God bless her. Every time I see Maddie's hair this season I desperately need to fix it. It looks more and more and more like a amorphic mophead. there's no movement, it just sits there. it looks awful to me. she needs cultivated curls or a better diffuser or something but i hate her hair so much. While I liked the guest choreography, it did not fit the music at all. But Cianna was working it and looked awesome. Maddie is looking increasingly soft int he midsection. Calling out Bridget and making her stand alone in front of all the other girls to correct her was uncalled for. way to make her more nervous and just tell her 'figure that out' rather than helping her figure it out, and then continued to pick on her later. Malena didn't remember half the choreo and she gets nothing? not to mention she was rushing the choreo of a DCC dance. HOW DID MALENA NOT GET CALLED INTO THE OFFICE??? even she looked damned shocked not to get called in Oh the irony of VK talking about being poised and on best behaviour at all times... sweet sweet etiquette lady, no the DCC are not role models for everybody. as a question, how often would a DCC actually eat at an event? I always figured most events were meet/greet/dance style, rather than sit down meal style. what the hell was in the lemon curd that made it green??? lemon curd should be yellow! so deeply surprised they managed to not make Kristin's cut about VK Vk's midsection during the leglift in the spot for next week...no. so bummed I won't see next week until saturday

I don't think holding your tongue if you've nothing nice to say to someone makes you 'fake'. Not asking a woman if she's pregnant because she's eaten lunch or gained a few pounds doesn't make you fake, it makes you a human being that has no business asking a woman if she's pregnant unless she appears to be crowning in front of you and needs help. its one of the most offensive things to ask because it assumes women must be stick thin at all times or they're pregnant. if you don't know that at 18, god help you. if you don't know how to function as a human being that doesn't just blurt out whatever comes to mind, while childishly grabbing and smooshing around your hair like you're 5 years old, when you're 18, your parents and the other adults in your life failed you. its one thing to act like that among friends and being silly, but another on television, in front of bosses, and other administration at your work place. if people can't think before they speak at 18, wowzah, they've got a lot of growing up to do. A LOT.

I think Kelli is one of the sweetest DCC, seems pretty honest and gennuine. I find her lash extensions or false lashes very poor for her eye size and shape, making her eyes appear much smaller than they are, and they're already quite small, which ages her a lot but I tink she's super cute and has a great smile

Debatable. Holly P and Jenna faced far harsher punishment for that (with HP being the one underage) than any player that beat his spouse ever did. if you're a guy then you'll get away wtih murder, potentially even literally, but the DCC do get punished, though to a far lesser degree if you're a favourite.

Anyone know which episode the cut will finally happen? I'm not going to get to see ep 12 until about 2-3 days after it airs and Im going to be soooo bummed not to be able to be watching it driday morning and being on here if it's ep 12 that it finally happens

I wouldn't say never, but I wouldnt be surprised if it, or cheerleaders in general get nixed sooner rather than later (though not for a while I suspect). tey're not there to entertain, not really. they're there to titilate, let's be real. they're there predominantly for men, most of whom wouldn't know a well-executed dance routine if it bit them on the ass. if ti was about the dance, they wouldn't be so proud of uniforms that are less than a yard of fabric. girls wouldn't have to maintain stringent weight and appearance criteria. its about sex. and in today's climate, increasingly, that's getting to be a harder sell with people, especially women, becoming increasingly uncomfortable with, and angered by, being viewed solely as a sex object. now, of course thats not to say that there aren't still more than enoug women happy to stride out there for the 'legacy' and 'iconic' uniform, but for all the show keeps harping on about how many hundreds of girls turn up to audition, I'd swear the audition pool gets smaller and smaller every year, and the fact the bikini calendar is outsold by the sideline suggests to me its not as much of a revenue earner as theyd like to think it is. In the last two years alone, the amount of stories, in large newspapers not just blogs, about nfl cheerleaders being a misogynistic relic that has no place in today's society have become countless. On top of that, the amount of really poor press from former nfl cheerleaders, across numerous teams, and increasing lawsuits against teams, sooner or later, they'll either have to clean up their act and pay more and stop encouraging things like EDs, OR they'll throw in the towel and end their cheerleading squads, like the Buffalo Jills after lawsuits

I was always raised that its so much sexier to only give a taste than the full banquet. if you reveal leg, you don't clevage or back etc etc. a little hint is so much sexier than 'she's wearing three postage stamps and everything is out. Eh, I don't find it that bad. People ask at their workplace every single day to not do certain things, it's hardly uncommon. Back when I was a PA, if there was something I was uncomfortable doing, for whatever reason, I raised it with my boss, and she always listened even if, occasionally, in the end I ended up having to do it anyway. Given we spent literally 24/7 together, we needed that sort of relationship where I could go to her annd vice versa. Yes,t he calendar is a part of being a DCC but its not the most important by any means and the calendar is outsold by the sidelines one anyway, not to mention a few yeears back not everyone made it into the calendar anyway, used to be about 14 girls - front/back cover &12 months - so for the rest of the squad its a wasted trip anyway. you can't go about pretending that you only hire the wholesome, girl-next-door, take her home to mom, good Christian girls, and then be surprised that some of them are uncomfortable (in the jobs or private lives) being photographed mostly naked by frankly unpleasant male photographers in utterly classless poses when you have a job that might make it difficult. if the girls that are teachers or in any other profession aare okay with it, that's there look out. surely they have the same right to request not to do it. We also don't know if it was just because Lauren herself didn't want to do it, or if her workplace was uncomfortable with it.

