  1. The relationship game was utter crap. I'm surprised they sold any copies at all - and without Mark they wouldn't have shifted many. Really, Pamela couldn't be bothered to read 48 questions?? How long would it have taken here, for heaven's sake? And Daniel runs a pub quiz company; surely he could have come up with some better questions. The ones we heard were just so hamhanded and pointless and the answers so random. If I bought it, I'd take it back. The GeoKnow game wasn't at all bad; that could sell in real life as educational fun for families. Bianca was very lucky they won.
  2. Good, Alison out. I was surprised to see Caroline in the B2 with her. I'm afraid Judy's time has now definitely run out.
  3. Yes, the plot was completely illogical and the science rubbish - but it kind of always is on Dr Who, really. I found the last part very moving with the various self-sacrifices. (And yes, I got the WWI resonance, but I agree they could have been less subtle there.)
  4. I think maybe Jake could be in trouble tonight; he was well down the leader board. It would be a shame after such a great start but he seems to have plateaued a bit over the past few weeks while Simon and Mark have improved. Judy is now clearly by far the worst dancer, but obviously viewers like her and/or Anton, so I'm not convinced their time is up yet - though clearly they'll get sent home the second they fall into the B2 - especially now they've ticked off the appearance from Andy ;). I'd actually rather see her continue, poor as she is, than the increasingly irritating Alison who just annoys me beyond bearing, but everyone else deserves to stay at this point imo. Maybe Steve is the next worst. According to the tabloids Steve and Ola aren't getting on, but they seemed OK together on screen,
  5. James is a jerk and Daniel isn't far behind. I'm quite liking Mark and Lauren atm. I'm stunned anyone would pay £90 for a day trip, let alone one run by obvious amateurs.
  6. I'd say the character could be as young as 18. Pakistan is one of those countries that starts med school at the bachelor's degree level, not like the US system of pre-med then grad med school. E.g. http://www.aku.edu/admissions/undergraduate/medicine/Pages/MBBS-Programme.aspx
  7. I think the problem with Danny Pink is the actor. I actually like the conception of the character and even the writing, but the actor is so limp and wet and boring he just doesn't come across as interesting. I liked the dark water/cyberman reveal.
  8. I wish they'd scrap this Halloween schlock. Wow, Simon is old enough to have an 18 year old daughter?
  9. Yes, I rather liked Sarah in YF. A case of "Nothing became her in the show as much as her leaving". Why no Ella Jade in YF? Did she refuse to take part (such an immature lack of dignity after she was fired, maybe she threw a hissy fit and just wouldn't do it.) Or ... could she have been reinstated? Though I don't see why she would. PS: I wouldn't go into business with Steven if he was the only option. He was entertaining but I don't think I could trust him with my money. And both those videos were utterly dire. But then I only go on youtube to listen to music, or to watch cute animals, and I guess they didn't have the right personnel for anything other than lame attempts at comedy. (It's probably illegal but they'd probably have got more hits if they'd used Solomon's OTHER video ;) )
  10. Those two both seemed completely out of their depth. Their candle did look quite classy, but they were selling it too cheaply. The yellow one, OTOH, looked nasty, and I'm surprised they sold any at all, let alone at higher prices than the seaside one. Maybe it smelt better than it looked.
  11. Poor Tim; I liked him personally, but he was definitely one of the three worst dancers, and Mark was pretty good this week, so they were never going to send him home. Scott must go soon, surely, then Judy, and then everyone else is at least average and I can be hoping for the irritating Alison to get thrown out.
  12. Apparently Blonde Electra have done prison tours. Talk about cruel and unusual punishment.
  13. Oh dear, poor Judy was worse this week than last. That was dire. And specially unlucky to immediately follow Jake, who was fantastic. Scott was the other worst of the night - very marginally less terrible than last week, but that's not a high bar. Best of the night: Jake was great again. Also very good: Caroline, Pixie, Frankie, in roughly that order. Person I'd like to leave: the incredibly irritating Alison.
  14. Thanks for that - I did it wrong mainly because I had absolutely no idea what season we were in ;)
  15. Alison has a lot of enthusiasm. Tom was surprisingly elegant for a rugby player (though he was lucky they didn't start off his waltz with making him do a penalty kick), and Frankie's was nice too. Judy's looked worse on playback in the final highlights.
  16. I should think he was probably joking. Hard to tell without hearing tone of voice, but they all moan about how mean their partners are making them rehearse.
  17. They seem to be even more heavyhanded with the themes this year - Anton and Judy looked like they should have been performing a Highland fling, plus bagpipes and Mull of Kintyre? Overkill. Not to mention Rock DJ for the DJ, and the auction routine. Jake Wood doesn't seem to have much personality, but his dance was quite good. I thought Anton and Judy were marked a tad harshly. They were better than Tim. Trent is very cute. The cha cha chas were all rather leaden footed. Nice to see a bit more variety than usual with the first week dances.
  18. That opening was very hokey. The Brucie bit seemed to be a way for the BBC to say they hadn't sacked him, it was entirely his own decision. Tess was bland and Claudia faintly irritating, as I expected. New pro Joanne had a very bizarrely fixed smile. Scottish rugby player/model Tom didn't sound very Scottish to me (but quite nice eye candy). Judy Murray and Anton: least surprising pairing ever. Masterchef guy looks the most annoying of the celebs.
  19. What an uninspiring bunch. I wouldn't recognise most of them in the street.
  20. Apparently Diana dropped out due to illness after this ep anyway - on BBC website.
  21. Absolutely my favorite episode ever.
  22. Cary would be a better State's Attorney than Alicia. At least he's been a prosecutor.
