  1. I've never been as down on Liz as people have been but even I have to admit that Liz has over-indulged on the stupid pills on this one. Is she really willing to throw everything and everyone she cares about away based solely on the word of a creepy stranger she has literally no reason whatsoever to trust?
  2. Why doesn't Red just go ahead and escape already? People being busted out of secure federal holding is as commonplace in The Blacklist universe as liquor store robberies.
  3. Exactly, I can't say I care about the MC fracturing because I hardly know them. SoA planted the seeds of the conflict to come during the pilot but it still spent a decent enough time with character development and world building before lighting that match. With Mayans it feels less like I'm watching season one of a brand new storyline, and more like I've jumped into season three or four of a show I've never seen before.
  4. Being kidnapped is pretty much a bi-weekly occurrence for Liz (and the rest of the taskforce) at this point.
  5. Liz has never used one to begin with. This ain’t exactly going out on a limb here. Besides, as misstwpherecool pointed out, playing someone who engages in violent, criminal behavior on s regular but only uses certain types of firearms isn’t that righteous of a stand as MB apparently thinks it is.
  6. Why would anyone care that Red stole some mid-level squid's identity thirty years ago? Why would Liz? The identity of the bones causing her to finally walk away from Red is the reason that Kaplan dug it up in the first place. Kaplan didn't know that Liz discovered her father's identity and I can't imagine anyone thinking that Liz would decide that identity theft is the one thing she can't abide by.
  7. God, I nope not. I was glad to see this nonsense laid to rest even if it was the most obvious explanation. To be honest the unconditional love of a parent is probably the most logical explanation for Red's all consuming and never ending devotion to someone who isn't THAT special.
  8. I really, really hope the rest of the (series?) isn’t devoted to Red fretting while deadbeat mom Liz skulks around seeking revenge.
  9. Is Beghe that big of a draw? It’s not like he’s Spader on The Blacklist or anything. I would ditch his ass and keep Sophia Bush in a heartbeat.
  10. The main problem I have with the "imposter" theory is that who would honestly care that Red isn't actually Raymond Reddington? Would anyone doing business with a mass murderer and international crime lord get that shocked or upset if they found out that he operates under some dead guy's identity?
  11. I'm not really looking forward to a whole season of Megan Boone sulking around while trying to put on her best "angry face." And I say that as someone who generally doesn't mind Liz/MB that much.
  12. Another problem I have with the impostor theory is how would this make Liz turn on Red for good which is what Kaplan wanted in the first place? She'd probably be pissed for a while but she would eventually get over it like she did when she found out Red killed her adoptive father or that Red put Tom in her life in the first place. IIRC Liz actually led herself to believe that Red had killed her biological father for a time in season two, and was still willing to work him. I think they should just say Red's her father and be done with it. The writers dragged out the mystery of Liz and Red's relationship way, way too long and I'd be happy if they just moved on.
  13. The task force has stopped extinction level events using the Red's intel. Anyone that Red has killed is a drop in the bucket compared to the lives that have been saved.
