Ok, then... I'm thinking of a scene

Is it Rory's copy of "Howl?"
-
Too bad there wasn't a real "The Subsect" by Jess Mariano.

All Episodes Talk: Lorelai and Rory and the People They Love
Aloeonatable replied to solotrek's topic in Gilmore Girls
I read on another site where someone interpreted that when Jess said he knew Rory better than anyone he didn't mean he knew her better than Lorelai, Lane or anyone else, just that she was someone that he knew well. He understood her; she was a kindred spirit, someone he related to on many levels. -
Go ahead, txhorns79!

Was it the object Logan put in the Gilmore's house in trade for the object he stole?
-
Yes! The "stolen" bracelet. Your turn, AlinaRay.

1) It has Rory 2) It takes place in Stars Hollow 3) It does not have Lorelai 4) It does not take place in a business, though business is being conducted 5) It does have another character from the opening credits in it 6) It does take place during the plaid years 7) It takes place in the daytime 8) It has someone Rory is dating 9) It does not take place before baskets are bid upon 10) It is outside 11) No Jess, but Jess is partly responsible for the action in the scene 12) Does not take place in ATAT 13) It is a town event 14) It does not have anyone else in the scene, though there are others around, but not in the immediate action (in other words, Rory and her date are not alone)

Agree with this. Jess had major trust issues. In his very first episode, NN/SN, when Rory casually asks him to trust her that the meal Sookie cooks at the girls' house will be good, he says he may believe she is trustworthy. Why do you think she changed? Do you think it was just to serve the story lines (the writers rebooting her character) or do you see something happening to her in early season 2 that made her more passive/agressive and less assertive? -

It was your response to #9 that led me to my guess. I don't know how good I'll be at this game, but I'll give it a go. I have a scene!

Was it the scene in Aye, There's the Rub with Paris and Jess in the girl's kitchen.

All Episodes Talk: Lorelai and Rory and the People They Love
Aloeonatable replied to solotrek's topic in Gilmore Girls
Lorelai's irrational dislike of Jess throughout the series made me like her less. She was justified after their first encounter, but to continue her hatred after the misunderstanding about Dean's bracelet and the car accident, was ridiculous. She became civil when Rory and Jess became a couple, but she always seemed to just tolerate him. I found it ironic that both Dean and Logan, IMO, did more harm to Rory than Jess ever did, yet Lorelai seemed to like both of them. I don't think she ever saw Rory ending up with either Dean or Logan, but she was kind and caring to both of them. I wish we could have see a scene where she learned that it was Jess who finally got Rory to go back to Yale and make up with her mother. -

Speaking of hair, I much preferred Alexis' hair in the later seasons, when she had bangs. I didn't think her season 5 short hair was attractive at all. -
^ I believe it was Lost and Found "Why don't you go Dr. Laura someone else!"

I never liked the "Ace" nickname either, but then I seem to be the only one here that didn't care for Logan much at all. Smarmy is an excellent adjective to describe him. I do admit that I'm bias when it comes to Jess, because I have a little bit of a crush on Milo. This is kind of weird because I'm (almost!) old enough to be his mother. I didn't always like Jess with Rory, but, and this may or may not be an unpopular opinion, I loved his relationship with Luke. I even liked their relationship as much, if not more, than the Rory/Lorelai relationship. Speaking of Lorelai, I know this is an unpopular opinion, I more often than not, didn't like her. Same with Rory in the later seasons. Wow, I just realized that I disliked the very reason to love the show! How crazy is that, yet it is still one of my all time favorites. -

Aw, Milo has a birth defect where one side of his mouth is crooked. He has to really work to keep it straight. I would imagine when he is concentrating on his lines or the scene he is in, he often forgets to pay attention to his mouth. -
Howdy all, I was a major lurker over at the GG board at TWoP. I could almost mimic MsTaken's favorite seasons list except I think season 6 is better than 7. Even with all the horrible things that happened in season 6, the show just didn't seem the same without the Palladinos at the helm. I'll come back later to state some of my favorites. Happy to be here!
