  1. If anyone is looking for more IBLP info, check out Liz Hunter. I follow her on TikTok, but I'm not sure if she posts elsewhere. (Her TT handle is thatlizhunter). She's currently living in Florida, and she has talked about the Duggars before. She comes across as a genuinely sweet woman, who, thankfully got out of her family before it was too late. The BUB cancellation was just too weird with the timing. Someone had (has) dirt on someone else, because you know certain people wouldn't willingly keep their mouth shut...ahem, Carlin...cough, cough. Makes me wonder if they were still paid for that season 🤔
  2. Aww, the new dog has something in common with the old dog. Neither Jill nor the pup have easy personalities. Now, if we're basing the situation on intelligence, my money is on the dog.
  3. Dave looks like he's retaining hummingbird juice in that photo. His ankles look a little swollen. I will fully admit that if I saw those pants on clearance at Walmart, I would buy them for myself. Men's sleep/lounge pants always come with pockets, and it's hard to find them in the women's counterparts.
  4. A fan (?) commented on the price of the dolls being $100, to which our Jilly replied "they did not cost me that much." Of course not, Jill. Only you would find a way to weasel someone into giving you something (or having someone else pay for it). I am a staunch believer in women's rights, but this crazy bitch should not have reproduced. If it wasn't for her gold medal in Grifting101 ™️, she wouldn't be able to keep a rock garden alive.
  5. I hope everyone in the southern US is doing ok after the storms and tornados. That's been a huge fear of mine for many years. My grandma was struck by lightning as a child, and my aunt had damage to her mobile home from a tornado when I was older. There is still a cut line in the ridge of the mountains from where it touched down. For Baltimore, our official measurements are taken at BWI, which is south of the city. We have managed to make it through the winter with no snow. There are a few snow resorts out in the panhandle, and I can't imagine they did well. One last thing-if you are in the good thoughts/prayers area, there were two horrific accidents down here this week. The first was on Wednesday on the Beltway (giant loop that surrounds the city). The 'what' part is still being figured out, but a woman managed to flip her car into a construction zone and killed 6 workers, 4 men (including a father/son team), and 1 woman. The driver was flown to Shock Trauma in critical condition. The second was a tanker truck that exploded on another major route off of the beltway. Thankfully, the driver was rescued and taken to ST in serious condition, but last I heard, he's supposed to survive. There were no other injuries in that accident. We lived here since 12/03; first an apartment, and we bought our house in 2006. Traffic can be downright frightening. The beltway is used as the Indy 500. 95 gets used to traffic drugs from Florida to New York. We had a close call today with traffic randomly stopping, and I'm so grateful that my car was able to begin to apply the brakes before I did to slow us down faster. Earleen earned a gold star today!
  6. No, it's a hand-drawn image of the JillDavid R. clan, AND it was done by the same artist who made Jill & Dave's map (?s).
  7. Well, he started at the laundromat, but he already found Lord David was there. He got a little hungry and wanted some Evian water turned into wine, so he swung by the Good Olive Garden. After his meal of soup, pasta, and breadsticks, he then decided to stop in at Hobby Lobby for some Easter cross kits that he could make in his spare time. All in all, a normal weekend for JeSauce.
  8. @BetyBeeYour neighbor is lucky to have you. I hope her recovery goes well. I got a call from our bank today asking for more info about the Walmart debacle. She told me she would work on it today and contact them for more info, but when she went into the account, the money had already been refunded in full. Even though I'm still pissed, I'm sort of impressed with how it was handled. The charge cleared 2/28, and the refund was completed 3/1. This better be a good beauty box!!
  9. To get your channel monetized on YT, you need 1000 subs and 4000 hours of watch time. You have to post periodically to keep the monetization going. Anything you see being shilled by the influencer themselves are paid ads (meal prep kits, Squarespace, Casetify, etc are all paid ads). They get to try the product, tell you all about it and usually offer a discount code to their followers. They should be documented in the video itself, in the description box, and in a pinned comment that it's a paid ad. Paid ads will also require a legally-binding contract between the influencer and the brand. The ads that look similar to commercials are placed by YT. Creators have some say in what type of company they would like, but they don't have full control of the actual ad. Those are usually done by nationally-known companies. You can use an ad-blocker, and at least the one I use does block the commercial type ads. You can also fast-forward past the paid ads.
