  1. Some sad news: Lorenzo Brino, who played one of the twins, died in a car accident on Monday. He was 21 years old.
  2. I could have sworn that Erica originally wanted a spin off of Gideon and Rossi when they were younger and just started the BAU, but CBS didn’t want that so instead they did the Nelson’s Sparrow episode and then the Beyond Borders spin off went through. I might have just imagined it though because I haven’t been able to find any evidence that says that or find any interviews where Erica mentions that. I think a prequel showing the BAU just starting would be cool though.
  3. Rossi’s daughter was at the wedding and so were Will and Kristy. But other than that, it mostly was just the BAU. Oh and Johnny Mathis. I can see Rossi being fine just having the BAU and their significant others, his daughter, and maybe another friend or two, but Krystall only had her daughter. Does Krystall have no friends or other family? It wasn’t a last minute wedding either because in 14x13, they mentioned the wedding being in a few weeks, and Rossi proposed in 14x08. It was kind of weird because they rented out that hall when they could have just had it at Rossi’s house
  4. I think the 7 appearances also applies to Beyond Borders. I believe this will be the third time Declan appears on CM. The other Simmons kids I think have only appeared on CM once so far, with Declan twice and a third coming up. I imagine we'll probably see the other kids as well this season in the same episode?
  5. I get that they wanted to use two long time members being held hostage since fans will care more, but I kind of wish they had mixed it up and done an older member and a newer member. I think it would have been interesting if it were Rossi and Tara. Other than 14x13, Rossi hasn’t gotten much “torture” and I can’t recall him being held hostage. And has been around for a few years now but doesn’t get a whole lot. Plus I think Rossi and Tara are a good team. Rossi and Prentiss also would have been interesting, since they’re the two “in charge” agents. It could have been interesting to see the others work without those two.
  6. I have a feeling the promo was edited to mislead us. In the promo, when JJ is asked truth or dare, she is standing, but when we see her talking to Reid, she's sitting. It's possible the "Spence" is JJ reacting to something Reid says
  7. Lalaland, I believe Blake is also no longer an agent. I think they said in the season 10 premiere that she decided to teach full time. I'm not sure about Kate, but it's possible the only past team member who is still an agent is Seaver. Not counting Jordan Todd, the show has had 16 main team members. 8 are on the team now, which means there are 8 former members. Two of those 8 are dead, and at least 4 others (Elle, Hotch, Morgan, and Blake) are no longer agents. So that just leaves Seaver and Kate. In the season 7 premiere they said Seaver transferred to another team but they never really said what Kate ended up doing. Although some former members are just civilians now, they could still show up. Maybe they get tipped off about something like Morgan did in the season 12 finale. They wouldn't be able to go in the field, but they could hang out at the office. And although they technically shouldn't be given info, I doubt that would stop the team from confiding in them or letting them help a bit. The non agents could also show up to celebrate a big milestone, like a wedding or a retirement party. I read an interview with Harry Bring and he said the last season would have each character getting a focus episode. Erica said the same about episodes 2-8 of this season yet Reid never got one.
  8. Yeah, depending on how much of a time jump they do, he’ll be 14 or 15. He was born in the Fall of 2005, so he should be 13 right now. However, they have messed up his age a few times. In season 9 he was in 3rd grade but in season 10 he was in 5th grade. And in Wheels Up, Prentiss said he was almost 13, when really, he should have been almost 12. That’s just me being annoying about small errors though. Regardless, Jack is a teenager now and I would love to see him now. The last time we saw Jack, he seemed a bit distant from Hotch, so it would be interesting to see if things are better with Hotch no longer at the BAU
  9. I mean, I'm sure that's not what the writers at the time were going for. They probably originally intended for JJ to have a sibling and for that sibling to have at least 1 kid. It seems the Roz story was created in season 5. But given what we know now, it could be written off as a step niece. Would JJ refer to a step niece as her niece? It depends. If she was close to her step sibling and their child then she might. Or maybe she would refer to a step niece as niece to avoid any confusion or long explanations. My mom got remarried when I was 20. My three step sisters through that marriage are a bit older than me and all have kids. For a while, some of the kids called me Aunt, despite not being that close to me. I don't know how close JJ is to her dad and his new family. He wasn't at her wedding, so maybe they're not that close. Though at the time Erica and AJ were going with the idea that JJ's dad was dead...
