For anybody wondering why Hardison is not in many of the episodes, he has two major movie parts, 1) a starring role as DeCourcy Ward in "City on a Hill" and 2) Justice Society of America member Carter Hall, a.k.a. Hawkman in Dwayne Johnson's upcoming DCEU movie Black Adam which is currently filming. -

S01.E01: Demon Girl SEASON PREMIERE – Officers O’Leary (Karen O’Leary) and Minogue (Mike Minogue) have an encounter with the demon Bazu’aal when it descends upon Wellington leaving no man – or beast – untouched. Jemaine Clement directed the episode written by himself and Paul Yates (#101). The CW original airdate 7/11/2021 @ 9pm The doggy was the best part of the episode. S01.E02: Cop Circles BEAM ME UP – O’Leary (Karen O’Leary) and Minogue (Mike Minogue) investigate possible alien activity in the Wellington countryside. Jemaine Clement directed the episode written by Melanie Bracewell (#102). The CW original airdate 7/11/2021 @ 9:30pm I wonder if they really were Extra-terresticles, since the images of the aliens had some of their parts blurred. I wonder if the blurring was also done in the New Zealand broadcast? -
I think they showed a scene where the aliens were chasing down and eating some (horses? it was an aerial view, I think from the helicopter).

S01.E03: The Rollin' on the River Job

They added a little comedy to lighten the mood, maybe a little too much. What was up with Parker's southern accent, were they trying to make my ears bleed, well played show, you succeeded! Maybe not have kids that are not even 16 years old yet, point guns in peoples faces if you want the viewers to like them. What was the point of stealing Harry's evil client list if you are not going after those people. Why get Eliot's bestie a job on the police force, why not make him a pastry chef for your food trucks. -
This episode was 10 times better than the first episode. It almost seems like they made the first episode themselves and shopped it around to get funding to make the rest of the episodes. Parker and Hardison are not convincing me that they are in love. There is room for a little more comedy in the episodes.

Wellington Paranormal - General Discussion
AnimeMania replied to Bort's topic in Wellington Paranormal
Wellington Paranormal is a New Zealand mockumentary comedy horror television series which is a spin-off from the 2014 film "What We Do in the Shadows". Wellington Paranormal follows the two inept New Zealand Police Officers from the film, Officer Kyle Minogue played by Mike Minogue and Officer O’Leary played by Karen O’Leary, as they investigate cases in one of the most monster-infested places in the world. The show focuses on Officers Minogue and O'Leary and their Sergeant, Ruawai Maaka played by Maaka Pohatu as they encounter one spooky thing after another. Series 1 was 6 episodes and aired in July/August of 2018. A New Zealand Police Recruitment video and four Police Safety Campaign videos starring the TV characters were released in 2018. Series 2 was also 6 episodes and aired in October/November of 2019. A Christmas Special aired in December of 2019. A series of 16 Webisodes called "Important COVID-19 Messages from Wellington Paranormal" were created with the New Zealand Police to promote safe COVID-19 practices, began releasing in March of 2020. Series 3 was 6 episodes and aired in February/March of 2021. Series 4 is currently in production. -
Reynie and Sticky pursue the coveted Messenger status while the girls try to stay afloat in class. Premiere date: July 9, 2021

I think they have them pop out a few kids early and then they can spend the rest of their lives in the military fighting other witches.
-
I felt the same way, because of the hair and makeup, also it seems like they didn't have a large budget so they limited the outdoor shots. The show seemed to spend too much time making callbacks to the original show and winking at it's fans. It threw off the continuity and might throw off new viewers and people who it might have been 10 years since they saw the original show. Eliot's fight scene seemed to be the most relatable part although his moves seemed too fast and his speech went on way too long. Maybe they should of had Eliot voice over what he was going to do while he was actually doing it. Everything Parker said and did just seemed creepy instead of endearing.