  10. Sorry to interrupt the camping/weather convo (which is fascinating only because I'm a city girl!), but if anyone has a subscription to the seasonal Walmart beauty box, please check your bank statements. They raised the price to $6.98 and now charge tax, which makes it $7.40 for me. No joke, they charged my debit card $739.88 for the spring box. I already contacted the bank to dispute the charge, and I had to reach out to them on social media. I got back a PM that started "We apologize for the inconvenience...". WTF!? To say I'm livid is an understatement. They claim they have people working on it, and the funds will be returned within 5-10 business days. They did give me an email address if I had further questions--customercare@brandshare.us .
  11. All that sperm, and 19 had to find Michelle's scrambled eggs AND 13 had to reach Jill's poached eggs. Yikes.
  12. Mr. Six has a case called the BookBook. It looks like a mini encyclopedia, especially as it "wears". It has space for 3 cards with one of them being his key card to get into his office building, which is thicker than a standard card. I asked if he recommended it, and he said yes with the caveat of using a front screen protector on his phone. He is able to charge the phone on a flat charger and the one in my car. It looks like they are compatible with the 12 mini and up.
  13. Thanks, @Scarlett45! I appreciate the recommendations. We do have Costco, but we did a membership at BJs due to the proximity. That might actually be a place to look too. I seem to forget about them unless we need gas. I think I'm just going to live in comfy clothes for the rest of my life. I've been maintaining my weight loss that I'm solidly in a medium (and sometimes a small on top), but I always size up to a large for pajamas/loungewear. I hate being choked by my shirt while I'm trying to sleep, and the large usually gives me the length I need. I may have to do an Amazon order soon...
  14. Kinda strange request, but does anyone have any recs for nice, extra soft, and won't-break-the-bank, lounge sets? I'm only out of the house on Saturdays with Mr. Six, and I have to go out once every two weeks to pick up written prescriptions. A lot of what I've been finding is separates as opposed to sets. I must of found my matchy-matchy stage of life. This past few weeks have been rough with one bright spot. Mr. Six and I each had a family member pass away. We weren't able to attend any services, but I did send the families cards. One had been sick for many years, but other was just diagnosed with cancer in early December, had the first round of chemo December 17th, and passed away on January 16th. The bright spot is a car. Mr. Six has been wanting a certain style of Ford Mustang. He was driving a Mustang GT for the past 3 years. He found a dealership in PA that is known for doing great deals. He ordered this car in April 2022. We just picked it up Friday afternoon. It took until the beginning of January for it to show up at the dealership. He seems happy, and I must admit, it's *really* fun to drive! With all of the hard work he puts in at work, he deserves it. He even thanked me for making it happen since I do all of our finances/banking. He's such a good egg (and he might be cheaper since the cost of eggs skyrocketed!!)
  15. The People magazine with Jinger’s story is dated January 30th, and the main cover photo is Lisa Marie Presley. Jinger did manager to score a smaller picture in the upper left corner of the cover. ETA-I’m also going to add this the media thread as well. And RIP to Lisa Marie 😔
  16. The People magazine with Jinger’s story is dated January 30th, and the main cover photo is Lisa Marie Presley. Jinger did manager to score a smaller picture in the upper left corner of the cover. ETA-I’m also going to add this the J&J thread as well just in case.
  17. It looks like I'm going to have to do multiple posts due to the size of the files. A thousand apologies that the pics are a bit wonky. I just like to do things differently 😉
  18. Jinger got a pretty nice magazine spread and publicity (to go along with her prop, Felicity). If anyone would like to read and/or see the People article, just let me know. My copy arrived Friday. I should be able to post it mid-late evening.