  10. In "The Tall Man", we learned that JJ's parents were gettting a divorce when Roz killed herself, and in this episode we learned JJ's dad is remarried. Maybe the niece that JJ mentioned in season 2 was the child of a step sibling?
  11. I like the idea of Rossi retiring. Rossi's last case could be the series finale. Once the BAU catches the bad guy, they could show us Rossi's retirement party. A retirement party could be a good excuse to try and get back some past team members. I also like the idea of the show ending with the team getting called to another case, to show that life and their job will go on. I think it would be cool if everyone was gathered at Rossi's retirement party, and then the current BAU team gets called on another case.
  12. I really don't want the confession to be Reid telling JJ he has been in love with her for 14 years. Let JJ stay happily married and if they want Reid to get married, partner him up with someone outside of the team. We've already seen members have their marriages fall apart because of the job. Let JJ be one who actually has a marriage that doesn't fall apart. I know Simmons is there too and happily married, but we haven't known him as long as JJ and Will. Plus, I just really like the whole "no team members dating" thing :) I don't mind a time jump as long as it's not a huge time jump. I could see the show ending with Rossi retiring. Maybe they could be at a retirement party for him (a good way to bring back past members) and then the current team gets called out on a case.
  13. Yeah, Hotch definitely should have been more stern with both of them. But I think season 7 was when a lot of new writers came in and they lost the feel of a lot of the characters. Had JJ and Reid been going at it in season 2 or something, I think we would have gotten Hotch being more stern with them as opposed to "if you want to be mad at someone, be mad at me"
  14. Both Reid and JJ were annoying in 7x02. I get why Reid (and Morgan) were upset. Reid was making sarcastic little comments while paired up with JJ. Even though he had a right to be upset, he should have put it aside while working the case. Then JJ also got fed up and starting taking digs at Reid while in the field. Then we got the argument between Reid and JJ at the police station, which JJ brought up. That was not the place for them to air out their frustrations. Reid tried to avoid JJ but JJ kept going and started this argument. Both were in the wrong in this episode. Yes, Reid had a right to be upset, but the snarky comments should have been put aside while he was working a case. And while I get JJ getting frustrated at getting the cold shoulder and snarky remarks from Reid, she didn't need to add her own snarkiness, and she definitely didn't need to bring up the issue at the local police station where a bunch of law enforcement officers could hear two FBI agents arguing. Them getting overheard would not only make them look bad, but would very likely make Hotch and the BAU look bad as well. On top of arguing, JJ basically called out Reid's profiling skills and then Reid threw the Dilaudid issue in JJ's face. Both were just very unprofessional in this episode. jmo, I agree with your reasoning of Reid being upset and JJ lying to him. And you also bring up a good point about the team feeling upset because it was like they couldn't be trusted. Like I said, Reid and the others had every right to be upset, but there's a time and a place to express and show that emotion. We know Morgan was upset but I think he was a bit better at not making a very big scene in front of others. I know he and Hotch kind of got into it in episode 9 of that season, but I think they were more isolated than Reid and JJ were (I could be wrong though). Now, with that being said, Morgan has also let his anger get the best of him at inappropriate times, like when he got mad at Hotch and Kate in the season 3 finale
  15. CM is returning on January 2 with episode 11, so I'm not sure about episode 15 airing on March 6. That would really be stretching it: airing 5 episodes in 2 months. I mean, I suppose that could be what they are doing. Not that it's always reliable, but Wikipedia has episodes 11-15 airing every Wednesday in January, with episode 15 airing January 30. As for the additional episodes, I'm not sure why there are conflicting reports. I would believe BJ since she works on the show and should know. Another crew member/proucer posted the same thing about 10 more episodes on Instagram. But I also don't think sites like Deadline and Spoiler TV would post there was no backorder unless they had proof and were told from a credible source. Maybe they just assumed since CM wasn't on the schedule after January or March that they weren't getting more episodes this season. CBS might still be playing around with some things, and like BJ said, these episodes could be part of season 14 or even be part of a 15th season. I was 13. I'm 26 now and will be 27 in January. It's crazy that this show has been on for half my life!
