  1. The story has become so much more interesting when you know and care about the characters. Too bad The Sandman is not one of those characters. It seems like Rose has the power to replace him, and maybe she should.
  2. It was strange that Ken and Barbie's dream was taking place in what appears to be England, instead of America where they live. The Sandman was really unlikable this episode only using Rose to find his missing nightmare instead of genuinely trying to help Rose find her brother. I think the Sandman will come to regret that decision of pissing off The Vortex, there was no reason he couldn't have waited a minute or two longer to give Rose more clues or let the nightmare provide some information.
  3. I am not sure why Rose would need someone to apartment sit and Lyta would not. The stories would be so much better if they kind of wove them together. To briefly mention of someone is not the same as getting a snippet of the lives across multiple episodes. The episodes need a continuous thread to show that they are connected. The closest we get is The Corinthian and we know almost nothing about what he does or why he does it. Death had a great episode and we got a good understanding of what she does, I would have liked to have seen a snippet of what Desire and Despair do with their time. It might have even been funny to see Desire and Despair do things to keep people from having a good, restful sleep, in order to weaken Dream's power and add to their own.
  4. S03.E06: Screech Leeches The girls revisit Bertie's spookiest memory: a high school friendship that got intense. Original Airdate: August 8, 2022 Midnight Adult Swim
  5. Seth MacFarlane on The Orville's Season 4 Renewal Odds: Disney+ Viewing Could Be a 'Game Changer' The Orville creator Seth MacFarlane reckons that the chances for a Season 4 renewal are at “50-50” but if the show is very successful on Disney+ that could nudge the renewal in the right direction.
  6. Look up Autonomic sensory meridian response (ASMR), it is all the rage on the internet.
  7. This was a terrifically funny episode, Grace Ling should have been pointing out Demons left and right at Kristen's Birthday Party. Kristen: This is my daughter Lexis. Grace Ling: Why the F*ck does she have a tail? Kristen: This is my mother. Grace Ling: I banish you to hell, Demon! Grace Ling: Your Father will be back Next Thursday... in a body bag. Grace Ling would be dead right now if Leland would have sent somebody competent to kill her. Of course Grace Ling is going to ID Leland as the killer and the Church will do nothing and Leland will walk around all next season like nothing happened.
  8. In search of the Spirit Banner, Simon attempts to make a deal, unaware that Lexi, Danny and Shaw are on his tail. What they uncover leads them to Hong Kong while Danny becomes increasingly concerned with Violet's control over Lexi. Original Airdate: August 7, 2022
  9. If you are talking about the John Burgess storyline, they are in America where everybody is required by law to have a gun on them at all times (just kidding). The story seems so straight forward with no twists or turns in the plot. Morpheus just barrels through on a straight course without a plan or thinking to much. Morpheus finally runs into a hiccup with the ruby. Let's hope he has to think first before taking action. What, Morpheus was in love with someone other than himself, how did that happen?
  10. I guess Morpheus is starting to realize that other people might have useful ideas as well. Maybe by the end of the TV series he will be a character that people actually like.
  11. The first episode was around an hour, the second was half that. At no point am I understanding the "plight" of the Waking World. The show plods through by following a "God" that heeds no ones advice, no matter how good or logical. Morpheus' never willing to "compromise even slightly, no matter how sound the advice is" attitude and his willingness to bulldoze over the people who remained loyal to him. "The Sandman" is an unsympathetic character, the advice he got from the "Fates" did not seem to be worth the price he paid for it in the "good will" of his subjects. Too bad Lucienne doesn't have the power to run the Dreaming World, I believe the Realm would be much better off.
  12. As Gina digs into her sister’s mysterious disappearance, the question becomes: Has Leni just run away?, from what?, or is she actually dead? And did Leni leave Gina the worst birthday present, a book with the note, “You get both lives. Choose”? Michelle Monaghan plays dual roles as the twins Leni McCleary and Gina McCleary. Born identical twins, each sister is unique; Leni is the sister that is content to stay home, marry her childhood sweetheart, raise her daughter and help run the beautiful horse farm in Mt. Echo, Virginia, where everyone lives together rooted in their long shared history. Gina is the rebellious sister that turned her back on all that and escaped to Los Angeles where she rose to quick fame writing about a darker undertow that informed her Southern childhood. Whilst married to Gina, he finds himself caught in the undertow of her deep connection to her twin, Leni. But Charlie has a hidden dimension as well. One that will complicate both of the sisters’ lives. Karen Robinson plays Sheriff Louise Floss, the longtime public servant of Mt. Echo. She’s seen it all. That is, until the moment Leni goes missing. Sheriff Floss’ unflappable demeanor will be challenged in every way by the events set in motion by the twins. Rosanny Zayas plays Deputy Paula Martinez. 15. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. The Predators will know that this planet is a lot more dangerous than they originally thought and may take some time to study it before attempting to use it as a solo warrior training/testing ground again.
  16. Big Sky: Rosanna Arquette Cast in Season 3 as SPOILER Rosanna Arquette as Virginia “Gigi” Cessna,
  17. I guess I can say I am somewhat disappointed in the first episode, it was understandable, but it didn't really cover the things that I was most interested in. I wanted to know more about the things The Sandman brought with him into the Waking World, there was some mumbo jumbo about immortality and wealth, but I would have liked a more concrete answer. Sure Sir Roderick seemed to stay healthy and vital all the time the The Sandman's artifacts were in his possession, but his son Alex seemed to continue to age at a relatively normal rate although Alex seemed to have been alive for more than a hundred years. I would have liked to have seen Sir Roderick's situation improve over time as a result of The Sandman's trinkets. Why didn't Sir Roderick have more robed followers and larger crowds clamouring to party with him, only ending when Ethel steals The Sandman's treasures. I feel there was too much focus on Sir Roderick's household when I was more interested in what was going on in the outside world with the "Sleeping Sickness" and the rogue nightmare, Corinthian, unleashing unchecked havoc for a century. This is where I would have wanted the story to focus on. If I could change anything, I would have made Alex stay the same age the entire time The Sandman's relics remained in their safe. This would have fueled Alex's hatred of his father and The Sandman, by perpetually taking the coats of guests and cleaning up the aftermath of parties you could never attend, because you are seen as too young. Normal aging could have resumed for Alex after Ethel steals The Sandman's doodads, this might have also been used to explain how Alex lived well past 100 years old, without greatly altering the story. The story seemed almost like filler where The Sandman went to the Waking World, got trapped for 100 years and managed to escape, they could have spent way more time world building (Waking or Dream World) and I would have enjoyed it more.
  18. I think it is what we find out about the characters, Bunny is not a horrible monster and Nina actually cared deeply for her. Theo is not terrible, he was just forced into a terrible situation. You believed that you could never like either character, it is OK if you do.
  19. Every Opening Scene is slightly different and contains a clue about something that will be important in that episode.
  20. So were all of the victims men, or were some of them women? Since Piper saw all of the men that Marci was picking up at the bars, you would have thought she would catch on, since the same night they would go missing. I am guessing they never drive to the club together or leave together. If only Marci had heard of concealer, I wouldn't of had to sit through this BS. The women were kind of sexy, why is it we only have male nudity, I think is is time for some equal representation.
  21. When they were showing the back of Alara's head, I was thinking it might be Ed's daughter.
  22. S02.E04: The Red Mist Spear and Fang fight to save Mira from the warrior clan that enslaved her. Spear and Fang are severely outnumbered in their stand against the Vikings. Original Airdate: August 4, 2022 Midnight Adult Swim
