they lay the praise on a bit thick. Also not a lot of humility on Gisele's part when complimented on the outfit.

Shelazon's drag was rather pedestrian. Her outfit for the duo skit was, um, akin to somebody's first ever attempt at drag when they really have no idea what they're doing. It had no place in a venue supposed to highlight the best of drag. There are a few queens who stick out as having original, creative ideas. Off the top of my head, Irma Gerd and the French one (sorry). Also, Irma's partner in the skit this week (sorry). Am looking forward to a long season full of the bitchiness of Fiercilicious and Kimme Couture. ETA I was also surprised that Fierce or Bombae didn't sashay away given they basically shat upon the Rupaul song they were stuck with. No bitee the hand that feed you.

The makeup is awful on about 75% of this season's queens. Also what is up with all the mullet love?

What kind of horseshit was that Ru? Shea has underwhelmed ALL season. She does not deserve to be in the Final 4. Why is it when all the queen are out on the stage at once, they have them divided 5 on one side and 3 on the other instead of 4 and 4? Just throws me off. Jinkx and Monet were the clear winners. Raja could have done anything and called it a Balinese dance. I wasn't that impressed.

Clearly the point of this episode was to get Monet a star. All of the critiques and talking heads and comments about and by Monet were all telling the story but the plot didn't hold together that well. Monet still continues to underwhelm. She frankly plays the same character over and over. I really don't find Yvie all that odd. I mean, she certainly talks about how WEIRD she is but I find many of the other queens' quirks to be much more enticing on a people-watching level than Yvie's. I guess if you have to talk about how "ODD" you are you probably aren't as odd as you think, or you are just resting on your odd-laurels, such as they are. Strategy-wise, at this point I think it's best for the winner to block a queen with the same number of LL Stars.

I have to say that the whole plunger walk has grown VERY stale. Why can't the winning queen just say who she wants to block? Shea and Monet continue to underwhelm. I thought when Janicza gave Yvie advice for really emphasizing the Santa cumming part that Yvie didn't follow the brief, accolades to the contrary. I do think Trinity is clever but she doesn't have to have a self-deprecatory quip for EVERYTHING. Jinkx, Raja, Jaida, Trinity for Top 4 in that order. The Viv can bounce back to the UK. Happy 4th!

I think Jinkx could win a lip sync against any of the other queens....depending on the song. The older the song is, the more chance she would have of winning. I wasn't all that impressed with any of the speeches and I can never tell what is good or bad based on Ru's reactions because Ru doesn't seem to have a guiding principle of what she actually likes. I thought Raja's runway look was creative but if you need to explain it (It says Veil in French) it wasn't executed as well as it could have been. The Viv continues to underwhelm. Her drunk woman was routine and uninspired. Insipid. At this point, strategy-wise, Jinkx and Raja should give their stars to the queens who have the worst chance of earning them on their own.

I wonder how much The Viv's struggles this season (I mean, relatively speaking) come from the different culture of drag over here? Anyway, I wasn't all that impressed with her performance this week (I think Jinkx, Yvie, and maybe even Trinity performed better). I have always chalked up Jada's win to her luck that Goldblum was such a professional (Look over there!) during that challenge but she has impressed me this season with some of her wit and cleverness; not necessarily in any of the challenges but in her talking heads and interactions with the other queens. Jinkx won this challenge handily and I believe she took it a bit easy during the Lip sync so as to not put herself in the position to have to block anybody. I thought she looked a little reserved. Her door gag on the way in and her "I can only hear you 50% as well" on the way out was GOLD! Shea may be the most overrated queen (who has won) the show has had. She talks a great game and everybody is always praising her but I just don't see it.

I find Yvie's whole deal to just be really off-putting. I realize that is probably the point but, to me, it veers away from being authentically eccentric to doing weird things for the sake of being weird. Also, give the sticking-out-the-tongue every 1.5 seconds a rest for a bit. I do like the format. It's nice the queens get to stick around (although there are some I'd prefer to shantay away) but I am afraid this will lead to a more positive, heart-warming season rather than the nails-out, read-fest I yearn for. Also, I would pay to watch Jinkx Monsoon do anything for 90 minutes.

Monet's Tyson was not that good. I wanted to hear "I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah." (An actual Tyson quote). Also, it has been said above but just wanted to reiterate it is a bit weird to see a convicted rapist being impersonated on Snatch Game. I don't think it's inherently offensive but, like, you couldn't have picked a better subject....? ....Apparently not because Monet's Sheneneh wasn't very good either. I mean, it's been a while since I've watched Martin but I can't think of one thing Monet did that led me to think that that was Sheneneh. I honestly thought it was something I just wasn't familiar with. Over/Under on how many future snatch games until somebody even nears doing as well as Jinx did. Honestly they should retire it because nobody's topping Jinx's Judy Garland. It was perfect.

Probably cursed by the same demonic entity that infects her personality. There were a lot of unfortunate moustaches in the audience. Willow was the best of a mediocre lot. She was the only one of the finalists who did not seem like a version of some other queen and had her own style, sense of humor, etc. Camden shot her wad with the trip and fall reveal. Doing it a second time at the finale just seems desperate. I dislike Bosco's eyebrows. The drag ones.

Every time Kerri Kolby opened her mouth it was just a pastiche of inspirational buzz-words that, if you listen closely, don't really make any sense. I didn't miss her after her elimination. Straight guy's look was AWFUL. I get that it's a send-up but he looked bad. Did they tell Lala-Ree they were ready for her when she was only about 35% done with her makeup? That may have been the worst makeup I've seen on the show.

All this positive talk in re: Daya Betty gives me a sense of impending doom that she is Ru's choice for the win this season. I guess it's not as bad as when there is a clear-cut winner but this season's nobody's deserving of the win storyline is nearly as bad. I am getting really tired of Camden's whole "I'm shocked at how good I am" schtick.

Once again some queens freak out about a roast even though they are used to reading. It's fundamentally the same thing. The remaining queens are mediocre. I had thought that Angeria or Willow had it locked down after about episode 4 or 5 but, man, have they really faded quickly. I guess of the remaining queens the most interesting one is Willow. She has, it seems to me, a really unique sense of humor. Her unusual looks don't hurt either with the spectacle. At this point the season feels like it has gone on for 18 months and I am just ready for it to be concluded. No dog in any of the fights.
