  1. She's not connected to the sword, she's the descendant of the first woman warrior, not the weapons. It's her family's belief that one woman a generation from their family could wield the sword, not protect it. Though wielding it would come along with protecting it. Here is a transcript of what was said: Mama Fu: I shouldn't have been so surprised. I've seen glimpses of it, ever since you've come home, but tonight, that fight. Nicky: Mama, you know I've been training. Mama Fu: No. There is a difference between training and what I saw. You are a warrior, Nicky. A warrior by birth. I've been trying to shield you from it your whole life, trying to change your destiny. Mama Fu: I shouldn't have been so surprised. Nicky: My destiny? Mama Fu: It was the last thing I wanted for you. I suppose I was a fool to think I could stop it. It's in your blood. Nicky: What are you saying? Mama Fu: You are a descendant of Liang Daiyu. The first woman warrior. We know the lineage is real. Traceable. But only a few believed in what that really meant. Our family's legacy. Nicky: Legacy? Mama Fu: As descendants of Liang Daiyu, we are the rightful owners of her sword. It's been lost for generations, held by a guardian, but it is said that when the time is right, it would be ours to reclaim. Our birthright. It was said that one member of every generation... a woman... would be chosen to wield the sword. Nicky: And you believed this growing up? That's why you kept it from us? Mama Fu: I... I never really understood any of it, but my sister, she did. She believed the stories. Nicky: Auntie Mei-Xue? You said she died when she was a teenager. Tuberculosis. Mama Fu: Lied. It's less painful than the truth. She believed she had the right to wield the sword, that she was the chosen one of our generation. That it was calling out to her. And she was obsessed. I begged her to stay but she ran away, abandoning me, our family. We haven't seen her since.
  2. I think it would have been better if Nicky was connected to some other magical weapon, instead of the sword. Does that mean that Nicky and Zhilan are related? Maybe the words branded on Nicky's hand is the incantations/instructions for bringing out the magical properties of the sword, which picked her as the rightful owner. Nicky needs to compare her hand, the scroll, and maybe Zhilan's mother's notebook to get the best understanding of what is really going on.
  3. I was thinking that with God trying a little harder to get the approval of his sons and the fact that he is having trouble controlling his powers, this episode might have been caused by people "catching the Holy Spirit/Ghost". This probably isn't the case since nobody seems to notice that the singing and dancing is happening except for God and Lucifer, not even Amenadiel caught on. Time seems to stop during the musical interludes, so maybe it is a shared "delusion" between God and Lucifer. This episode had so many funny moments that even Detective "Buzzkill" Decker made me laugh when she did the "Miley Cyrus" twerk on Lucifer during the Football Stadium scene.
  4. and Maze did the same with her favorite drink.
  5. I enjoyed this episode much more than I did most of the previous episodes. The tone was upbeat and there was a lot of humor. Amenadiel bends the railing. Madam please!, ground your helicopter.
  6. Amenadiel grabs the chicken off the platter with his hands while everybody else uses tongs.
  7. Production is currently underway on location in Puerto Rico.

  12. Electric Entertainment Sells Crime-Thriller Series ‘Leverage: Redemption’ To Canada & Germany Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment has sold the new series Leverage: Redemption to Bell Media in Canada and Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland in Germany. The buyers have picked up all 16 episodes of the Leverage spinoff. Having Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and Bell Media as our partners is a testament to the series itself and gives us the reassurance that our series will reach its audience in the best possible way.
  13. Set in the idyllic but fragile beach paradise of sunny 1980s San Diego, "Physical" is a half-hour dark comedy following Sheila Rubin (Byrne), a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband's bid for state assembly. But behind closed doors, Sheila has her own darkly funny take on life she rarely lets the world see. She's also battling a complex set of personal demons relating to her self-image... . that is, until she finds release through the unlikeliest source: the world of aerobics. At first hooked on the exercise itself, Sheila's real road to empowerment comes when she discovers a way to merge this newfound passion with the burgeoning technology of videotape to start a revolutionary business. The series tracks her epic journey from a stifled, overlooked enabler to a powerful, confident economic force, as Sheila transforms into someone we take for granted today (but was entirely radical at the time) - the female lifestyle guru. In addition to Byrne, "Physical" stars Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Pucci, Paul Sparks and Ashley Liao.
  14. That was an excellent explanation of why Nancy was dating Gil Bobbsey.
  15. The article seemed to suggest that there were no concrete plans for when they would start filming. Winter seemed to be a vague guess at best.
  16. Perry Mason Season 2 May Film In Winter Perry Mason Season 2 may start filming in the winter. Tatiana Maslany won't be back as Sister Alice McKeegan. The series was renewed during the airing of the first season and will bring back Matthew Rhys, (John Lithgow, I am not sure why), Juliet Rylance, Shea Whigham, and Chris Chalk for the upcoming season, as well as Justin Kirk and Eric Lange as series regulars after both were recurring in season one.

  18. Dante's policeman father who was sent to prison for using the crooks money to help the police officers fight crime, came to the same conclusion. If you want to do the most good, you may have to break/bend the rules.
  19. The Bleepin' Robot Chicken Archie Comics Special: I am surprised that they didn't give Cheryl and Kevin a bigger part. Old School faces with New School plotlines. Polly stole the show.
  20. I am guessing I will never understand how time travel works on this show. Sometimes they seem to exist in and remember the same timeline and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they disappear when they alter the timeline and sometimes they don't. There are multiple timelines and you can easily travel to each at will. You can interact with yourself sometimes with consequences and sometimes without consequences. The plot was understandable, but I thought it would be funnier.