I really don't think she'd ever be cut, so she treats it like a game. more concerned she'll get in trouble for lying than the reality of being cut, and who can blame her? kelli reinforces that every single damn time VK gains more weight and doesn't lose it, when she blows off Jinelle, when she's immature, when she's childish, when she's overly familiar with her bosses, when she lies...every damn time, she gets away with it. what else is she supposed to glean from that than that she's bulletproof?

As a D.C. girl, I'm a Redskins gal (love watching the DCC but its in my DNA never to support the DC themselves ;) ) but even I cringe at this... The R on the belt always makes me think of Robin a la Batman and Robin. That style of legging suits nobody and is deeply unflattering (not to mention it just invites the dreaded camel toe) and the regular shorts are actually smaller thn the DCC, I swear. yikes.

ooooh lord tell me about it. because of my accident I'm on a ton of pain meds and stuff like morphine does nothing. Docs didn't believe me after my surgeries that the morphine didn't help, they kept saying 'oh you've had major surgery, if the pain relief wasn't working, you'd know' and I'm sitting there going 'THATS HOW I KNOW' and then my vein collapsed, took 7 hours to get a new canula in and then they realised, huh she's in no more pain. so i have to recover from surgery without pain meds, but the stuff Im on on a daily basis, I'm on the highest legal daily dosage of, and its nasty stuff because its the only thing that touches it because my body either laughs in the face of pain medication (or meds in general) or it metabolises it really fast. I adapt to new meds in a few days and essentially shake them off. Im an anaethetists worst nightmare (also mine because i fear waking in surgery like there's no tomorrow). the stuff Im on will cause me to go into renal failure because of the dosage and it's very nature, so I have to have that checked weekly, its putting a huge strain on my heart and Im still in pain it's just dulled enough to allow me to somewhat function. Yet my sister, she can take half a night nurse tablet (so a quarter of rec. dosage) and she'll pass out for 12 hours. I think with a lot of meds, if you're taking them as prescribed you just get the effects its designed for (and whatever side efffects your particular body chemistry throws up) but its when you abuse them tht issues start, or their 'off label' effects come into play. Like if you take adderall as prescribed, for the most part its all good, but when you start taking too much, too often, that's when other stuff comes into play. My own meds are soo damaging to my body, i cannot fathom taking something incorrectly deliberately just to get a short term effect to stay on a dance squad or the like, but then I cannot comprehend recreational drugs at all - deliberately taking something that yoou know is going to F up your body chemistry, that you've bought from a stranger, that you've no idea what its been cut with, just to party?? Do. Not. Understand

My 88 year old bridge partner knows what metoo is. that a girl of TT's age is ridiciulous, not simply because she's a woman, but also because its huge news and has been for years, (and I don't believe for a second that it in any way implies that the men shouldn't or don't have to know but the DCC has no male cheerleaders to ask. I expect men to know about it too, because it does pertain to them as well). esp on platforms like instagram and twitter, where she purports to get her news. wWere I Director, seeing a girl not know soemthing that actually pertains to her own gender especially, then why expect her to know anything else about anything else that she might be asked about? it demonstrates an appalling lack of any preparation at all, not just for the initial interview, but they knew they had the MT that day, knew they were going to be asked questions and it demonstrated she'd done zero research or homework at all, even so much as to just google 'top news stories' or the like. that's just unacceptable in a job interview situation.

i really liked that too. she knew she'd done badly, she'd composed a response, she was ready to talk about it, rather than tap dancing and avoiding and 'i don't like the situation' trying to get people to stop talking about it, just straight up, 'ok, this is what i did wrong'. showed some maturity and character

i don't think she was combative at all, either. nor was she unprofessional - if you can't join together that she wasked about injuries and then flag football, can't combine a little logic that the two are connected, then you need work and I think that's what they were looking for. it was an assessment of how well the girls coped, how well spoken they were, how much training each would need and a good indicator of how well they could think on their feet. not every question they're ever asked will come with a stock prepared answer and Kelli needs to see how well they can compose one of their own. Taylor was the fail there, not Brenda. she asked her questions literally no differently to how they'd be asked questions out in the field. these girls are exected to come to auditions with knowledge of not only football but the world around them. that they're near the end of TC and Taylor T couldn't answer that was shameful. it was something she as a woman should know, but also as an ambassador for the squad as its huge news. someone, at an event or whatever, will no doubt ask it, esp given how the girls are presented as little more than sex objects. whether its a reporter or just someone of the public, I've no doubt a girl will be asked and Taylor would have fallen on her ass
