  1. I just rewatched the episode again and the one thing that left an impression on me was Lauren's smile. After watching her interact with the vets she seems right at home and had such a real and genuine smile on her face. I find most of the nurses I know have that as part of their nature. She will definitely be an asset on Show Group interacting with the public. Plus, she definitely has to be smart to be a cardiac nurse. I just had to laugh...saw how I repeatedly said "definitely";)
  2. She grew up in Delaware......believe it of not, there is more of a accent there...I grew up outside of Philly but went to high school in Delaware and everything from water to tomato was spoken differently...I felt like singing that song you say tomato and I say to mat to let's call the whole thing off;) Even just one state south in Maryland, where I live now, it is even more Southern...North Jersey and South New Jersey are also very different.
  3. I don't think I ever saw Judy or Kelli cry before when they had to release a candidate. You can tell how much they really loved her. I also noticed how high Brianna was able to get her leg when Kitty was having them stretch. She tried her best and she made many good friends. I got the impression Kelli and Judy really want her to take some power classes and come back. I thought I heard her say other than that you have it. She is not just a beautiful girl, but just as sweet on the inside. I guess you can call her a sweetheart. I am confident when she is able to master the power component, she will hopefully be able to be one of America's Sweethearts:) I LOVE Keyra as well. Such a bright smile and great performer! I loved that they were able to show the charity work the team does as well. Kelli was correct, they were meeting some real american hero! How about the vet who survived Iwo Jima. Warmed my heart to see these men honored on national tv as well! I have to say I was crying as well.
  4. I know what you mean. I have seen the Jersey Shore....there are some who go a little heavy handed on the make up. My brother lived in Atlanta for 15 years so I understand what you are saying. I grew up outside of Philly and went to school in Delaware, kinda like Brianna, so we both have to same style, though she is much prettier than me;) I used to kid my friends from the south that they had perfected mascara application!
  5. Not the east coast i live in;)
  6. Honestly I never asked her mom...I know she is excited about the opportunity to dance for one of the best dance teams out there. I would imagine every dancer has it on their wish list. The intention is to go to college while participating as a DCC. I have only spoken about the present not the future. When you have a passion for dance you have a passion for dance.
  7. I was so happy to see him compliment her on doing well with his choreography. I think it was the first time CMT actually showed some of her good work. I get the feeling they are only finding the mistakes...and all the girls are making them, they are just not being highlighted. Maybe that is why she is still there. She is really trying hard and is making progress. Part of me thinks the producers are trying to make her cry in the front of the camera.
  8. I am sooooo happy for her! Alexandria is such a sweetheart..looks like all her dreams are coming true:)
  9. Here is a behind the scenes video from the makeover at the salon.
  10. I want to say only the Shadow knows but most people on this site are probably too young to catch that reference? I like what you said!
  11. My heart goes out to Kalyssa right now. I saw she is in the practice formation for the game. Her grand mom just passed away a few days ago.
  12. Milan received a Barbie along with Bri...maybe she was connected with her and wanted to make sure she was okay?

  14. How awesome that she bought Vivian a new outfit after the Tin Man train wreck. I love Kitty!
  15. She did the invitational with them. The kicks use different muscles. She definitely wanted to be there? google the article about Jackie Scott. It was interesting. Remember there is definitely editing for the storylines.
  16. I just reread an article from Jacie Scott who made the Rockettes...she mentioned one of the differences is they perform the kicks eye high...i believe it actually is a different technique and uses different muscles. When you watch the clip from Brianna's solo in the episode it showed her kicking pretty high in her solo routine. I really wish they had shown more of her solo. So maybe that is why she felt confident that Brianna could make it happen during TC.
  17. Jerry Jones says it to the team...give it your all on the field...empty your bucket Yeah @ShellyB is in the house!!!
  18. They skipped over the Barbie presentation.
  19. https://www.today.com/news/disturbing-video-shows-high-school-cheerleaders-forced-repeated-splits-t115456?cid=sm_npd_td_fb_ma Have any of you guys seen this video on the Today Show? Unbelievable. Has anyone ever had to do something like this?
  20. I think Kashara has beauty and charisma. She looks like she is having fun and is the perfect blend of the old school cheerleader(remember I am 51 and cheerleading used to be about cheering on the team) and the modernized dancing cheerleader. There are probably many fans in the stands who thinks she look just right. She also has her weight distributed like you said in an hourglass figure, think Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield. I don't know a lot about cheerleading, but what I do know from watching the show is Kelly and Judy would not let anyone in that spot who they thought had any issues. Her waist is toned and her smile is contagious. Just a thought but with Holly off the team, maybe this is a distraction so it won't be go glaring that Holly is gone;)
  21. Hey everyone living in Texas...just saw the weather forecast for tropical storm Harvey and want to say stay safe. Not sure if it will reach the Dallas area, but my thoughts are with you guys!
  22. I just have to add @njcate traffic is NYC/NJ is insane. I can imagine it is bad is the Dallas area but I am so glad I do not have to drive up there any more;) I wonder if she said it without thinking and wished later that they had edited it out.
  23. Bri lives in NJ but went to high school for the arts in Delaware.