  19. I haven't started my drink tour yet, but I'm ready to use the toolkit I bought Mr. Six and smack him with them. He's on vacation for 12 days and doesn't go back to work until next Tuesday. Dog help me. Our two kittens and the old man had vet appointments this week, and everyone got a clean bill of health. Barring any emergencies, we don't have to go back until August. It was a beautiful and sunny 54 today. Even though we have rain coming, we stay warm. Between Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve, our temps are supposed to rise at least 50 degrees. I hope those of you getting hit with severe weather stay safe!
  20. Thank you all for the kindness & support on my last post. As far as I know, there were no injuries, and it appears the house on the left is habitable already. That is my single most rational fear. I wish the family peace in the coming new year. Our holiday weekend was much too stressful. I spent my entire Saturday sick and mostly in bed. At first, I thought it was a stomach virus, but it turned out, it was just a nasty POTS day for me. Unfortunately, my body likes to deal with extreme pain by giving me nausea. My mom & inlaws set out at 930am Sunday to make the drive. We knew they would be stopping at least once (gotta get that free coffee!), but it took them 5 hours to make it down. The roads in their area were so nasty and snow/ice covered, but they were able to travel behind a plow train, which helped a bit. They left around 930am this morning, and with one stop, my mom was home around 115pm. Mr. Six also found out his car needs a new transmission, so we are down to one car for the unforeseeable future. Thankfully, he's on vacation this week, but I don't like being at home carless with four cats. I think I'm ready for 2022 to be over, but I'm sure I'm looking forward to 2023 yet. Instead of drinking my way around Epcot with @Ohiopirate02, I'm just going to drink my way around my house. I have Mike's Hard Lemonade in Apple Pear if anyone wants to join me!
  21. Baltimore has lucked out once again. We had nearly 2 inches of rain, but it completely stopped before the big temperature drop, so we never got the ice or snow. Parts of the street are a bit icy, but nothing we can't handle. We do have some errands to run tomorrow, but we're mainly getting things ready for our parents arrival. We're currently sitting at 9F; our parents are at -3F. I fully expect to find all 4 cats in our bed tonight. They're not stupid 😉 If you are in the praying/good thought arena, please include 3 families that live on the street above us. We heard a ton of sirens yesterday, which is a very common occurrence. Except these sirens got close and stopped. I opened the door to find at least 6 fire trucks up there. The middle house was on fire with smoke just pouring out the front and back windows. As far as I know, there were no injuries, and our temps were in the mid-40s, so ice wasn't a factor for the firefighters. I want to find out who lives there, and see what Mr. Six & I can do to help them. The response was insanely quick, but my heart just breaks for all of the families involved.
  22. Someone should drop this video* on Jill's IG. Her little bottled-blonde, self-righteous, sanctimonious brain would explode. She's just a nasty little bitch. *The video is not safe for kids or work environment. (But it's so damn funny).
  23. There needs to be a class on how to make friends and how to end friendships as adults. As a kid, it's easy. Your parents can handle it for you, and that's that. It's even harder when the relationship is with a family member. Chances on, you're going to be seeing said family members at certain points, and making a scene is not an option when grandma passes away. I went through a few issues with my mom and Mr. Six at Thanksgiving. He doesn't understand why I don't want to go back to our hometown, and I don't expect him to. After I lost my dad, something changed in me, and being there is just a slap in the face. My in-laws are both still living, so he hasn't dealt with that type of death/loss yet. My mom, in turn, tried to make the TG holiday hers. We opted to just stay one night, instead of the two we used to, and we chose to stay in a hotel. You would have thought I bought her an animal and then ran it over. My health is not the best, and I need to be around my hubby the most since he knows what's going on .without me saying a word. We spent the actual holiday with his side of the family, who I love to pieces. But, I know I was not myself, and I can only hope I hid it well enough. For fuck's sake, this post was not supposed to be my emotional baggage dump. Right now, only 6 people know about what's really going on and my full diagnosis. But, I keep most of it to myself. I just can't bring myself to open up, even though I know I will have amazing support from friends and family. Adulting is just hard some times... @lookeyloo-your grand dog is adorable! Thanks for sharing his picture!
  24. She may have an "unshakeable personal brand" but if she doesn't get control over her kid, she's going to one with a ton of holes.
