Uh oh! Matthew Broderick tested positive and was their first this morning. Will Kelly freak out and cause reruns the rest of the week or for them to go virtual (rolls eyes - not bc I don’t covid seriously but bc I can see her/them freaking out about a close contact exposure).

Gee, surprise surprise it was live. I had set it to record bc I was curious if Kelly would mention the passing of Susan Lucci’s husband or of that was also too “newsy” to mention. Bc nothing of substance can be discussed.

But why did they have to tape the show overnight and not air live at 9 post Oscar’s? What was the benefit? Gelman has lost it as a producer.

I watched it on FF and it looked embarrassing. The Halloween show is horrible, imo, and this comes a close second. Even though Kelly has gallivanted around the world over the last year or so, somehow she/they can’t go to LA for the Oscar’s (she was just in Palm Springs recently). Mind you, the LA version of the post-Oscars show wasn’t great either but this is just stupid. Tricky that they didn’t have the “prerecorded” flash a the beginning of the show and just at the end. I figured legally or something they were required to have it in both places. So were they pretending to be live for host chat? They said they had slept in the studio. Why must they be so fake about everything?

So they don’t even go to LA anymore. They send Maria Menunos? Just finished “watching”. They mentioned it very briefly at the beginning and how they were confused but that’s all.

Does the show that avoids controversial topics at all costs dare to mention the assault on live tv?? Guess I’ll go set my DVR to find out.

Adam replied to a comment on Instagram saying they’re going to make a video on this soon. Sounds like they decided to end the show. Something to the effect of it being 100% a decision they made with their kids and family’s interests at heart.

Sorry I missed it. Wait, no I am not. Can someone who enjoys this show explain what they ebjoy about it? So, are they going to LA for the Oscar’s?

Pre-recorded again today. Now that I think of it…she was on an extended vacation two years ago (when she pretended she was home) but was stuck in the Caribbean(?) for months bc of COVID. So perhaps March is just a month of no work for her/them. Seriously, change the name of this show!! Ate they going to California for the Oscars this year?

When are they going to bring back a live studio audience? They’re the only show without one at this point. It’s been two years. It can only help the train wreck.

Those kids aren’t getting privacy whether the show comes back or not. Adam will have cameras in their faces until they’re old enough to turn on him.

I want to like this show but the writing and acting are abysmal. When did Lecy and Sara forget how to act? I feel nothing for these characters. It’s all so trite and poorly written (I noticed Lecy wrote this one but I feel that way every week). Roseanne tackled social issues so much better than this. Also, where is DJ? Does Michael Fishman not want to be a regular?

Is this show ever coming back???

Time to rename this show to: Occasionally Live with Kelly and Ryan. The name is such misnomer.

Was it just me or could any one barely understand what Chad was ever saying? Incoherent much? Confused about his breakup. Extravagant party but not a wedding?? When the camera panned to him when Maurice was saying something to the effect of Mo loves Courtney, Chad still loves Courtney - the look on his face said something else. Cant stand Michael and this didn’t endear me to Chad.

Anyone catch how annoyed Gelman looked by her today?

Time for me to unfollow Zach. Ill keep Tori, for now, just to see the kids. I bet they’d change their tune id Jackson were to, God forbid, catch it at school and get very I’ll.

Looks like they’re moving to Boston.

Was watching her Instagram Stories from a few days ago. No way is Jackson safe to ride in a booster seat.

Is there a talk show based in NYC that isn’t back in their studio WITH an audience? What makes this show so impossible to film with an audience? Believe me, I am all about being COVID cautious, but really what legitimate reason do they have for a fully vaxxed staff (Disney mandate) not to return in-person? If General Hospital have actors in love scenes, then these two twits can work in their studio. For some inexplicably reason the ratings haven’t dropped while remote and it boggles my mind bc it’s just so so bad. I was home again this morning and caught the first 15 minutes. The only good thing yesterday and today was that host chat went “long” and they didn’t have time to play the stupidest game I have ever seen on a talk show. Someone make the ratings make sense to me.
