Wasn't Helen Pai, one of the producers and a good friend of ASP, who the Lane character was based on? I believe she must have also been of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.

Knowing how the Huntzbergers treated Rory when she was dating Logan, why were Richard, and Emily especially, so eager for Rory to accept Logan's marriage proposal? Status and wealth. That was what mattered to them.

What if Rory is a single mom of a daughter? Too cheesy?

Milo has already said that he has been asked to return to play Jess. He hopes to have time to film the new GGs. However, saying that, I really don't think that ASP will have Rory rekindle any of her previous high school/college romances. There are too many fans that differ on which relationship they liked. Anyway, I think the story will pick up 8-10 years later and Rory will be single or with someone new.

I think Jess never bothered to compare. He accepted that this was his life. He may not have been happy but he was smart enough to realize that you have to accept certain things in life and that his life was just that, his life. Sure he was angry about being sent to Stars Hollow, but that was just because his mother gave him no choice. He wasn't old enough to live on his own.

Even Jess questioned whether that was the right career for Rory.

I wish we had gotten a scene or two with a mature Jess and Lorelai. Maybe in the Netflix series.

Good question. I've heard that ASP can swear with the best of them, but because the fan base was made up of females in general and young females in particular, I think it will be mostly PG13.

It's only a pilot, which means it may or may not go into production as a series. If it does go to series they usually don't start filming until mid-summer. His contract with NBC could allow him to also film GG as well as movies or tv show guest spots prior to filming the series. I don't expect some characters, like Jess, to be in too many scenes in the Netflix GG series, so he can work it out if need be.

Maybe that was the intent of "Windward Circle," the never to be spinoff.

Oh but Logan had his own set of issues. The drinking (and I don't think this was typical college behavior), the casual sex, the running away from his problems. As for not having a temper he would so have engaged in a fight with Jess had Jess taken his bait. He was kicked out of several prep schools and had been in trouble with the law which his parents had to pay a lot of money to bail him out. Hardly a model citizen and not much different that many of the other male characters. Logan was out of town when Rory and Jess planned their dinner. He just shows up without a call and invites himself, which to me was rude. If he trusted Rory, then he shouldn't have been upset. He was a jerk.

With the revival on Netflix, they will probably have exclusive rights to the show for some time. How long is anybody's guess.

I think their Heroes characters were always supposed to be niece/uncle well before the exhibited any chemistry. Most series have their story line outlined before they start shooting. Hayden and Milo didn't have any scenes together until midway through the first season. They did definitely have crazy chemistry, which drove the "Halo" fans ( of which I'm not one!)crazy. Since we don't know how far along Alexis is in her pregnancy, even if she is, it may have no bearing on the filming of the series. I can see Rory returning to Stars Hollow because she is at a crossroads in her life both personal and professional and she needs her mother's advice and support. Not sure where TPTB will take Lorelai, but I hope we see a lot of her interacting with Emily.

Wouldn't it be interesting if Rory came back to Stars Hollow conflicted with what to do with her life and Jess helping her decide. I would like that. Please, no real life crossing over into GG. Just. No.

IMO, there is no way that Rory will end up with any of the three in the reboot. We do know that Milo was asked to return, so there is the possibility of some scenes with Jess and Rory, but I'm guessing that they will only be friends. I'm ok with that too.

First of all, CBS (or whatever studio produces Mike and Molly) would have to allow her the opportunity. Add to that all the other reasons mentioned above and it isn't likely that she would be part of the revival cast.

I think he was exaggerating. No school would say the pledge in any other language. Maybe it was international week. Some schools celebrate the heritage of its students with them sharing their culture and traditions.

If Rory is in a relationship, which is likely since her character would be close to 30, I'm sure it would be with someone new. Jess would be returning as Luke's nephew. What I wish for is some Lorelai/Jess scenes. They had too few in the initial run of the series.