  16. Is this the site? https://www.springfieldspringfield.co.uk/episode_scripts.php?tv-show=criminal-minds I use that to look up transcripts for episodes of CM and other shows. The one downside to it though is it is not really organized and you can't really tell who is saying what
  17. I actually looked through another message board I'm on and I had commented on it there. It had something to do with when the team gave the profile, they said the unsub they would be looking for wouldn't have been convicted of arson, but later in the episode, they found out who the unsub was by looking through a list of people convicted of arson. I haven't seen that episode since it aired, so I'm not sure how accurate that is. Looking through the Sick Day thread on this other message board, someone else also noticed that Hotch had a weird request for Garcia: to search within a 15 mile radius of boys who have brown hair. As these posters pointed out, that's kind of a weird thing to search and narrow down, since I'm sure there would be A LOT of people with brown hair.
  18. Back when the incident happened, a lot of people speculated it was a clash between writer and director and that Thomas was directing the episode at the time of the incident. However, that wasn't it. I believe Thomas was supposed to direct episode 4. The incident between Thomas and Virgil occurred during filming of episode 2. I think I read somewhere (and maybe TG addressed it in his People interview) that the original dispute was over a line that cause a continuity issue. Supposedly, Thomas brought the issue up to Virgil, they argued, Thomas walked away, Virgil followed him, and then the kick happened. I believe it was on IMDB (back when they still had a message board) that a few people posted that they did notice a continuity issue in that episode (12x02 Sick Day)
  19. Exactly. She and other young people who want to do shows like these need to realize that it's a competition: you may win or you may lose. And if you are unable to do your job and perform, it's not fair that you get special advantages while other people who did their job get cast aside. But hey, I suppose another life lesson is sometimes life isn't fair :P And did Adam seriously say he needed Reagan to continue because of his daughters? Isn't the oldest like 2 years old? I seriously doubt she understands anything going on with this show. If anything, they should teach her that what her dad did was stupid and you shouldn't treat people the way he treated Deandre. I can't believe they brought Reagan in her bathrobe. If she was well enough to show up tonight, she should have been wearing actual clothes, not a bathrobe. Or she shouldn't have shown up at all.

  21. Not only did Adam throw Deandre under the bus, he might have also messed up any chance Reagan had. I wouldn't be surprised if people are so upset over Adam's actions that they intentionally vote for everyone but Reagan.
  22. I agree, it would be nice if they actually addressed it. I just watched a Q+A with Melissa and J.R. and Melissa said that
  23. But didn't Michaela learn Vance was dead before she talked to the callings and asked for Jared to live? I'm with those hoping Vance isn't actually dead. While I was worried about his fate once he started working with Ben, like others have pointed out, we didn't see a body. Not seeing a body makes it easy to bring back a character and not have them dead. I just feel like if someone like Vance, who was a pretty prominent character, was going to be killed off, they'd actually show his death/body for the full effect. Grace was super annoying. Her husband and son returned after being gone for 5 years and presumed to be dead, and when they both come back, they haven't aged. I know what Ben is saying would sound a bit crazy, but I wouldn't totally shut him down considering something happened that clearly caused them to not age in 5 years. I feel like if I was in that situation, I'd at least hear Ben out and give him some credit. I don't know why, but when Cal, Ben, Michaela, and Saanvi started having the headaches because of the experiments being done on the missing passengers, I loved how Vance said "What the hell?!" I really hope Vance isn't dead. He brought a good balance. As for Michaela and Ben moving in with their dad, do we know where he lives? I'm sure it's not too far, but it could be a bit of a drive? Michaela did visit him in episode 5 on her day off. So as to why Michaela stayed with Ben instead of her dad, it could be Ben lived closer to the police station. And now, with Ben and Michaela both needing to find somewhere, it's possible they don't want to impose on their dad, even if he does have the space. They might just want a small place of their own, especially if they're going to be doing secret investigations. And again, it could be more of a convenience thing. If the dad lives a bit out of the way, Ben would want to stay near his kids and Michaela wants to be close for work. Maybe the actor who plays the dad is busy and can't film much for the show or just wants to appear in a few episodes. If that's the case, it might not be worth it to have Ben and Mick move in with him if we would hardly see him. Plus, looking at it from a cost perspective, it would probably be easier to use a set for an apartment than a house Oh, and count me in for those who think Ben and Saanvi would be good together. I remember a few episodes in when they started working together and I thought "I wonder if they'll get together and Grace and Danny will get back together"
  24. Ha, forget my Kanye comment, I'm sure a lot of people were hoping Tom had pulled a Steve Harvey or Warren Beatty.
