Damn! Jill is all about the love-bombing. I actually knew my MIL before Mr. Six and I started dating, and I think she was still side-eyeing me on our wedding day. Not only does this poor woman have to deal with Sam as her future husband, but she also gets stuck with Jill for a MIL? Poor thing got heads when she should have asked for tails. I hope one of Dog's characteristics is patience because she's really going to need it for this family.

I am not the biggest Jessa fan by any means, but just like the other 18 kids, she was damaged by the "parenting" JB&M did. Even though she's 5 kids in, it doesn't seem like she has found herself as a mother or a woman for that matter. All of her life she's been told that her only purpose is to get married and have babies. Who did she have as role models? Michelle, Kelly Jo, and a handful of other moms at Big Sandy. Sadly, it's the kids who suffer, but I think Jessa could benefit greatly from therapy to find out who she is without Michelle being in her ear 24/7. Sidenote, we have an all-black cat named Benny, and he's just as clueless as Bin. We're still not sure how he makes it through each day. He's cute as a button but dumb as a rock.

Their hearts are lined in the poison of bitterness. If you are one of those people, please know that I (and more importantly), God loves you! God's ways are NOT the reason for your pain. Sin is! Don't turn on the VERY One (Jesus Christ) that will bring you the greatest peace of all. For those of you asking about Phillip, he is doing good. We are BEYOND blessed to say that he is now serving in an EXCELLENT ministry! The Pastor has taken Phillip "under his wings" in discipleship and training, and is a greater blessing to us than we can ever express! Our hearts are greatly rejoicing at God faithfully guiding Phillip in his quest for where God wanted Him to serve. Please keep Phillip and all thirteen of our children (and in-laws and grandbabies) in your prayers. We deeply love all of our children and want to see all of them thrive in each of their personal callings that God calls them unto. Why can I picture her physically doing the things she's describing in the first two paragraphs? If she was doing that in the late 1600s in Salem, she'd be on trial right now. I would guess she knew about Jana's wedding through Nurie, but it must be taking every drop of eyeliner and hairspray to keep her mouth shut after the fact. Jana is a beautiful bride, and her husband is handsome. Good for her. Since People got the exclusive, I hoped she played JB for all she could. They get their story, but she has control over what she wears, bridesmaid attire, etc. Even though Josie is now 14, there's a whole bunch of babies and younger children in the background, and every brother/sister just lost their free childcare. Glad to see you made it to the other side, @crazy8s!! @beckie, again, I am so sorry for your loss. The first year after I lost my dad, I felt like I was going through the motions of every day with no real path. I did what I needed to do, but there was no thought to it. Regarding remote jobs, do you mind sharing what industry you're looking for? Have you thought about talking to a recruiter? They might be pesty, but they can be a huge help when you're looking for something specific like a work-from-home situation. You will be in my thoughts, and please remember to take care of yourself. It's ok to be selfish when healing from grief.

Was the boat excursion the time Jill thought it would be a great idea to tell the internet about Nurie's stitches from having the baby? Wonder what she will share this time. Mastitis? Post-op infection? Plexus curing them both? I, for one, would not be surprised if this baby girl arrives, takes one look/listen to MeMe, and just nopes it back to Nurie's stomach pouch uterus.

Are they supporting themselves on her social media? Probably not. Does it bring in some extra cash each month? Yeah. I would hope Jessa knows she has to be upfront regarding any paid/sponsored content. It can't just hidden somewhere on the screen anymore, and they have been cracking down the last year or so. I have a paid sponsorship with a company on Instagram. The owner of the business was very open to what I post, but I have to make sure the 'paid sponsorship' box is checked.

YT pays out AdSense based on the number of views, so she's averaging 27,000 views per video. Estimated yearly earnings are roughly $21,000. It's a nice chunk of change for not putting in a whole lot of work (*this is Jessa after all*), but she could easily grow it to something more with just a little more effort (*see note above*). Do we know if Jill has kept her cosmetology license active? There have to be more women out there who prefer the mahdest clothing and 80s MTV hair. Dave & Jill are both allergic to work. Baltimore is in the same heat wave, and it sucks. Yesterday, when Mr. Six left for work at 630am, it was already 74* with 86% humidity. He has two temperatures that show in his car. The outside temp and the air inlet temp. When he left around 415pm, the air inlet temp was 101*. My POTS symptoms get amplified in the heat and humidity, so I'm doing my best to stay inside. Our little tortie girl has a cardiologist consult on Friday, and I'm not looking forward to the trip. It's less than 15 miles, but between the heat and traffic, I'm more worried about the trip than I am about the appointment.

The best thing that could happen to Jill, and quite frankly, the rest of the family, is menopause. I have a sneaking suspicion that she's still doing whatever she thinks she needs to do to get pregnant again. Scary thing is, that there have been quite a few celebrities who are getting pregnant past the age of 50. The latest was the actress who played 'Angela' on "Boy Meets World". She announced a few weeks ago, and she's 54. Jill doesn't give two hoots about her kids. She only cares about what they can give her.

If you want to keep it anonymous, try using a middle name and a family member's maiden name. I use a fake name for a TON of sites, but I've always made sure it was a legit name that someone could have. And, play around with the spelling if you can. Hypothetically, if your name is Deborah, you could change it to Debbie or Debby, and it would still make sense.

Maybe she was reminded that Gabriel was having a birthday when she read this thread. Hi, Jill (smile)! In some small way, I feel like we have some control over her and what she shows on social media. Her bike was mentioned last summer. Within a few days, there's a shiny new video of her riding it. Something about Gabe seemed 'off' in that video, aside from the normal 'off'. Even if most of the things shown are loaded full of sugar, it's probably the most amount of food that's been in any kitchen recently. If Dave & BME aren't going to feed their children, at least there are people looking out for them at these events.
