The show is a real-time continuation of what happened in the 1976 movie so it might be nice to be familiar with what happened there to give you the context for what is happening. Unfortunately, although the movie is on Prime Video, you will have to pay to see/rent it.

You will never get an accurate representation of a TV Show character based on wardrobe, living accommodations, furnishings, or vehicle. Most of that stuff are advertisements and product placements. The only thing that reflects how much money they make is their job description. I think most of the celebrities like expensive wardrobes, so they can take some of it with them after they finish filming.

I liked it, the baby is cute, the accidents are tragic and the situations are mildly amusing. I would have preferred if they would have given us a lot more of what Natasha's life was like before the Baby dropped in and completely upended it. I couldn't really tell, but it seemed like Natasha was a successful head chef at a fancy restaurant, hard working and well liked and respected by her fellow workers. Since Natasha is from England, it is a little hard for me to judge how financially successful she is and how much of a strain the Baby will put on her budget.
